I really wonder if 1.21 will get music, sure it might get a disc. but like, the only other music they could add would be "combat music" for the chambers, which would feel so wrong for a minecraft ost

Combat music can be ambient
You know what'd be cool, add two new disks, one combat theme sound and another, even more hype combat song.
Then add a comparator output to trial spawners, giving one output when activated normally, another when concluded, and one or two for the ominous trials.
Then make a addition to one or a few chambers that adds a Redstone activation connected to a spawner that will start one of the disks playing depending when you enter depending on if it is ominous or not.
It’s getting music they just posted it on Twitter, but it doesn’t seem like a music disc. Also, the update is done it left experimental.

You say we won't notice the Ghast fireball thing but that's actually a huge change that's absolutely unneeded and horrible for gameplay, no more ghast hunting with loyalty tridents...

i mean having the portal background for it makes sense since we go through the portal and suddenly gain access to the conversation between some ethereal gods in a secondary plane of existence it fits

THANK YOU for letting me know that 1.20.80 is coming out. I usually do not care about updates, but last time mojang made a .80 update I lost my minecraft world. I'm making a backup today.
Good thing you did, i lost my creative world on the 1.18 update a few years ago because the update moved the file where minecraft worlds go.
ITS NEXT WEEK WOOOO!! I legit wasn’t expecting it to be this early but hey not complaining…. Oh that means I’d still be going to school after the break, oh come on I only 2 weeks for spring break, summer has so much more break time, aww man!

I’m anxiously waiting to have the wolf variants… not going to download the Minecraft preview program/app on the Xbox but they don’t seem to show up with the main game’s “experimental toggle” yet. I was hoping to play with them before I could find them in a “real” world but maybe it’s not happening.
Although I will be sad when they fix the bogged - on the experimental worlds I make if a wolf attacks one it just ignores it but wolves still treat them as skeletons so it’s funny to watch lol.
1.21 also has officially left experimental meaning the update is coming out soon. Also they just announced music for the update is complete so yeah the updates probably coming this May

Somehow the thing I am most excited about from this video is that he is a Twenty One Pilots fan... (everthing else is great too)
they also added a third dimension loading screen no one is talking about for custom dimensions added with datapacks.
Its funny how that twitter thread was saying that Bedrock's release was affected because java is still in its release candidate stage when the bedrock platform being processed for released is the reason java has extra time to do snapshots

I share my birthday with Minecraft. I didn’t even know.
Albeit, I’m MUCH older than Minecraft. I won’t be here when Minecraft turns 30.
So they’re making another game? Haven’t they got the idea yet? With the exception of Minecraft story mode (which was an outside company), nothing else they have done has worked… why bother? Why don’t they just put all that time and money into ways of speeding up normal Minecraft development?
It’s a lot easier to justify a budget for a new game than it is to justify a budget for a expanded Minecraft team.
