Huh, pretty neat with the auto preview, that’s handy. Just got a 23 xc90 recharge and loving it. Just wish the CarPlay was wireless, that’d be the cherry on top because the rest of the infotainment is great.
Yeah, at first I was bummed about that as well especially because Volvo initially told us it would be wireless when it was still a prototype. But realistically Apple CarPlay is far less "necessary" in this vehicle than other vehicles because the Google system integrates so well just through Bluetooth. Apple Podcasts and Apple Music specifically are the only things that really missed at all when not using carplay. If Google ever integrates a downloadable Apple Music app that would eventually solve everything...time will tell. Also, the aftermarket wireless adapters have gotten much better in the last two years (I've had two with multiple firmware updates) and I expect one to be compatible with the Volvo system / USB-C any day. The one I tested a month ago was not yet compatible but I'll keep you updated if I find one that works when it does.
Went for a trip a couple of weeks ago and wanted to navigate from home, to a destination and back home. It just showed me that I would arrive at the destination with 17% and back home with -60% or something. But I wanted to add a specific charging station along the route to see if could make it to the destination and back home by charging at that specific station. I really struggled to get this working and had to let it go and just drive there. Any tips?
Sorry for your troubles. I don't know of a specific way other than to add the charge stop and scroll through them until you get to the one you want. The PLUGSHARE app/website makes that possible and I absolutely LOVE how functional it is at least on the desktop version. Have you downloaded that app on your car through the play store?
