I’ve been a Sitka loyalist for years. This summer at TAC Kuiu had a booth so I stopped in and tried on the kutana pant and I immediately fell in love and ordered two pairs!
I love the Kutana! Great pant and very durable. I have always wanted to try Sitka in a solid, but have never got around to it. Lately, since it’s been hot, I’ve been wearing the Tiburon. They are amazing as well!! Thanks for the comment btw! Please like and subscribe!
What are the wastes like. I have had to have a couple surgeries and my scars are waste line areas and some pants just kill me. So I look for pants that have some kind of stretch in the waste line.
That’s a fair question. And to be Frank, Axis is my go to when it’s cold. I like it better than the guide. I rarely wear my guide pants any longer. The axis are warmer and more wind proof and waterproof to boot. So…. Yeah, they are $70 dollars better to stay warmer and dryer, in my opinion.

Sitka guy here. I like athletic fit kits. I am hearing great things about Kuiu. Looking for a good mid season kit pant. Suggest the Attack? Or Pro?

Pretty much. The Kutana’s that I am wearing are a little slimmer fit than the others. But they all fit very similar.

Is the guide pointless when the axis exists? Is the axis $70 better?
