This is a nationwide corporate policy by the bus companies. Greyhound and other companies no longer wish to have large terminals.
The City is so greedy for money. People are out there in the heat last summer. Philadelphia needs to be ashame, you have to have a restroom
I still don't know why the filbert street building closed, and I live here. I think they trying to make room for the new sixer stadium

I was stabbed 5 times inside the men’s restroom at the bus station at 10th and filbert.
Left to bleed out on the floor right there in the bus terminal.
I asked the woman who hailed cabs to “please call the police”.
She fainted.
This was in 1992.
Might be a lifetime ago to some however Philly hasn’t changed a lick and I’m positive neither has its inhabitants.
Careful what you wish for! If the bus station doesn’t have the proper security than 10000000% you don’t want to be inside the terminal.

Driver here...down south...this is beyond sickening...and it's much more than Philly ! Customer service has died and been buried...I remember the Dog and people dressing up to travel...long trips? There were stations that served actual meals...These places dont even have restrooms? Waaaay back they had the restrooms that had dime slots...maybe that cut down on cleaning/vagrants. Some people have wheelchairs and need the lift. Loading your own bag, keeping up with it, assisting the elderly/kids/lost...Bless you if you have a question or your bus/connection is late.

💥💥My hometown of Philadelphia is a dumb city. Why don't they just move the Greyhound and Peter Pan and all the other buses to 30th street Station where the trains is at?
That's what they did down here in the Washington DC area there used to be a Greyhound terminal on K Street but it got closed down 10 years ago because of bums crackheads and prostitutes so they moved the Greyhound buses Peter Pan and other bus agencies to Union Station.
He said well the good thing is fried chicken is near by so hope you like fried chicken.

Philadelphia had nothing to do with the corporate decision. The building's lease was ending. The 76ers basketball team is buying property. And the bus companies Nationwide are getting rid of terminals as a cost saving measure.
@WALTERBROADDUS yea i understand but most times you are picked up from a hotel front. Your better off booking a flight for $40-50 roundtrip. The problem solving takes a longgg time.

Last time I was on a Bus it was also filled with Illegal immigrants as well.
