Very interesting video report on this hotel. We stayed there (so many years ago that I can't remember) before it had the modern extension and was re-branded. Our room overlooked the original building's entrance. Amazing to see the transformation. The rooms even have a coffee maker now - when we were there, if you wanted tea or coffee, in true 5 star fashion, you simply phoned for it and they brought it up (personally, I prefer to make it myself - much quicker).
Great video. We loved watching. We had actually been looking at staying at this hotel and your video popped up.🙂 It looks beautiful. The borders are beautiful. Thanks for sharing.💙🏴
How exciting, congratulations you guys!! 🎉 💍 ❤ We didn’t get to visit the Scottish borders but it seems lovely! Great tips on the Hyatt card, gonna check that out 😊 that first hotel looked amazing!
So glad I found your video!! Thanks for sharing!! Do you think the courtyard suite is worth it for 24k a night in points? We have 2 kiddos and it looks like it’s the only room we can stay in there without two rooms. Your view looked like it was a view of the parking lot lol so I wonder if maybe it’s a little steep if we want to stay a few nights. What do you think?!
You're welcome and happy to have you here! From our point of view, the spa made the splurge 100% worth it, as that's where we spent most of our time. If you don't think you'll get a lot of use out of it, then I'd say it's probably not worth it. And yep, you're right. Our first room looked out on a cobblestone parking area, which no one used as a parking place, so it wasn't too bad. Then our second room looked over a different parking area and into a field which was beautiful at sunset. Either way hope you and the kiddos have a good trip!
Congratulations on getting engaged, you too are made for each other! Love the vlog too

@@DH.2016 wow! That’s so neat. You’ll have to go back now that they’ve made some updates. We agree on the coffee comment too!
So cool! Phenomenal intro + video footage (and teaser about staying for free) 😬 Congrats on the engagement, y'all!
