It would be a hell of a lot easier if you just grasped the bulb itself, and used The leverage to unscrew it. Once it's out you can lift up on the bulb and move it away from the headlight housing. That way you're not trying to squeeze your fingers, from two hands, back there to unlatch the wiring harness from the bulb.

What year Honda is this
I have to replace my low beam bulb for the first time, is there some sort of seal that will need replaced by the dealership?

Use gloves or make sure not to touch the new bulb.
