    I was always amazed about how both Peter Gabriel & Phil Collins sound so much alike when they would sing. I wonder if they ever knew each other. I always enjoyed hearing Sledgehammer when I was growing up.

    Remakes are never better. Just different. OG's are always the best, because they are heard the way the original artist intended them to be heard. But I can appreciate covers that are well done. Dave Matthews Band rocks the hell out of this song live.

      *****​ Thanks for backing me up and it's true that the vast majority of my generation listens to contemporary pop and a lot of it sucks. I listen to almost every genre, yes that includes rap, dubstep, and a little pop, buy at the end of the day classic rock is where it's at. Also, I feel that certain music pertains to specific moods. This means there's a time and place for certain types of music.
