The whole damn book is about britney. She mentions her on damn near every page. And every interview has been about BRITNEY.

I honestly can't wait til the day Britney is ready to do a sit down interview 😩 the amount of exposing she's gonna do on that whole family will be insane. 1000% agree with Adrienne. No need to share your sister’s darkest time to the public. Especially with what her sister has gone through. She is family and if you really love and respect her you’re gonna leave her name out of your book instead of spilling out everything then afterwards going on a book tour trying to clear your name after the damage has been done.

The book mentioned Britney at least 240 times which is probably 90% of the book. The book is definitely about Britney.
Jamie Lynn is still affiliated with a lot of the people that did Britney wrong - which Britney called out in one of her recent responses. So she's not even standing with Britney now after everything. Whoever told her to do a press tour was definitely setting her up.
Like I get she was a pregnant teen dealing with stuff, but it's been 14 years. She has had plenty of time to ask questions and read up on what was happening to her sister since it was playing out publicly in the media and within her family - not to mention she could've just spent more time with Britney herself. The naivety excuse became invalid a long time ago.

I’m with Adrienne! We don’t know if what she’s saying in the book is truth or even HER truth. And she is doing multiple interviews discussing her sister and not her story.
I can confirm that there are parts of Jamie Lynn's book where she is lying about a former co-star named Alexa, who played Nicole on Zoey 101, along with Alexa's mom. Furthermore Alexa has done an interview with a youtuber called Sloan4 talking about her experience on the show and what it was like working with Jamie, who along with the rest of the cast, bullied Alexa for no reason when comparing the lies in the book.
Jamie lynn was stirring it up she betrayed Alexa. At first she apologised when Alexa was pregnant and she thought that they were on good terms but what Jamie wrote about Alexa was all lies honestly Alexa just got betrayed again. We were all fooled that Jamie was trying to make amends and we were blinded from seeing her true self

Unpopular opinion: Jamie Lynn has the right to tell her story of how she was traumatized just like Britney has the right to tell her side. I know Britney is upset about her conservatorship and I have sympathy for her. However, but she keeps attacking her family on social media How long are they suppose to stay silent and not give their side of the story. Plus, It is not easy for a lot of people that have relatives who suffer from mental illness.

At the least, Jamie Lynn could’ve been there for her during that time and not betrayed Britney for money and whatever else she got. To write about your sister in an unflattering way when she’s going through a global trauma is grotesque. How is this even a debate? She’s been sold out and betrayed by almost everyone around her including her little sister. To say she’s just telling her truth is such a muddy excuse. The media is not focusing on the fact that she had a hit tv show and it ended when she became pregnant at 16. Seem like they both had it rough with their parents. The entire conservatorship is a scam in the first place and public court documents are already proving that. We may not see her medical records (which I believe should be kept private), but do you really think that a truly mentally disabled person would go on world tours and release back to back albums and even star in a How I Met Your Mother episode just months after being under a 5150 hold?

The issue with yall are saying is, after fact checking the book with legal documents, its been proven shes lying. Shes also recording interviews in the home of the woman responsible for the situation she was stuck in for years. Adrienne right in this one. This is off topic a bit, but I respect and admire how Garcelle KINDLY told Adrienne she loves that her family wouldn’t try to clear their name for the public and just keep it private, but also reminded her everyone does not have that same loyalty or mindset. Garcelle even mentioned she wished her family had a bond like that! Just enjoyed how she reminded Adrienne to see things from both lenses, which is what we all need to hear at times.

I feel like Jamie-Lynn has every right to tell her life story. Just as much as anyone else. But the timing of it is very suspicious and Britney just got her life back. This back and forth on social media between them is awful and these seem like conversations she should have been having with Britney before publishing a book. Also for someone who wants so bad to prove she isn’t and was never riding on the coattail of her sisters success, she sure is talking about her sister a lot.
The timing was planned over a year before the conservatorship ending.

Unpopular opinion: I really feel, deep within my intuition, that both of these girls have been pit against each other for YEARS! I think people are looking at this at a very surface level. What I noticed in the interviews and through the messages Britney has put out on social media, these two girls are very bitter towards each other and in a way I doubt is organic. I feel like the entire source of all this turmoil within the family all lies with their dad. He messed both of those girls up, and fed them both two different stories of reality in my opinion. I can see why Jaime feels like she needs attention because she never got it growing up it was always about Britney. And obviously I can see why Britney feels upset because her whole life was taken from her from greedy, selfish people. The whole situation is just sad.
Or moreso is that they are finally facing their traumas and issues, and haven't yet faced one another. Britney hasn't t had the opportunity to say or do anything until now (she was about the same age as what Jamie is now when put under conservatorship or younger) and Jamie was too young at the time and so now that the opportunity has risen it's kind of like a volcano. Britney is only responding to what's being said and we have to remember that. She has never controlled the narrative, as we saw 2007 media just went and destroyed her without any facts. As much as Jamie wants to tell "her truth", if u actually cared u would post pone release and discuss details first. Jaime ruined his own career and in the book he doesn't mention anything about his pregnancy. There is a lot of public information Jaime and if we compare what he wrote in his book you will realize that Jaime is an opportunist. This is not a matter of having bad parents, this is a matter of doing the right thing because if you are a good person, it does not matter how broken your family is, that does not correspond to you, but Jaime is pure poison.

Agree with Adrienne. You don't need to include anyone in "your story" it's about you. She could have said vaguely mentioned they had issues- but not in the context she used in her book. There is no need to clear your story when apparently she claims to not have been around Britney not have ANY knowledge of her conservatorship that her life has been controlled by for 13 years. We know who is genuine and who is not on this tv show.
If I hear "my story" or "my truth" one more time, I may get physically ill.
Everyone is entitled to their TrUtH. HOWEVER, if you have an ounce of respect for the people you claim to love, then you keep on living your life without disclosing anything that they told you in confidence.

No one’s perspective of their childhood will be the same even if two siblings had a seemingly perfect family. I understand both sides. Jamie Lynn wanted to tell her story. Both of their upbringings were extremely toxic and they both have major trauma.

I 100% agree with Adrienne, even if she started writing this book months before her conservatorship ended she as the writer had the options to pause production and wait to release it or even take things out. She could’ve waited for things to calm down for her sister since everything was so public and fresh.. but she didn’t and going on different interviews to talk about her truth, like really?? You couldn’t wait to patch things up with your sister, even let her get her story out first. She had to of known whatever little bit she wrote about her sister would get blown up.
I agree with Adrienne. People talk too much in the vain of “telling their truth”. Words can be incredibly hurtful and a lot of times it’s better practice loyalty and preserve familial bonds. But I’m this social media age a lot of people don’t get that.

Not everybody’s family is close like Adrienne’s. My oldest sister who is 20 years older than me, abused me when I was a toddler. She always beat me and also burnt my fingers on her gas stove. I was 2-3 years old and still remember vividly. I wrote a book back in 2017 and I did include that experience as it contributed to the child I was and the adult I eventually became. She does not talk to me anyway so I only heard through people that she was upset that I put that in my book. But like Garcelle said, it was MY story and it happened. I don’t know what happened between Brittney and her sister. But I can’t imagine my sister being famous and people telling me that my experience with her never happened or that I shouldn’t talk about it. Let people share their story.

@@vqzen7562 My book was my testimony and not for revenue. I actually gave out many free copies. And it has helped others heal and forgive as I shared how I was able to forgive my offenders, my sister included. I forgave her years ago so I have no ill feelings toward her as I understand that she was young and hurting. You may be one of those people from the old days who say, “whatever happens at home stays at home” which causes people to protect others at their own expense. This is why there are so many hurting adults walking around still holding on to things that happened to them when they were 4 or 5 years old. Remaining quiet is not the answer. Journaling, while that helps, is not the end-all be-all. You have no idea how many people came to me after reading my book ready to have those difficult conversations with people who hurt them so that they can begin their healing and forgiveness process. Some even wanting to tell their own stories.
The wonderful thing for you is that my life, my “truth”, and my book have nothing to do with you. May you be blessed.

Same here - was always told you don’t air your family issues- unless you’re in therapy/ counseling and that remains private. If you’re able to one day you can even sit down and talk to the person directly - and maybe that will heal some of the damage. I personally did it with my father even though it took 5 years of not seeing him at all. That time allowed me to mature emotionally and get some issues off my chest. Just hope around these 2 hurting women are people that can support them emotionally. 🙏

I'm with Adrienne! So far with this whole Britney situation, it has been made clear of what Jamie-Lynn is doing and this book is another form of trying to get her way. Britney has been used and abused by her family for over a decade, and her sister has been in on it. The timing of the book, the contents, and everything seem suspicious; I would go far as to say that the book was pre-written just in case things didn't right in their evil plans. I am getting the vibe that their sister-hood is definitely broken and they have both been pitted against each other for as long as they've been famous; although they are adults, I put responsibility over their parents for creating the messy situation

The only thing I don't like about this Jamie situation is that I think people forget just how much has gone on, how much younger Jamie is, and having a baby at 16 as a teen actress and what came with that . Then it's always been said that a much older producer was inappropriate with her. By no means am I saying she's totally innocent and didn't advantage of the circumstances. I'm just saying all parts should be considered, in my opinion. Edit: I’d like to see Adrienne back off when it comes to what she thinks. At times she can be so overbearing, trying to force them to think the same way as her. In this case it was to the point she wasn’t listening at all.
