The part that annoys me the most in all of this is when Damon Albarn says in his apology that the article was reduced to clickbait when he's quoted actually saying "Taylor Swift? She doesn't write her own songs", but then he goes on to say Billie Eillish is an incredible songwriter, but Billie also co-writes with her brother. I just don't get it
I’m pretty sure he was talking about the different types of co-writing but he didn’t elaborate, which made things worse for him because it seems like he was talking about any type of co-writing. He must have assumed that Taylor is someone who has an outline/idea but really the producer’s doing most of the heavy lifting. Which obviously is false in Taylor’s case.
I suppose because her personal life and dramas have so often been at the forefront of her career, it might be easy for people to assume she’s like other pop-stars who prioritise public image over art.
Blur is iconic and in the 90s they were super hot, I'm pretty sure that Adrienne would have heard of him, especially with her knowledge. Also she has an interesting point about bitterness but definitely, the Billie Ellish part was ignored

It's normal for artists to have co-songwriters cause producing music takes a lot of effort. Taylor definitely writes/co-writes all her songs, she even has shared her original voice memos that she then has someone help her perfect it.

Also I think there must be another reason that they feel "epowered" now because, it's polygamy. FUN FACT: someone who has worked with Damon recently said (on TMZ) that Taylor's 3rd album "speak now" (which was written by her and ONLY her) has sold many more copies than "Blur" and "Gorillaz" which are the 2 groups that he is a part of. so there is that🤷🏻♀️
AND even 2 of HER co-writers (Liz rose and some other guy... maybe Ryan something) have spoken about working with her before and called it an "editors" job more so than a co-writer, which makes it sound as if SHE has the entirety of the song or at least 90% and they just help with the polishing and details to finish it. and even that does not mean she couldn't write for herself, she just ENJOYS working with other people.
Making the most ad and family friendly song to achieve great success is not a reason to put one artist above another, they work in widely different genres of which pop is overall more popular. Damon’s groups Blur and Gorillaz have had big songs too… "DARE", "Song 2", "Feel Good Inc." were all major, major songs outside of the US. Often times Americans forget that there’s a whole world out there besides our own country. Damon’s groups Blur and Gorillaz were among the most successful groups of the ‘90s and ‘00s in Europe and Australia. Everyone brought up at that time in those parts of the world knows who they are. Just because they weren’t huge in the US doesn’t mean they weren’t successful. They were very in fact very successful and made plenty of money. Please do research on an artist before giving incorrect information about them.

Yeah it was clear from the first season Kody was over his 3 wives that's why he started courting Robin. The way Meri described it there were discussions when Kody was trying to find potential wives and boundaries, with Robin he pretty much threw all the steps away to where the other wives felt a way about it because it was like they had a system that worked for 20 years and then all of a sudden they had to change it. They thought that Christine was going to be the last wife and he kind of blindsided them with Robin. And Robin I will say that she did really want the other wives to like her and try to bend to their ways but being a divorced single mother she didn't really get that Kody was favoring her over his other wives. I stopped watching about season 3 so i don't know how bad it got but yeah... Kody does have control issues.
People go into polygamous relationship for different reason and some women even like being in a sexless relationship. I think the previous wives were used to it, and Meri was the favourite for a while and when Robin is the new favourite, she's experiencing what the previous wives experienced before her.
