About Aaron Blaise:

Aaron Blaise is an animation feature film director and wildlife artist.
For 21 years Aaron worked with Disney helping to create some of the greatest animated films ever made. During that time he worked as an animator or supervising animator on "The Rescuers Down Under", "Beauty and the Beast", "Aladdin", "The Lion King", "Pocahontas", "Mulan" and more.
In 2003 he was co-director of "Brother Bear" for which he earned an Oscar nomination for Best Animated Feature Film.
After "Brother Bear" he helped to develop several projects but ultimately left Disney to pursue an opportunity back home in Florida. Aaron recently served as 2D Animation Supervisor and Character Designer for the "The Bear and the Hare" an advertisement loved by millions around the world. (vimeo.com/78740926)

i made my first traditional animation yesterday
I made my first one last week, it had three frames
I have only done one lol

I usually watch any drawing videos I can, to get perspective, and I found that not every angle works for me, focusing on overall demeanour usually helps me a whole lot. 😊 Thanks so much, I'm loving how he looks so far

I’m starting to get back into art through the form of sketching and I’m trying to crossover a game franchise I love with zootopia’s characters in that same artstyle. This helps me out a bit.

I still remember the animator teaching the audience how to draw the character on the Disney channel, it is amazing to see how some simple shape can create amazing character.

Thank you, I was having trouble with making a character design, but your video actually helped me in figuring out how to make a character design. My character is a sea jelly by the way.
When i grow up i wanna make stuff professionally like you, learning about animation is so much fun and ive learned so much from just a few RUclips videos over just a few months, you make it simple while at the same time explaining everything which makes it more entertaining to watch and starting animation a year ago has let me see and appreciate animation in a new way that just watching wouldn’t show how much time. Basically what im getting at is thank you for helping make stuff like this easy to learn, ive been practicing alot and i can say ive improved alot and alot faster since i started paying attention to these tips, and its fun!

Aaron one of the creatures I’d like to see you design is a Daeodon (or some other Entelodont) I feel that they have interesting features that you could work with, that and they’d make a good villainous design being some what barbaric.

I need this. I've been struggling to draw in disney style for almost 3 years. What tips would you recommend?
Glad to stumble upon your channel. Ive done artwork all my life and cartooning is something that i have done very little with.I have recently started the very beginning of a cartoon idea of an alien family. Wiuld like to develop this into a one panel idea.But i need to to develop consistent facial expressions as well as the body.i already have the head design but i need to work in the rest of the foremention keys im lacking. Any tips on this ?

Hi! I’m a struggling artist and I’ve really been wanting to learn how to draw in a Disney style, and when I saw this in my recommended I beamed! I was wondering if you could do a video sometime of how you draw dobermans? I have a Doberman puppy and like you with Miss Violet, I’ve been using him as my practice figure. I’ve been struggling a lot with anatomy and your videos have been helping me so much! Thank you for helping to create amazing Disney movies, too. They wouldn’t have been the same without you, the team was lucky to have you as an animator

Fica mais rápido e realista com foto de movimento. Criar em cima de objetos e pessoas também e dali criar um personagem. Crianças e pessoas comuns são mais natural do que criar encima de pessoas da tv. Acho que eles copiam pessoas também. É incrível quando a pessoa tem personalidade sendo ela mesma. A gente se apaixona através disso. Olha o gesto o riso o jeito de falar vestir 👗. Não é química é atração o jeito de andar correr falar. Olhar.

Our dog is a 13 year old poodle boy, and yes I can totally see why you would want to draw your dog as a character. Pets got real character and they got their very own way of worming their way into our lives.
I definitely see your point of Bulldogs already being pretty comical, their features are so exaggerated, a poodle like ours probably wouldn't look as expressive as that ^^"
