  • Here I show how I rebuilt my old PC in a new case. The case has very few reviews online so I made one to help out the PC Master Race. My PC has the following specs if you are interested in my ramshackle old hodge podge of second hand parts.
    Gigabyte GA-Z68AP-D3 mobo
    I7 2600K (OC to 4.1ghz)
    Be Quiet Dark Rock Pro 3 Cooler
    16gb of mixed ram (1600mhz)
    Asus GTX 970 Strix
    Samsung Evo 750 250gb SSD
    Toshiba 7200rpm 2tb HDD
    OCZ ZS 750w power supply
    a few Zalman fans
    and now a Game Max Elysium case.

      Dutchbiker do you build a lot? I suppose something more expensive might stand up to repeated assembly and dismantling.

      I do but not for my personal pc. i usually upgrade every 3 years and go complete with a new case. This time it is to transfer my current rig until i can upgrade to Ryzen 2

    If the front was glass, and it still allowed a dvd recorder, and if the side wasnt plastic, if it was glass, I think I would buy because it is really nice. This is what I would like my box to look like

    I think the holes to pass the MoBo and power supply cables are very tight and uncomfortable. Also there are no real 5.25" bays, just a tiny plate to screw any hard disk or optical device.

    I just got this case for my new computer build but no manual or anything with it to tell me how to remove the front panel, Could you know how to remove it by any chance? Theres wrap all on the inside of it i need to get out

      did you figure it out cos i have the same problem

    • @DannyFTWOfficial
      @DannyFTWOfficial 6 лет назад

      Yeah i did if you take both sides off and look inside towards the front of the case you'll see these black pin things coming through a hole, there's 3 on each side one at the top one in the middle and one at the bottom i was sure it was these but i couldn't get it off so after ages i just figured it had to be, you can squeeze them and the whole point is once they go through the hole they click and the case cant be pulled off unless they're squeezed and the front case is pulled off but its hard so i got some pliers and pressed one of the top ones in and pushed the little black thing as it was squeezed in and then i held that side of the top of the case so it didnt click back in and done the same on the top on the other side and eventually i had the top of the front panel pulled away from the case but the middle and bottom pins were still in so i done the same with the bottom and once theyre out you should be able to pull it off from the bottom because those pins are impossible to get to, hopefully you get it off i know how annoying it is even after that you have to unscrew the plastic panels from the front case to get the wrap off fully but they click back in place its just getting the front case off that's the hard part

    • @isofilmy
      @isofilmy  7 лет назад

      Crohn I haven't tried to remove the front panel. The fan isn't in place because some people may want a CD drive. However I agree it would be nice to put a third fan in. However you would have to try and buy one that is the same as the included fans.

    A random question: Does anyone have the Dark Rock Pro 3 CPU Cooler? Does it fit in this case?
    PC Part Picker says it won't, but at the same time I've seen many cases (With the same max CPU Cooler height as the Falcon) that said it won't, even though in reality it will.
    *Edit* Just realised that "1" this isn't the case I originally thought it was, and "2" I could just file a millimetre or two off the top of the cooler. NVM!
