I live in Humboldt County and have always wanted to Fish for striper in the Bay Area during the ocean run or even in the Sac river. I fish for Surf Perch a lot so hooking a striper in the surf is a dream of mine. I have been crab snaring since the ocean is dangerous right now for beach fishing up here.

@RUclipsMastersDegree yea, i have also wanted to do some striper fishing down there during the run, I stopped at a tackle shop in sf, and the pictures of the huge fish they catch there were crazy. I'm new to this lure fishing, as you can probably tell, so I'm hoping to do more of it.
