- Guangzhounan (Guangzhou South) railway station (Chinese: 广州南站) is located in Shibi, Panyu District, Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, China. It is a large modern rail terminal 17 kilometers (11 mi) south of central Guangzhou. For a brief time, it was Asia's largest railway station (by area) when it officially started operation in early 2010.

@@maulshreegupta9290bruh. China is worlds 3rd largest land. Still they are not satisfied and want more and more. Moreover they can easily allocate large lands for station. In india its not impossible but doesnt happen due to Reasons. Now a days people do too much show off. That land can be used in something else and the station land should be as required. For example you can live in 2bedroom apartment but to show off to people you live in 100 bedroom apartment alone. Does it make sense? Also in india they cant allocate such large lands for everything as india is way way smaller than china

West has to accept the reality and move ahead the path instead of nitpicking China.
Public transport should not be privatized & have minimum fare.
The investment cost should not be included in the fare .The fare should be based on Running cost only so the fare will be minimum & affodable.

Guang Zhou Baiyun ralway station now is under construction ,when finish in 3 years ,it will be 6 times larger than Guang zhou south railways station
