Yea I always take out a percentage for taxes if I get paid through check but with cash I just pocket it and don’t report it. But 100% I always keep that in mind, taxes suck lol
Yea I definitely need to start post treating but not having a soft wash system really holds me back right now but even if it’s just going over it with the pump sprayer at the end could really make a big difference, so thank you for the insight!
Dude. How did you find all that equipment for 2600? I’m looking for equipment and trying to find the most cost effective way to start. Also super stoked for you btw keep up the great work! I’m starting the same thing here in MO.
Hey man! In terms of experience not a ton, I did a few pressure washing jobs under another company as in few I mean literally like 3 jobs it was with a family friend, then I saved up 4 grand to put towards the business bought the rig, llc, insurance, some other tools and cleaning supplies and got going, but it’s a step by step process don’t be to eager and take your time, I’ve been in business for 2 months exactly though.
Thank you! That’s crazy it was on your feed I appreciate you letting me know, and I honestly can’t remember I just got it and it’s through my aunts insurance lady and I don’t even remember 😂
Just wondering how much competition you have where you live? Or if any. I’ve been debating on trying to start one for the last few months but have made a decision yet
Quite a bit unfortunately I’m in SWFL so there’s competition for about any business venture you start here but there’s also lots of customers out there.
So you just use pool bleach and mix with water for the concrete? What ratio do you use? Looking for some help on which chemicals to use as I'm just getting started.
No worries brother basically there’s 10% sodium Hypochlorite (SH) in pool chlorine so if you are trying to achieve a 2% mix of SH you would use 1/5 pool chlorine and 4/5 water so for every 1 gallon of pool chlorine 4 gallons of water and you’ll get a 2% mix, say you wanted a 4% mix it would be 2 gallons of pool chlorine for every 3 gallons of water and so on so forth but u rly should never need more then a 6% mix and that’s rly only for asphalt roofs, if you get quote iq and go to the features sections they have a list of the recommended mixtures for each surface or material !
Hey man thank you! I have general liability that covers up to a million dollars in damage or injuries and bodily harm of customers which should never happen 😂 and then I’m also getting equipment/theft coverage for my new rig!
I have a 5.5 gpm and that is wayyyyy to slow especially for the driveway not being very dirty, try 25035 nozzles, you replace them with a wrench it’s easy
I have 2.5 size tips with 25 spray on the cleaner and just put new ones on so I’m not totally sure what the issue is. But I’m going to try adjusting the unloader
hey man contrctive crit, you dont have to move so slow, you need to run a hotter mix, 2% for concrete is to low I would download quote IQ from miketv and forever self employed, if your pre treating and post treating those swirls will go away but good stuff best of luck, keep up the work and I subbed
In this video I was using a 5.5gpm rig but it had issues I recently got it fixed and it works so much better, but I’m selling it now because I bought a 12gpm on an igx800 in an enclosed trailer with a nice soft wash system and for a surface cleaner I have a 48inch mondo and a 20inch for smaller walk ways.
Most often that’s how it’s done, but he could have his own trailer. There’s some jobs too big for a water tank. More than likely since he’s starting out I’m sure he’s connecting directly to the customers water hose/line.
Yes sir that’s typically how it’s done I have my own rig so I have a buffer tank but for that job I hooked up to his water, the customer expects that though when they pay for pressure washing

Great job, I started pressure washing a year ago, and love it, why don't you get a 8gpm pump to put on your motor,
My motor is 18hp so it wouldn’t give quite enough power to a 8gpm pump but I’m looking at a new rig now!
