As an Aussie who has grown up with Barnsey (Cold Chisel formed when I was 9) his back catalogue is definitely worth a dive into. Freight Train Heart his 3rd solo & East Cold Chisel’s 3rd album are my faves. Fave colabs are The Weight with the Badloves, and Good Times with INXS.

When it comes to Cold Chisel, they are an out and out live band that has two lead singers and the other singer, Ian Moss, has a great voice too which complements Jimmy's voice. Cold Chisel have been performing for nearly 5 decades. They originally broke up in 1983 but got back together in 1997 and produced another 4 studio albums to go with their first 5 albums. They also have a heap of live albums, naturally.
Early Cold Chisel, you can't go past Khe Sanh....or Flame Trees. They're part of Australian culture. Decades after release they were still such a part of the fabric of country universities here... Jimmy's "Working Class Man" was also quite the anthem.
