Greyhound passengers not happy with new location in Center City due to Sixers arena plans

- Passengers planning on taking a Greyhound bus from their usual terminal in Chinatown were in for a surprise Wednesday. That's because a sign on the terminal door directed them to a new location. Madeleine Wright reports that many passengers are not happy with the change.
This is one of our main transportation companies in our country - Greyhound had no business selling the company to another country - Now a German company owns it and this is what happens. People need to contact state and government officials and make huge complaints about this - this is horrible - I've never seen something so damn stupid!
The company Flix which bought greyhound is trying to duplicate what they do over in Europe. They use outside bus stops and people show up when the bus is approaching. That’s not the way buses are used here in the United States for long distance travel. Over here people take the bus because they’re down to their last dollar, so they have no place else to go. in Tampa, the bus picks up and drops off underneath an overpass across from the city bus depot. No greyhound passengers are allowed to use their facilities there despite that they rent the space.
Woow, Business owners & locals ARE NOT happy with the New SIXERS arena which is EXACTLY causing BS like this!!, Keep the sixers at the sport complex by out of the way like I-95, I dont mind the view as I drive by.
This is a disgrace !! It would be interesting to see what the ADA {The Americans with Disabilities Act} thinks of this.
This is a disgrace to have people standing around or sitting on the ground. Greyhound and Peter Pan should be ashamed of themselves. The city should be embarrassed for this to be going on but when you have a weak mayor things like this can happen. The 76ers haven’t won nothing and not going to win anything so why should they get a brand new stadium! Go Amtrak!
Peter Pan has always treated their customers better. That was Greyhounds station that they let Peter Pan use. Peter Pan had no involvement in the relocation decision. I bet very soon, Peter Pan will move to the Megabus station at 30th street station. Megabus has always done curbside pickups, and they are damn better.
The bathrooms on the busses are already gross. Now without a restroom at the station there will probably be a line for it on the bus once everyone boards.
Rather take the regional rail then New Jersey transit if I'm going to New York
Utter BS. This is a dangerous situation. Every retail space in that row of stores should be part of the terminal and bathrooms are a must. Shame on Greyhound and shame on the city for allowing this.

The state needs to pass laws prohibiting certain businesses from not allowing people to use restrooms. That is reckless endangerment.
I rode greyhound in the 80s.the stations were clean and had clean bathrooms.its cheap transportation and companies cut corners to increase profit.ive seen several videos about this and i wouldnt take a bus today.
Downfall of Greyhound. They were bought out by Flixbus. They also don’t have a customer service number anymore for complaints. They know they are horrible and they need to shutdown. I like Flixbus better. Get in and get out.

Flixbus now owns Greyhound- they bought them last year.

Greyhound selling off assets like the INDOOR terminals with restrooms is a BAD sign.
It inconvenient for Greyhound passengers waiting outside with no bathrooms and no where to sit, I feel sorry for the passengers who takes Greyhound, Peter Pan and Flix buses, because Greyhound is terrible with their services 😊
What a disaster
Its a temporarily location. Its the only open space suitable for Bus pickup close the the old space. They should have done a better job informing their customers.
Where does it say this is temporary? Where is the permanent location? This was not addressed in this report.
SEPTA temporarily turned the route 56 into a bus... It's been over 30 years... No trolleys yet...
