  • Lou played the Pohoda festival July 5th 2012 on the last tour he ever got to undertake. Hitting Slovakia for the first time ever, and at top billing, i was curious as to how the Slovaks would welcome his uncompromising hardcore world-kind-of-music. It wasn`t exactly made more accessible by the inclusion of the Metallica collaboration "Lulu" on this tour. "From VU to Lulu" the tour was aptly named and a 10-piece-band of 3 guitars, brass, violin, and a PC-geek supplied all the magical cacophony one could fear and wish for. Its fair to say that the band`s treatment of the wierd Lulu-stuff made it all make sense. Regrettably I didn`t start shooting until the 2nd song Heroin and i lost a couple in the middle too, yet here mixed in from a Germany show, but its mostly all here; inlucing a thunderstorm so perfectly timed it seemed part of the sinister show. Lou the bandleader shone bright this night, grooving, bopping, one eye shut, he could bareley keep any one song under the 10 minutes jam-gong. Neither him nor the fans wanted to stop the freighttrain that was the Lou Reed band on this blessed night. The music was jazzy on Senselessly Cruel (from Rock`n Roll Heart) but mostly frantic and loud, piledriving both ground and air, and i was surprised to see the big crowd holding their ground during this highly independent sonic assault. Infact the Slovaks embraced the heavy avantgarde music and cheerfully followed the band wherever they went - and they did go all over the place. Hats off to the keen appreciative and open minded crowd, and to the Master and band for breaking all sorts of new ground on this last tour de force rock`n roll.

I have had several bouts with morphine due to being shot in the back and am convinced that heroin never leaves the mind. Only the body kicks. After many months of morphine running through the blood I can and only care to imagine.
Look at the time, my next dose of Ativan is due.

I've heard benzos (ativan) are even harder to kick. My suggestion would be kratom. It's totally legal in most states, natural, cheap, and wd's are minimal with a proper taper.
