I love how one single sentence from Arch has immediately devolved the comments from discussion on the lore to a political warscape. That sentence has pulled focus pretty well.
You forgot to mention, that Kor Phaeron and Erebus, according to new HH books were closeted Chaos cultists, and when the big E made Lorgar and Word Bearers take a knee they went to him like the friendly merchants they were, rubbing their hands and guided him straight to big 4. Also in Prospero Burns, Russ mentions that this would be not the first time he is sent to slay a brother primarch, so he might know more about his missing brothers.
Damn, and there i expected a short rundown of all the primarchs or something superficial like that. This was pretty awesome to hear, a bit more in-depth information - but i'd really like to hear the stories of the rest of the primarchs, in the style you already did. Keep it up, those are great videos!
Anonymous247n Well my little friend. Maybe we will hear the lore on other primarchs in the year 35765, when we serve as Servoheads on behalf of commisars. Arch nowadays has more "hinted at" lore videos open, than money in his bank account.
They Told Me I Could Become Anything, So I became an Eggplant +Yes. You may press the button to deliver the Emperors Holy Wrath upon the heretics. GLORY TO THE EMPEROR Thought for the day: Hope is the first step on the road to disappointment+
From what I know the Emperor tried to destroy chaos by purging religion from the Galaxy, mistakenly believing that it was faith in general that empowered the Chaos Gods and not emotion and worship of the chaos Gods.
Cure4Living Either way his biggest mistake was not telling them about Chaos. It's best to tell someone the Truth the first time they ask, because if they find out the Truth from someone else it will be a hundred times worse than if you had just told them up front.
Emmett Leone-Woods well if he would have just told them think about those who would willing serve chaos to have a better life many would it would be crazy af
24:26 In one of the Horus Heresy books, I can't remember which one. It is suggested the Chaos Gods chose which planets they would land on. There was a conversation between two servants of Khorne and Tzeentch (I think it was Tzeentch) and they talked about why some Primarchs were chosen to land on the planets they landed on and not others. If I had to guess it was in Fear to Tread.
+Catasstrophy no you fool, metal for the rapening come on man, metal is truly the music of hate fucking. Even slaanesh bows to the might of metallic majesty!
You know, listening to this again gave me an idea. I recently watched a video that asked what exactly the Emperor is. One of the possibilities is that he is in fact, a god or godlike entity, but one separate from god in the sense of Chaos. But there is another possibility that this made me consider. You said the Warp is pure energy, neither good nor bad. Chaos represents not evil but disorder. What if big E represents order? when a storm on earth occurs, its due to an imbalance in the properties of the atmosphere. the storm persists until the imbalance is resolved. what if big E is the Warp balancing out? if the warp went to shit during the war in heaven the imbalance was building. the fall of the Eldar was the storm surge. Big E could then be the re-balance needed to resolve the cause of the storm; the Chaos gods. it would make sense then that he would be the Anathema in the most literal sense. he could have also discovered that purpose once he entered the portal on Molek.
I agree, I believe that the emperor was at least a demigod, and his whole secular emperial truth was his attempt at starving chaos. He knew gods where real prior to his crusade, he knew his imperial truth was in fact a lie..
Do you think you could make a 40k lore video on some of the 21st cursed founding chapters like the Minotaur's & Carcharodons? There is a lot of scattered information on the topic and I think you could present it quite well.
From The First Heretic Book: When Argel Tal of the Word Bearers was sent back in time by chaos and entered the facility of the Primarch Project. Argel Tal found that the entire facility was protected by the largest, most powerful Gellar field ever made. He cut though cables powering the Gellar field destroying it as well as his swords. This is how the Chaos Gods were able to cast out the Primarchs. It was not planned by the Empreror nor was it any accident.
Disagree. His greatest achievement was supposed to be the construction of the Golden Throne, which would have sealed off the universe from chaos and created a system that allows safe travel for the Imperial ships. Unfortunately though he got a dm while making it and the dm mighta blew it to pieces. Oh yeah also small thing. The primarch outdate the Golden Crusade because they were needed for the geneseed for the Astartes.
The original lore presented in the Compilation, was an off hand remark in the description of the Mk 1 Power armor. It was called thunder armor bearing the thunder symbol which was the pre equila symbol of the emperor. "Thunder Warrior" was a more of a catch phrase for Imperial warriors. The armor was contemporary in design and capabilities with the rest of the armies found on Terra and the (terra formed) Moon - mainly favored wrestling moves evidently (which was customary). A few suits of Mark 1 are still found as revered artifacts in founding chapter armories. The Mark 2's were developed for the first steps Great Crusade and don't look too far off of the mark 6 (beaked helmets). Of course this was written a good decade before the concept of the Thunder Warriors being something separate from Space Marines was even a sparkle in somebody's eye.
to me Guilliman and Dorn are the Greatest of the Primarchs they actually built empires and sought to maintain the Imperium OF MAN after the Emperor got interred on the golden throne Russ,Corax, and Jaghatai just fucked of to the warp and are Probably dead or have become the chaos gods fuck toys Curse them they just decided to leave and left Dorn and Rouboutte to maintain a galaxy spanning empire they are both dead and gone but they held true to the emperors IMPERIAL TRUTH
"What in the wolf did you just howlin' say about me, ya little milksop? I'll have you know I was throned the top of my tribe in the Kingdom of the Russ, and I've been involved in numerous executions of traitor primarchs, and I have over 300 million confirmed kills. I am trained in wolf warfare and I am the top CQC-expert in all of the Imperium. Ye' are NOTHIN' to me but just ANOTHER NANCY LIONLOVER BITCH." -Leman Russ
Blitzer Tac leading humanity toward the emperors flawed vision yes you want Dorn or Papa Smurf but to lead in the utter absence of imperial contact........Russ all the way.
16:14 my personal theory is that the Emperor knew Chaos was a thing, but wasn't aware that it was guided by the intelligence of the Chaos GODS. The shamans he had formed from had lived in a time before the chaos gods were a thing (Khorne formed in the middle ages, iirc), and had mostly dealt with proto-demons and warp beasts. So he knew that Chaos and the Warp were dangerous, but he thought of them like weather patterns or diseases: they can cause massive devastation, but they don't think and plan about it. It just kinda happens. At the same time, the Chaos Gods saw the Emperor as just another juicy candidate for bending to their will, perhaps Tzeentch given his tendency (at this stage) to work from the shadows. The idea that even the strongest psyker could truly pose a threat to chaos never even crossed their minds. So when the Emperor started to gather warp energy to form the Primarchs and met the chaos gods, it was a major eye-opener for both parties.
yomanyo327 judging by the fact that he lacks one arm, and is literally a chair bound quadriplegic skeleton with a glass eye, i'd say no. But that won't stop the custodes from brushing them.
The emperor himself was being created by a ritual that combined the souls of an unknown number of pykers, resulting in a super soul that was born as a regular human. I hypothesize that the primarks were created from splinters of the emperor’s own soul. As certain aspects of his own personality. He could only do 20 because he could not afford to spend more of his soul and he couldn’t create them with whatever personality he wanted because the splinter portion of soul had to match in to a functional character. When the primarks were sucked in to the wrap vortex inside his laboratory and drifted though the immaterium, the realm of ideas and thoughts, the composition of their souls subconsciously stirred towards worlds that were “in tune“ to them maybe the chaos gods “helped” in order to have a chance to corrupted them on their way to dominance over these worlds. May be the could have destroyed them but their ultimate goal was to bring down the Emperor and his plan to eradicate them. I bet they knew he would never ever came to the idea that his very own Soul would ever betray him. So if they were able to corrupt some of the primarks it be their best chance. That they took so much effort in this plan shows how treated they were by the emperor. Conquering the Galaxy pacify all worlds, destroy religion of any form and ban the use of pykic powers would have probably drained the chaos entity’s dry. At the point in time when everyone in the galaxy would have forgotten about them they would have sensed to exist (unfortunately that meant that all of the Eldar would have to be put to death as well since they would never forget) But look how well it worked. The imperium as it is in the forty-first millennium is the perfect breeding ground and play garden for chaos. Religious believe, powerful enough to shape the immaterium is everywhere. The Galaxy is constantly immerged in pain and suffering, bloodshed, death and corruption. There is only war. The chaos gods won 10000 years ago and now there just toying with their pray. I see 3 ways to get out of it: First the Eldar way. Kill the entirety of the galaxy and chaos will cease to exist. Second the tyrranid way: Eat the galaxy and move on --> same outcome. or the most difficult way continue the emperors plan with or without him. Every thing else will just keep the game of chaos gong.
Arch, you have the best by far, lore videos on RUclips for Warhammer Fantasy and 40k. I do love your stuff. HOWEVER I do have one criticism. It has nothing to do with content, but more to do with you mastery of making a compelling statement in your video and then stating "but that is a point for another day / video". And then never making said video to expound on that point. And again this is not a harsh criticism, it is merely to say that I want more videos, more often! :) And yes I am well aware of your personal time constraints and production costs. And I appreciate all that you produce. I guess what I am trying to say is that I am an addict that is not getting their "fix" as often as one would like. Have a good day. :) Edit: #blamelorgar
It's an interesting decision to treat a subject that is entirely fictional like it is factual and has actually happened, or will actually happen more like. It makes it all the more intriguing and fun to listen to I guess. Anyway, your warhammer videos are always a delight to watch. So keep up the good work!
+MrMortull Well, they're playable(At least to SOME extent) in Battlefleet Gothic, as mercenaries in the service of the Tau, along with Kroot. They're also fucking overpowered with their Prow Cutting Beams. "Demiurg Brotherhood responding." Also, Battlefleet Gothic is fucking amazing and captures the essence of 40k perfectly and everyone who is even REMOTELY interested in 40k should give it a try.
There was a part during the conversation of the emperor and the last priest on earth regarding things gestating in his underground laboratory to use to conquer the galaxy.
One way you can improve is by not just doing a long ass 30 minute video with one picture show us some pictures about the subject matter you're currently covering.
29:46 didn't you tell in some other video that E wasn't that genocidal concerning aliens as long as they were no threat to the humanity and the whole xeno scum exterminatus thing started way after he took a seat?
If I recall corectly. In old canon there were some metions that Emperor gained his knowledge to make Primarch from Chaos Gods. That's how Gods got knowledge of Primarch project. Another thing is. If chaos gods knew emperor as Anatema and gained knowledge of his primarch project, why they only scattered primarchs instead of destroing them with whole project? It was not some demon incursion but Chaos portal opened that snuffed primarchs and scattered them. With all the power Gods hold over immaterium they could land those primarchs on dead worlds, void, xeno worlds or much much different time. But they safetly landed on human inhabited planets, that even suited theire in builded traits like with Magnus, Sanguinius, or Leman Russ. We are told that it was Chaos Gods attempt to set back emperor in his conquest. But end point is that it created pockets of well organised areas ready to be incorporated during Great Crusade. Is that not suspicious that gods failed so much, it almost look like it supported emperor plan?
thanks for a great video arch. Speaking of the two we never speak of, considering they were used purely for those who wanted to create custom legions, have any of you created a custom legion? If so then tell me what they were below, I tend to love fan content considering that fans actually care for the series they're fans of.
Arch, don't blame golden child Lorgargler, blame instead his vainglorious adoptive father/kidnapping old creep, Keeper of the Faith, Kor Phaeron, and blame also the sniveling, worm-tongued, first son of Chaos, self-named, Hand of Destiny, a.k.a., First Chaplain, Erebus. Besides, Lorgar suffered from affluenza, a very potent disease of the mind.
It's not that they were "guided" per sey... just that they were going to be drawn to a matching warp energy signature. So the fact that they were drawn to worlds almost tailor made for them is a cause of why the were there. The only thing that explains travel to populated worlds at that distance is that their presence IS the explination.
there is more information on how the emperor fought chaos before the age of strife in several of the short stories. On the subject of who came first I suspect that the Castodias came first and that the thunder warriors were the first attempt at mass producing an army. While the thunder warriors were in ways similar to the Castodians unlike astartes the thunder warriors had no singular genetic base template for their gene enhancements or said enhancements where based on the flawed human gene pool of earth. The primarchs where I think intended for the roles and missions you stayed but I suspect the original intent was for them to lead armies of Thunder warriors into battle. I also think that the emperor tried to fix the Thunder warriors but in a mirror of Lore and Data found the problem to complex and proceeded to the next logical step which turned out to be the space marines.
Trump is a buffoon but Hillary is a blood thirst evil woman suported by all the military companys . The European media is trying too discredit Trump 24/7 , they treat him worst than Putin xD
wasnt there some prof that the scattering was pratial controlled. i dont remember the name of the book but, i think its the night hunter who is told, that he was supposte to go to Nocturne, and vulkan was to arrive on Nostramo, but the chaos gods change their distination....
Why do all of my favorite youtubers have to bring up politics all the time? I hear enough about that at work (I live in a heavy Trump area where everyone needs to make their opinion your business).
Yeah, that annoyed me as well. Hillary wasn't my favorite candidate, but if she's a Chaos God, she's Tzeentch to Trump's Slaanesh. We're not in a good place right now.
One idea that supports arch's theory on the idea that whatever scattered the Primarchs was part Chaos and part Imperial in nature is that when the pods were scattered they were drawn to planets where the populations psychic emanations closet resembled their own minds, either via the Emperor guide the pods after the warp storm or Chaos' psychic nature connecting them to those populations. Hence why the pods ended up on planets with some kind of population as opposed to deep space. These could have been the worlds the Emperor intended his sons to draw their legions from in the future. Hence why Russ would end up on a savage, feral world, Magnus would end up on a world full of psykers, Angron on a world stocked with murderers and gladiators, ect. And it would explain why some of the Primarchs would have their worldviews fulfilled and others distorted and changed. Arch does a great job combining actual history and sociology with all these science fiction theories. JT
Fantastic information Arch. I have just recently decided to explore deeper into the Warhammer 40k universe as previously I focused on reading only the old world novels and playing their respective games. The Horus Heresy series has been fascinating and while perusing novels at Barnes and Noble the other day I saw a Space Wolf omnibus by William King that looked promising but it got me wondering if there are any novels that delve into Leman Russ and his life as a primarch. Much love and thanks for your time.
two points. I always thought the emperor created the stable portal and forced a confrontation with chaos as more of a confirmation of his suspicions. prior to that event he had worked in the material world and had "whispering" from chaos. My thoughts where that he was aware of them and wanted to confirm his feelings before committing to a plan of action. the second theory I had was that the organized spreading of the emperor's sons was a split second intervention on his part when the separation occurred. he couldn't prevent their departure but he guided their destinations.
In the "Pharos" book they basically confirm that the Emperor himself planned to scatter the primarchs on their various different homeworlds through Curzes dialogue with Sanguinius (and that probably all of the Heresy is part of the Emperors plan). What do you think about that?
Yuvath gate? The godemperor _was_ looking at making the equivalent of autonomous roomba he could program to clean up his galaxy and needed a power source.
When were the the adeptus astartes first put into production? The cost-cutting theory to the thunder warriors could be spot on as not even the emperor can make something from nothing. It may have been that during the Unification of Terra he could not spare the resources into producing and training the astartes who are very conditioned warriors as opposed to the thunder warrior who fought almost entirely on instinct and thus saved much time in becoming battle ready if nothing else. Probably fewer implants too. 9:55 - An Emprah did it. 24:10 - #BlameLorgar 26:25 - obviously "reasons we don't know about" really is "because vagina" since, as it is well known, space marines must have exclusively floppy reproductive organs (I couldn't keep a straight face typing that, ashamed). 28:25 - >50% losses is quite horrible. especially when most of the remainder isn't exactly up to the target bar. let's see. . . Russ, Lion'el (though maybe only half for him), Corax, Vulcan, and Jaghatai. Could argue half for the Alpharius Omegon as well since we have no idea what they're really up to. So about 5 of 20. . . 75% casualties. And only one or two of those five were really as good as hoped. Oh, wait, Dorn might be around still too. Did I miss anyone else. . ? Can't think of any.
Maybe the teleportation was a feature designed by The Emperor, only it was triggered somewhat improperly and immaturely by the chaos. Primarchs might have been meant to develop in proper conditions under oversight of the emperor, and only after that they were supposed to be spread teleported throughout the galaxy. Maybe the guidance system was made to guide to any imperial planet of your choice and 20 planets were just picked at random, or perhaps even handpicked by some chaos god or such.
In horus heresy the 2nd book. Horus get teleported during his treatment against the laer blade by erebus on the laboratory of primarch and is repeled by the emperor, the warp then take all the primarch etc.
The Emperors influence on the age of technology is quite plausible as he may have had an idea or suspiscion of the threat of Chaos and its link to superstition etc. long before he knew any details. About the thought that one or more national leaders is a Chaos god (or worshiper thereof), that would explain some of the leaders we have seen in human history.
I do like the thought of that each Primarch was made for a certain purpose. Makes me kinda want to think about what were each of their purpose in the Emperor’s grand plan.
i thought one of the missing ones was chosen as thePrimarch of the grey knights and therefore thats the reason hes not in records as that entire chapter was removed until the first date in which they return which was when they were needed
Do you think the primarchs ending up on human worlds could've had something to do with them being somehow imbued with the will to lead people and thus being subconsciously drawn to human worlds with people similar to them as they passed through the wrap?
It is mentioned in Vengeful Spirit that The Emperor went to Molech millennia before He appeared there ahead of the Great Crusade. Also Horus didn't "steal" the Chaos God's powers, The Emperor did, Horus however, earned it by fighting in the Warp for the various Gods. The Emperor and Horus both apparently spent about 300 years in the Warp however only seconds had passed in the Material realm.
To be fair to angron he DID have a peice of technology desinged to make him angry and savage forcible put in his brain by the rulers of the planet he landed on, it could not be safely removed and made his decisions worse.
Can a chaos mutation only be given to a willing host? Or can it be given to anyone at anytime? If that's so, the. What's stopping Khorne from giving vast chunks of empire soldiers tentacles growing out of their faces?
I always thought the golden age of tech was ruined by chaos, specifically corruption of all the AI, and not predicted by big E. I think after that he decided to find out just what kind of creatures caused this he went to find out why. I suspect when they told him why, for food and sport, he got pissed as hell.
were their any records on terra or elsewhere in the solar system regarding the locations of human inhabited worlds? i have never thought about it before but the crusade must have had at least a rough idea of where to look as by all accounts the milky way is quite large and contains lots of stars and planets.

one thing I have always wondered but no one has ever mentioned is...the Old ones were Masters of designing life forms , what if when the Emperor went into the Warp portal , what if he found an Old one Laboratory hidden away inside the Warp , perhaps the "chaos power" he made a deal with was one of the Last old ones ?

Anonymous247n Well my little friend. Maybe we will hear the lore on other primarchs in the year 35765, when we serve as Servoheads on behalf of commisars. Arch nowadays has more "hinted at" lore videos open, than money in his bank account.

Ok thats a fucking cool name.
Lucas Ayres thanks, you know what Krieg means?
I find it amusing that Arch's comment section often may as well be that of Text to Speech Device.
Venalitor you are so right
Particularly about Rogal's Magic Pain Glove.
Venalitor we're 40k fans; shitposting and legit conversation are our only two settings
keep it up arch! I love your videos. always interesting, and I personally find them extremely calming/relaxinf
Emmett Leone-Woods if they had known the truth then A LOT of people would join out of selfishness. Humans being selfish and curious creatures
Mann Tau I'd say you'd be better off without those people. Let them weed themselves out.
I think it was meant to weaken them not destroy them
Emmett Leone-Woods well if he would have just told them think about those who would willing serve chaos to have a better life many would it would be crazy af
thank you all mighty Arch, your ramblings leave much to go on :) Nurgle is love, Nurgle is life ;)
I would love to see a Primarch series done by Arch where he goes into detail about them like his Konrad Curze video
You make so ficking good lore video's
+Catasstrophy no you fool, metal for the rapening come on man, metal is truly the music of hate fucking. Even slaanesh bows to the might of metallic majesty!
Everybody knows the God Emperor is the way to go.
If you disagree with that opinion, you'll get shot.
By me.
I'm not a fan of Space Communism and sneaky Ethereal manipulation, but your Earth Caste is BADASS.
“They were also statesmen, philosophers, craftsmen, and judges.”
And one serial killer (Konrad Curze)…
#Blamelogar
You had one job.
Lorgar*
Very nice , always fun to listen to lore with your colorful explanations !
off topic but am I wrong in saying this that chaos is basically a reset button for warhammer?
Again, no mention of Thunder Lords. Is it deliberate or just an oversight?
Hieronymus Rhodes agreed...HUH!?!
*****
Thunder warriors' leaders, proto-primarchs you might even say.
You're my favorite lore guy right after bruva alfabusa
to me Guilliman and Dorn are the Greatest of the Primarchs they actually built empires and sought to maintain the Imperium OF MAN after the Emperor got interred on the golden throne Russ,Corax, and Jaghatai just fucked of to the warp and are Probably dead or have become the chaos gods fuck toys Curse them they just decided to leave and left Dorn and Rouboutte to maintain a galaxy spanning empire they are both dead and gone but they held true to the emperors IMPERIAL TRUTH
Abbadon380 ye would say that ya traitorous milksop! Have ye no wooooolves?
"What in the wolf did you just howlin' say about me, ya little milksop? I'll have you know I was throned the top of my tribe in the Kingdom of the Russ, and I've been involved in numerous executions of traitor primarchs, and I have over 300 million confirmed kills. I am trained in wolf warfare and I am the top CQC-expert in all of the Imperium. Ye' are NOTHIN' to me but just ANOTHER NANCY LIONLOVER BITCH."
-Leman Russ
You forgot The Lion, he wasn't the best socialite, but he fought bloody hard for the Imperium
Blitzer Tac leading humanity toward the emperors flawed vision yes you want Dorn or Papa Smurf but to lead in the utter absence of imperial contact........Russ all the way.
you forget the Angel who was a less powerful Emperor figure
Wait so Russ isn't a space Viking? It's just him playing his part, so what's he really like then?
Zeno Blues "A Furry Fuck!!!"
-Magnus the Red
Commissar Thomas
😂
That is the best
he was still a space viking, but he knew he was just a cog in the machine.
A furry.
Zeno Blues basically someone who tried to kill Magnus the red. And that furry fuck DID NOT SUCCEED
Mmmmm, making my Friday all sorts of awesome. Thanks Arch!
does the emperor need to wash his teeth?
yomanyo327 judging by the fact that he lacks one arm, and is literally a chair bound quadriplegic skeleton with a glass eye, i'd say no. But that won't stop the custodes from brushing them.
Mitchell Amadeus Shatterhead they'll brush some other things too😏😏😏
James.T .Adams please leave pillar man.
(reference to the customs in tts)
At the point in time when everyone in the galaxy would have forgotten about them they would have sensed to exist (unfortunately that meant that all of the Eldar would have to be put to death as well since they would never forget)
But look how well it worked.
I see 3 ways to get out of it:
First the Eldar way. Kill the entirety of the galaxy and chaos will cease to exist.
Second the tyrranid way: Eat the galaxy and move on --> same outcome.
or the most difficult way continue the emperors plan with or without him.
Every thing else will just keep the game of chaos gong.
i feel like i am in a school again but more fun xD
Love going back an re watching these videos, and commenting again to help the channel recoup from the hack
Vent.... Du er norsk?? Mind = Blown
Imponerende dialekt Arch 😂
Post 40k lore more often please! I love to listen to it.
lorgar was not the problem, Erebus is the badboy

PRAISE THE SEVENTEENTH! PRAISE AURELIAN!
It's an interesting decision to treat a subject that is entirely fictional like it is factual and has actually happened, or will actually happen more like. It makes it all the more intriguing and fun to listen to I guess. Anyway, your warhammer videos are always a delight to watch. So keep up the good work!
what if malice gave the emperor the knowledge
shadowfox2300 He doesn't exist, stop talking about it.
*Chants* Malal, Squats, Zoats...

For real? I'd love to have my Space Dwarves back.

Well, they're playable(At least to SOME extent) in Battlefleet Gothic, as mercenaries in the service of the Tau, along with Kroot.
They're also fucking overpowered with their Prow Cutting Beams.
"Demiurg Brotherhood responding."
Also, Battlefleet Gothic is fucking amazing and captures the essence of 40k perfectly and everyone who is even REMOTELY interested in 40k should give it a try.
There was a part during the conversation of the emperor and the last priest on earth regarding things gestating in his underground laboratory to use to conquer the galaxy.
The CNN and Clinton comments earned my subscription.
3:15 Constable Kurze on duty... that would've been pretty cool.
One way you can improve is by not just doing a long ass 30 minute video with one picture show us some pictures about the subject matter you're currently covering.
He usually does. He said he got lazy on this one.
Glad to hear it.
29:46 didn't you tell in some other video that E wasn't that genocidal concerning aliens as long as they were no threat to the humanity and the whole xeno scum exterminatus thing started way after he took a seat?
I too identify as a blue whale ^^
Calimero Hœnir
Your profile pic tells us as such
Heretic!
Hail Sanguinius!
The most perfect of Primarches!
daddys fabolous hawk boy died for papa emps
The right way to go.
Indeed, except he died to FUCKING HORUS!
I'll support a guy both noble and badass enough to break a Bloodthirster's spine over his knee any day. Damned shame that Horus got the better of him.
thanks for a great video arch. Speaking of the two we never speak of, considering they were used purely for those who wanted to create custom legions, have any of you created a custom legion? If so then tell me what they were below, I tend to love fan content considering that fans actually care for the series they're fans of.
I couldn't NOT hit like when you likened Clinton to a Chaos god.
LordDemosair clintinious, chaos god of bitchyness, lies, and feminism
Arch, don't blame golden child Lorgargler, blame instead his vainglorious adoptive father/kidnapping old creep, Keeper of the Faith, Kor Phaeron, and blame also the sniveling, worm-tongued, first son of Chaos, self-named, Hand of Destiny, a.k.a., First Chaplain, Erebus. Besides, Lorgar suffered from affluenza, a very potent disease of the mind.
another great vid arch
#BlameLogar
It's not that they were "guided" per sey... just that they were going to be drawn to a matching warp energy signature.
So the fact that they were drawn to worlds almost tailor made for them is a cause of why the were there.
The only thing that explains travel to populated worlds at that distance is that their presence IS the explination.
#blamelogar
there is more information on how the emperor fought chaos before the age of strife in several of the short stories.
So, is Arch a Trump supporter? Or does he just dislike Clinton and Trump both?
they are both terrible but Clinton is just worse,
Why do you say that?
Cuz he's right.
That description describes both pretty well.
Are you sure Trump isn't Nurgle?
One idea that supports arch's theory on the idea that whatever scattered the Primarchs was part Chaos and part
Imperial in nature is that when the pods were scattered they were drawn to planets where the populations
psychic emanations closet resembled their own minds, either via the Emperor guide the pods after the warp
storm or Chaos' psychic nature connecting them to those populations. Hence why the pods ended up on
planets with some kind of population as opposed to deep space. These could have been the worlds the
Emperor intended his sons to draw their legions from in the future.
Hence why Russ would end up on a savage, feral world, Magnus would end up on a world full of psykers,
Angron on a world stocked with murderers and gladiators, ect. And it would explain why some of the
Primarchs would have their worldviews fulfilled and others distorted and changed.
Arch does a great job combining actual history and sociology with all these science fiction theories.
JT
Just in time to see this and the announcement of the burning of Prospero!!
The godemperor _was_ looking at making the equivalent of autonomous roomba he could program to clean up his galaxy and needed a power source.
great video Arch
The Emperor went to Molech long before the great crusade as per the HH novel the Vengeful Spirit
Love your vids Arch!
You are norwegian? Cool. You and BM are probably the best exports of that country.
24:10 - #BlameLorgar
26:25 - obviously "reasons we don't know about" really is "because vagina" since, as it is well known, space marines must have exclusively floppy reproductive organs (I couldn't keep a straight face typing that, ashamed).
Nope, loyalists from the traitor legions.
Learn from Logar kids, chaos is a gateway drug.
To be fair to angron he DID have a peice of technology desinged to make him angry and savage forcible put in his brain by the rulers of the planet he landed on, it could not be safely removed and made his decisions worse.
People often seem to forget that Big E also had several teams of scientists helping him with the Primarchs/Astartis
