Great video, with the help of your other video, "How To Measure a Garage Door Torsion Spring to Order Replacement', I was able to replace both of my springs and get my garage back up and running! Thank you!
Great service. Kyle walked me through sizing my springs by responding immediately to my email on a weekend. I also liked the free package of winding bars, cables and center bushing. Parts arrived quickly and exact to order. Real value in doing business with Kyle at DIY garage door parts.
These guys are excellent. Ordered my springs on a Tuesday night (watch the video on spring measurement as well), and had them sent overnight as I had a car stuck in the garage and I didn’t want to risk injury manhandling the door. Shipping label was created by 6AM the next morning and the springs were on my doorstep Thursday. Watched the video three or four times, then played it back in sections as I did it. Took about an hour and I know nothing about these doors except they open and close. Saved me at least $200. My kit came with both springs, the winding bar, and a new steel center bearing. I will recommend these guys to everyone!

I'm so grateful for this garage door spring replacement video! It saved me a lot of money and gave me the confidence to tackle the job myself. Thank you.
I found this video via a search, went to the site and ordered needed parts using their ery detailed guidelines. When the parts came, everything went exactly as shown here. I had this same job done professionally about 10 or so yers ago, and it cost over $250 then. Who knew the secret is a pair of bars made from steel round stock! Not only was this an easy job, but winding the springs is a fair substitute for inside jab work with a boxing bag. All that aside, these guys are seriously helpful. No telling how much I saved in today’s costs.
I'll pile on with most of the other posters here, and let you know that if is the first video you were fortunate enough to watch, STOP looking around now. This video is incredible clear, concise, and to the point. GREAT VIDEO!

LOVED the video! I didn’t want to pay extra for someone else to do this. A quick search and found you. I’ll be calling tomorrow! Very informative.. thanks
Thanks Vic
This video is informative, detailed and straight to the point. I really appreciate your help. Thank you Kyle!
Absolutely perfect video. Gave me everything I needed to safely change my torsion spring. Thank you!
Kyle. You saved me $200 by doing it myself. Shipped fast and videos are very informative. Would buy from again! Thank you!
Thanks Edward!
This saved me big time. Thanks for the video.
I'm so grateful for this garage door spring replacement video! It saved me a lot of money and gave me the confidence to tackle the job myself. Thank you.
best video of this...thanks kyle...well put together, lighting, audio, etc..."it's pointing at ya" lol
Great job guys. Thanks for the parts and instruction. Replacement went flawlessly.
Thank you
Worked just like you showed. Thanks a lot!!!
Outstanding video...Thank you so much!
I'll pile on with most of the other posters here, and let you know that if is the first video you were fortunate enough to watch, STOP looking around now. This video is incredible clear, concise, and to the point. GREAT VIDEO!
thank you very much! This video was very useful!
Pablo Ocasio You are most welcome
I give you 6 stars. After watching your video a couple of times I was able install my new spring with in 45 minutes, and it probably saved me at least $400.00 or more.
Thanks brother
Thanks Kyle! Had a spring break, jumped on RUclips and found your video. Shipping from your website took a day to South Carolina. Just finished up a few minutes ago and the door is working better than ever.
I appreciate it!
Busted a spring this morning coming home from work. This is a first, time to order some parts.
well, howd it go?
ProfessionalDad he died
Watched about 7 videos to make sure I knew what I was doing, bought a spring from DIY Garage Door Parts (after getting a quote for $600 from a local tech) and installed it in an hour and a half. So glad I did!!
Yes, 30-31 quarter turns. Let me know if you have any other questions.
Before I watched this video, I was cranked 20 quarter turns and head a noise, so I stopped, but when door open, it only up half way, no more :juice" or stored energy. SO later I did 31 turns and the door ups as it should be.
This video saved me $$$. I was able to follow step by step with no confusion. When I was done everything worked great. Thank a million!
I’ve used this video twice now. Thank you!
I know you published this informative video along time ago I wanted to say thank you it worked perfectly for me. I wish you success in your future thanks again from Southern California
You are welcome Mike! I am glad it could help out.
Kyle
Excellent job on the video. Thanks.

Very nice tutorial! Not sure who would give a thumbs down on this but you are probably a sad person who deserves to pay somebody to do your repairs. Thanks guys for making the video.

Thanks, I glad it has helped out.
Probably the easiest video to follow when replacing springs. Completed mine in about an hour due to the bar ends needing some persuasion before sliding out. I would recommend this video and the spring measurement video to anyone needing to complete the same job.
A++
One of my springs just broke today and when I searched, "repairing broken garage door spring" this video popped up, I clicked on it and I'll be damned if it wasn't the exact same spring in the exact same spot. Very helpful. Thank you.
You are welcome, glad to help

Thanks so much for this video. I was quoted $1000 for this repair, and I just finished it for less than $100.
Your video provided step-by-step instructions on replacing garage door springs, and I must say, I was impressed! You have explained everything in such a clear and concise manner that even someone like me, who doesn't have much experience with DIY projects, could understand it easily.
Excellant demo and explanation!! Thanks much!
What a great content! You explained with such clarity and detail! Garage door spring replacement - How to save money by replacing garage door springs video - 2023. Thanks for the tutorial!!!
Thank you, I knew nothing about garage doors and was able to switch out my spring from watching this informative video. Thank you.
Thanks Mark
This is great! I just ordered parts for a customer. Their spring broke and I knew NOTHING about garage door maintenance until I watched all your videos. Now I can add garage door repair to my list of services. Thanks!
Amazing video! I just ordered 2 springs and changed it myself in less than 2 hours. I highly recommend your products and your help! Proud to support an American business!
Thanks David!
@@diygaragedoorparts How do I find the right torsion spring size?
@@whome1636 We have a video on on the channel for that.
this guy is awesome thank U Saved Me hundreds of dollars
THANK YOU! Every step was exactly as you showed, made life a lot easier for me
I followed this video today and replaced the torsion springs (ordered from the site on the video). The whole thing was smooth and took me 75 minutes from start to finish. The only extra thing I did was to lube the springs after they were twisted. I saw that on another video and figured it was a good idea. I called around for quotes and this DIY job saved me about $175. Thanks for a great tutorial.
awesome glad it went well! We like to lube the springs with the gel lube we sell on the site, 3-1 oil or motor oil works too.
Thanks for support!
I am sure those disliked the video are the garage door repairmen. One of the springs on my garage door was broken. I called the guy. He came and gave me a quote for 700$ two new springs and labor. I was angry. Came on amazon, bought two brand new springs for 130$. Followed this video. It was easy. If I see you Kyle, I'll buy you a really good coffee. Thanks again!
