A lot of animations like the PPK combo, the way guards react to it, and how guards get up from the ground are visibly rough and very unfinished. My guess is that is why they didn't showcase any combat yet because good God this was ROUGH to see.

I can’t wait for this. My dad got me into MGS at an early age with MGS1. This is really like a dream come true, MGS3 with MGSV gameplay elements. I really hope Konami considers more remakes in the future.

They’ve done a wonderful job, the game looks gorgeous and the gameplay smooth! And BTW, you’re quick with the update vids, my man! Honestly, the camouflage changes would be cool to see live or animated as Snake would actually have to change outfits. But just to have it while still playing wouldn’t be realistic, menus are okay. Also, it’s cool that we see lip sync of Snake with codec calls in the background. I think I would play New Style, and I certainly wouldn’t skip the campfire scene with Eva.
U really don’t need the hud especially with pop up camo menu health is irrelevant if your playing it right so many games don’t need a hud so much screen clutter

6:03 - If I want to play mgs3, I just play the original. I'm glad the gameplay is not 1 to 1, because if it was, then why bother? Just for the graphics? Believe it or not this game exists because a majority of the fans wanted an updated version of "the best metal gear game" They tried to keep most things one to one so that it doesn't take away from the experience that made the game so popular in the first place. A lot of companies remake A game, but in the process they change so much to the point where it isn't even the game they were trying to remake anymore. This normally causes backlash, I think they will just trying to play it safe here, they were updating the game and giving fans what they were asking.

I prefer the HUD on the middle down, its not 4:3 ratio era of square screens anymore like the OG MGS3 days

It does look like it needs tweaking, the way it feels to control your character is an underrated important thing in a game.
