I absolutely love the zut 37, it is actually quite good if you position yourself well. but on the other hand you can do well with most anything with good positioning.
Paper Skies recently did a video on the development and utter failure of the ZUT-37. Its main armament had a fatal flaw where because it was originally designed for use as an aircraft armament, the reload speed was atrocious. To get around this flaw, during demonstration to the army representatives, the tank commander would jump out of the vehicle every time the gun run out of ammunition to ask for permission to continue the demonstration. This would buy enough time for the rest of the tank crew to reload the unwieldy weapon. The in-game reload is unrealistically fast, with the real reload speed closer to 2 mins after several bursts (Presumably the same number of rounds the aircraft would've carried).

Bought this thing, my first premium, many years ago just because it looked cool. I hated it when I first tried playing it, but after coming back to War Thunder some time later I had a blast with it and have loved it ever since.

I have it, it sucks for AA, it's pretty ok at flanking. It can pen most things from the side or back and the clip lets it do so much damage, that most people are screwed if they get dumped with the full amount of bullets.
Looking forward to some auto content on this or a new channel.

The other day i had the weirdest thing happen when playing the stug. I got given an aircraft kill. I didnt hit any aircraft shoot att any aircraft nor have the machine gun

8 years ago LaGG-3-34 was at 3.0 and had only 12 cannon rounds. But it was amazing in air RB, where hordes of PBJ's flew low and took out ground units. It was so much fun to pop them with a single shot and to read some breaking news about yourself and your family in chat:D

@@Growlin_CEO i know like why would a creator just stick to one game and willingly stifle their channel. War thunder really isn't that big of a game in the grand scheme of things. Playing other things others the opportunity to reach a wider viewer base and even potentially partner with other companies and creators in the future
@@smolwavingsnail9028 Once a creator sticks with one game for a while the algorithm stops recommending people videos of their's that aren't of that game, because it thinks that game is the only thing people want to see from that creator, so it makes sense that creators would stick with one game so as to not spend energy making videos that won't be popular. That said, people hating on him for not sticking with just one game is incredibly stupid, they aren't the ones to choose which games he plays and if they don't want to watch him play different games they can just click away.

Yay! It's always a good feeling to do well on such an unruly and difficult vehicle. I think you should do more "same gun" combos. Like the panzer 4 and the Duck, a Sherman 75 and the PBJ, and any other ones with the same or similar caliber or characteristics.
Molins Class M is a 6 pounder and the bk 5 is the same as mounted on the sdkfz 234/2, there is ofcourse countless SPAA's using aircraft cannons but those wouldn't be fun

Yeah russian 37mm with 80plus mm of pen this thing is great i love it perfect low tier crusher off everything but dont get it when gaijin saying that this is fine at 2.3 but coalian or ostwind 2 with pen 49mm is ôk at 5.0 and 6.3 really fun gaijin

I got it because I love AA and buckets. I didn't imagine that it was essentially a casemate. I've got around 100 kills, only 4 of those are aircraft and 1 of those was accidental. If you run out of ammo you can dazzle people with the bucket.

That gunner cranking the traverse needs to pump iron. Did any SPAA guns have a 2-speed traverse if hand-cranked?
Seriously. One thing a SPAA MUST have is a fast traverse as well as a 'Hollywood' size ammo rack if they are to take down aircraft.

I despise war thunder and wargaming. A motivator for going into programming. Main one is i want to create stories and good and fun to play that are memorable.

6:07 Technically it's not a flying ZUT, since the LaGG-3-34 uses the NS-37, which is a fantastic gun, while the ZUT-37 uses the Sh-37, which is a shit-gun that was rejected for service.
