Jonathon FEELS his music. That is why is voice is so incedible.
At the end of the shows season, Simon offered them a 1M British Pounds contract, they did 2 albums and tour together. Next, SONY offered them each a Solo Contract. Charlotte's album was released first. After, she decided to return to Music Art's School and graduated. She now has a successful career in Musical Theatre, which was always her dream and has performed in London's West End! Both are doing what they love.

I saw him in original audition. He has blown the doors off .. he is much more then a performer who dedicated his life with a dream and hard work, that dream is his reality. He is inspiring friendly and just a guy. As he says. His fans see him as a great gift and cheer him on. He is the only talent I have recognized as special in ways that bring great change and peace to people. His music is a gift to us. It has qualities that sooth and can release emotional pain. His voice sooths our brains and has a dopamine effect. It can lift the heart and heal.
More then that. This guy has a good heart and is enjoying his journey and being who he is. He is esteemed for being true to his self, for caring enough to see past the music persona an reaches out in real ways to encourage people who feel down trodden or in need of a safe place to weep . To get it out and move on. Tommorrow will come moving forward. No matter what happens. He encourages people someone does see you and will cheer you on. That said.. I believe an army of true friends follow him. Most understand and would support and carry support and encouragement to others.
This message of love and carrying is truly a deep need in this world.
Each of us can be their for others.. many have walked through hard pressing dark times, and come out better for it.. with compassion and understanding to help the next person who needs it..
This is an outcome of his Journey walking through difficult times himself and figuring it out by moving forward hoping for great outcomes. He is delightful and a breath of fresh air. Vibrant, honest and truly smart learning life is full of opportunities, full of friends, and they are there to give back to.
He gives many things that are priceless. He is a blessing in many ways. 🙏 he is loved immensely. We cheer him on, we are left with smiles and truly enjoy his Journey. Wishing him all good in life. To keep Rocking it !! Young man! Relax and enjoy it is not hard to be kind.

Jonathan is doing magnificently with many albums. It's 10 years now and Charlotte is an accomplished "classic" singer.nafter touring and a couple albums together they NEEDED to go their individual ways. He is incredible off the scale now. Another 10 years and he'll be unimaginable! Listen to Nessus Dorma from his latest album celebrating his 10 years since BGT.. CHARLOTTE IS DOING VERY WELL TOO. 👌👌👌❤️❤️❤️🤗🤗🤗👏👏👏

I have the DVD & CD of this concert and which I play often, hearing him singing is glorious but watching him sing is a whole other experience. I can't wait for the day when I can actually see him live.
I think Simon saw that he was an ultra-introvert and it was her that was bringing him on stage to show what he could do… I think she knew that his comments were to build his confidence in himself because she was strong enough to take that (potentially fake, just to build his confidence in himself) criticism… she is a true friend and knew what talent he had and just HAD TO show it to us all

Before they started everyone were making faces about how he looked and assumed he would not be good. They quickly changed their minds.
There has been so much talent discovered on shows like this - the one I remember the most is Susan Boyle who appeared on the 2009 edition of this show and blew everyone away with her rendition of I Dreamed a Dream from Les Miserables. Definitely one to check out. Great reaction, guys, as always.

I was blown away when I heard Jonathan sing on BGT, his voice was rough here, but I knew he had the voice and I have not been disappointed.

Today, Jonathan is a star. He has sung with every opera star you could name and does concerts on his own. He no longer shakes. At that time, his friendship with Charlotte was the only thing keeping him standing. At least the audience booed Simon for saying get rid of Charlotte. She stunned everyone in their next performance. She was not a pop voice. She wanted to do musical theater. She did this as a favor to a friend and got kicked in the teeth for it. Simon's an ass.
He is a STAR!! I’ve watched the documentary, Jonathon going to Italy to study with the greats, and they were blown away too.

"Every opera star you could name" might have been a bit of an exaggeration, LOL, but he has done exceptionally well.

No she hadn’t, she is performing in Theatre her first love.
Right. Charlotte is still active in musical theater in London. She’s made a good career for herself singing on stage.
They were babies at this time.
They did a couple other performances together that season that showed off Charlotte better.

You're right about Simon. American Idol has turned into a sappy, "Who has the saddest sob story," "send them through even if they have no talent because they made me cry with their back story" type of show. No one says anything critical any more, it's all lovey-dovey and so boring and predictable. Idol NEEDS Simon back!

Music is difficult. You can't go there thinking that you will just sing a song. The emotion has to be there. A mere melody won't get your message across.
