Just shot my first wedding on it and my XT3-Viltrox combo makes $10,000 cameras sweat. Its absolutely nuts in all lighting. I primarily shoot automotive with a 35mm 1.8, 50mm 1.8 and now this will be a stellar combo!
Yours is the first video I’ve seen using car photography to display a lens’s strengths. It was VERY helpful in seeing how well it performs. Nicely done!
Eric, thank you for sharing your technical expertise and enthusiasm. You make this sound like a $3,000 lens in terms of how you praise its optics. And that is an insane price-to-performance ratio. I am using Sony e mount but the Viltrox 75 1.2 Pro just came out on it, too. I'm assuming the glass is the same, and I've struggled between choosing this and the Sigma 56 1.4. The Sigma has been the grail portrait lens for a long time, and is 2/3rd the price, less than half the weight of this, and half the size. I learned the Viltrox isn't the best in autofocus, at least compared to native lenses. But I'm hoping they do improve that in a firmware update. But with how much praise you've given the Viltrox, comparing it to Canon L mount lenses... no fringing and aberration, wide open, in the worst conditions, is something I haven't heard of at this price point... I'm sold. Thanks for this interesting review! Your photos were lovely.
Very nice images, Eric. Exceptional lens performance for its price point. This lens will slot in nicely between my Fuji 56mm f1.2 & the Fuji 90mm f2. Best wishes for your channel.😊
Awesome review and images! 😊👍 I only wish they made it in a full frame for Sony! Lol. With that said, would you compare this to the Sigma 105mm 1.4 for bokeh and image quality ? It’s amazing the bokeh you get with large subjects like cars. My only concern is the 14 megapixels I get in crop mode on my a7 iv
I have a Fujifilm X-S20 Mirrorless camera body and I'm thinking of buying an AF 75mm F1.2 XF Pro. My question is: Can I use the Fujifilm X-S20 with VILTROX 75mm f/1.2 F1.2 Pro XF?
wow . awesome snaps with awesome lens . The lens is really top notch . i am having that lens and iam most satisfied with the image coming out of it . Best lens by viltrox
@@EricNelsonYT can you please do a video on showing your settings for xt4 for these pics . To get such a sharp pics . Have you used any lights? Thank you

Awesome! Make sure you Don't forget the CPL for Automotive work.
Yea I love this lens. Couldn’t be happier. 27mm 1.2 is coming this month. Can’t wait.
If Viltrox keeps dropping pro lenses this good, I will keep buying them

Man i would love to use what settings you are using, these shots are so incredible and the detail is amazing.
Great video, love it. I'm a Fuji shooter as well and the Viltrox 75 (and 27 as well) are on my wish list.
I have been eyeballing the 27mm f1.2 Pro as well!

Glad I could help & glad you found value in the video!
Dam, that color rendering!! am onto this lens asap!
It's a banger of a lens. The incredible flare control also helps maintain color accuracy & vibrancy.
Don’t know how the algorithm suggested but I’m subscribing…. Thanks for the knowledge 🤜🏾🤛🏼
I appreciate that & I am glad I could help! 👊🏼

BOKEH a bit dirty - digital like in the tree's at the beginning
Explain what you mean by "dirty"

Surprised there is no strong flaring with the backlit images that every other reviewer mentions. Have you extended your lens hood?
What is the firmware lens version?
So you ran her over with the car before took that shot?
