Just tested the bike for like just 50meters so didn't wear any gear. Always wear protective gears when riding guys. You'll never know when you'll gonna need it.
Nice ride. My son and buddy both have the exact ride in black, excellent around town rides. I have an '08 Vulcan 1600. She looks the same in profile but much heavier.

Apart from power department, this bike is excellent. the elegance of this bike are close to non existent, simply put: the vulcan s has absolutely no personality and its hard to get attached to a bike that doesnt have a character and personality. If you just want a beginner bike that you will keep for a year or less and you are usually a person that likes adrenaline, dopamine and fun stuff, you probably will want another bike than this one.

I'm 6'3 and with the forward control extender and seat extender I'm super comfortable
