OFHG next? Thanks for the video guys. This would be a good time to inspect Vanos covers for failure and to inspect the valve cover for finish failure as if the finish is failing, a gasket replacement may not be a fix for leaks.
So I figured I’d watch and get pointers on doing my 2007 N54 valve cover gasket. Well one year made a world of difference in the engine configuration and components. My valve cover is way easier to get to than a this M3. Good video though.

@fcpeuro how many miles are on this M3? Mine just started with a slight leak at 65k and it's a 2010.
While you are in there, do the timing cover gasket.
