How is anyone supposed to take any facts in this video seriously if you showed images of Boston, Massachusetts forbthe entirety of the South Boston, Virginia portion of the video? In the few points you showed other places, they were in the mountains...which South Boston is not. Also for Petersburg, you showed the palace at Versailles and a giant cruise ship. Seriously? Even if your dollar amounts and populations are correct, the rest discredits your video.

That was not the Palace of Versailles in France, but instead, the Hermitage Palace Museum in St. Petersburg, Russia.

South boston and norfolk, va. r hoods. I am from Virginia. Norfolk is known for the naval base.
What about Richmond or Danville?

None of what you showed of Petersburg had anything to do with that city nor Did you show South Boston but the city of Boston. Plus, Danville,South Boston and Petersburg are cheap to live because of the crime problems in those places
I live in a store with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms on an acre of land that I paid 9000 dollar for 5 years ago in Lawrenceville va
Galax is a pretty town.
But, it is pronounced "Gay-lax," rather than "Gal-ax".
If you're in Virginia and you want cheaper you move west. Be prepared for low paying employment and below average schools.
If you want better pay and employment then you move to NOVA.
And if its average schools, retail employment and a very diverse community you move to the east.
As the saying goes you get what you pay for. I should know as ive lived all over Virginia.

The pictures towards the end of the info on Petersburg don’t exist. Maybe they accessed St.Petersburg but nothing as posh as that.

Northern VA, Eastern VA, and Central VA are well above the median state average in affordability. Radford, Waynesboro and Covington are the three non Southern VA affordable cities featured in this video.
You can take Danville off the list.i live there and prices have went through the roof.
