@user-ln3lt5yb5r it could be if they have inferior tools I guess. They sell special blades for grinders that would able to cut both safes easily before it was no good. What’s crazier is the alarm went off, but was cut. But no one responded to the alarm. There should have been an override if the system was tampered with. No police, no owner.
I’m in the security business, you would get that cabinet open and silenced before police were saying freeze sucka!
If the system is on phone lines you can get a full two minutes before anybody gets an alarm signal. That’s plenty of time to cut wires if they didnt cut the phone before breaking in.
An alarm will sound once installed. It is then up to the owner to pay a monthly fee for monitoring. Seeing as how he decided to opt out of insurance I am sure that alarm monitoring is also off the budget.
dude could've easily had that technology with a little forethought but given _no insurance_ it honestly doesn't surprise me. A bit of a "it's done, don't have to worry about it now" approach.

Yes, he faked a robbery to get the insurance that he doesn't have.
Inside job means having insurance lol
@@lukeskywalkermod3686Insane how many people lack common logic lol
Please explain what would be gained from an inside job when there is no type of insurance to cover losses.
He stole his own jewelry. He hired somebody
To do what with it? Why would he steal something he already has? 🤷🏽♂️
How can you be so dumb?
@@RC94332 it could easily be tax evasion or he could be cleaning money.
This whole thing seems VERY suspicious. Most landlords won't even let a jewelry store be a tenant without insurance. Most jewelry stores are also not going to store $800k worth of merchandise in their store, the vast majority of showroom pieces are CZ and diamonds are ordered in as per client needs. If he did have $800k without insurance and still bothered to have a security system (which insurance requires), then he's an idiot.
I heard of one story of a jeweler getting ready to go through a divorce so he tool off his insurance and then had all his assets get "stolen" so the wife couldn't go after it during the divorce.
I worked in fine jewelry for approximately 20 years. The gems in the showroom were genuine.
@@cw5451he went to Jared
The fact that he did not have documentation for insurance purposes tells me he could possibly been being dealing with stolen jewelry or melted down previously owned gold and diamonds
I would consider it to be quite
foolish not to carry insurance
on an 800K holding.
Umm that’s not a drill hole
It’s called SAWING, NOT DRILLING 😂😂😂
It’s called cutting not sawing. They used cutting wheels and grinders
How do you have no insurance??
I knew a guy who was nearly blind for cutting a safe open with a torch and no eye protection. Said he didn't know you needed it at the time and was looking right at what he was doing. He said he turned the torch off and everything just went dark. And stayed that way.
No insurance!!! Irresponsible people who know best. What a tragedy.
Yall talking about no insurance but this guy didn't have any security cameras with wifi capabilities to alert him someone is in his store stealing his shit! That's why he ain't got insurance 😂
The news guy kept talking about drilling the door of a safe. I saw where the thieves used a grinder to the SIDE of each safe, not the doors, and not a drill. leave it to news people to get a story wrong on a lot of levels.
Even the typical highest security rating for a jeweler, diamond merchant safe might be;
TLTR-60x6
To withstand attack with professional experienced burglar using appropriate tools of his trade.
Tool (TL) and Torch (TR) Rated for 60 minutes on All Six (6 Sides)
Even the vest rated safes are intended to be combined with a robust alarm annunciation system and response protocols.
Probably 9 of 10 jewelers have a TLTR-30 at best without the Six (6) sides rating
Drill? What was drilled? Is this how dumb the news is?
DNA BLOOD NO INSURANCE🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️
What kind of jewelry shop doesn't have insurance!! 😂😂
When fake til you make it actually creates bad habits 😂😂
No insurance on a business with valuables... you tried being cheap and found out why that's stupid. We all hate paying insurance but this is why you need it dude.
