You think it’s worth trading in a 21’ custom for 24’ rst turbomax? RST doesn’t have any of the packages but does have standards that custom doesn’t have like headlights, heated seats, fog lights and nicer interior.
This assist steps are ugly, I would skip them too. RST is the best trim for more users in daily use. For me best trim is ZR2 without Bison package but with 6.2 V8. Greetings
2018 5.3 LT at 34,000 miles mine failed due to the 4-6-8 lifters. Guide bars are plastic and break allowing the roller lifter to turn 90 degrees. Instantly wiped out two lobes on the camshaft. Chevy warrantied camshaft and lifters. But all the iron shavings off of the cam circulated through the bearings. After the fail, I installed an electronic device to disable the 4-6-8. 120,000 miles now and I’m shopping. Not going to wait for another failure. I’m considering a Tundra. I like this RST. Apparently there is a device you can have installed to deactivate that fuel management system and keep all the cylinders going at all times.
I have seen that on this guys Camaro SS.. I would definitely look into getting one if this was my truck
