I have 09 custom with Vance and Hines staggered, a cobra intake, mustang seats, Memphis shades fairing and a tuner. Very nice bike - love the ride, and the sound and plenty fast for me.
The 900 Custom and 900 LT were both great bikes. Drama free, fun to ride. We have a 05 Nomad we bought new. Love it. Looking at one of the 900s to add to stable. Great 'go to' bike. Nice bike, Kaplan.
I rented one of these while on a trip to Latvia. Not as weighty and cumbersome as my M1800R back home, and plenty enough power. Nice low seat and narrower width makes it easy to flat foot at the lights. I found it easy to ride so I could enjoy everything else, and that skinny front wheel is a cool stand out feature that sets it apart when it’s lined up amongst the others. I’d definitely choose it again.
I remember when I was trying to decide between the Vulcan 900 custom and the V Star 950. The 950's are harder to find used, I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing but some people say the 950 vibrates out of control on the highway and aren't fans of it being air cooled. The Vulcan custom has always looked better.
It’s bikes like this that make me wish more people got onto the Japanese cruiser train. They’re kind of dying out it seems, to where not many new models are coming out as there use to be
Im looking for my first bike. I can’t go too small, I am 6 foot tall, 250 lbs. Will this be too much bike to start? I am looking at a used 09 one Vulcan 900
I'm 5'8 and 180 lbs, my first bike is a 2011 vulcan 900 custom special edition. You'll be fine, these bikes have a reputation as being great first bikes
Were I lives if you don’t have a Harley they have nothing to do with you but pull them with Toyotas I had a Kawasaki and a 1600 road star Yamaha love both never had any problems

I bought an 08 that was fully de baffled. The 900 with de baffled stock pipes sounds pretty good

They were great bikes, that I remember, especially for somebody, that wanted a high quality Japanese Cruiser.
Is this bike still available?
Love it

👍👍👍
Хочу такие же сапоги
When you said it was shaft drive, you were thinking Honda VTX.
My 2001 Vulcan 1500 is shaft driven 👍🏾

its NOT shaft driven as you said, ts belt driven
I've seen a few of these disguised as Hogs 🇬🇧🤣
For some odd reason, I like the 800 Custom better. With the right set of pipes, you can make it sound just like a Harley.
I own one and really like it. Just to slow
