I’ve had this watch for a couple years now, and I could not be happier. I have a 7in wrist and love how it looks. The pure type-B is kinda boring, this threads the needle nicely with the added day and date. I keep mine on the bracelet and regularly get compliments on it. Well done Hamilton.
Hamilton to me nailed this watch. I have this watch with the desert/Brown leather automatic khaki Aviation. The H with wings embossed to the logo on the leather band makes it feel and look rich to it’s heritage as a pilot’s watch. More people ask me about this watch then I could believe and tell them that it’s a 900$ to 1000$ watch. The fit of this watch being a 42 is beautiful and brilliant with someone with smaller wrists. Worth every penny in my book.
It’s a wonderful, and looks great on your wrist, actually. It’s what a flieger style should look like. I really like what they did with the hands and indices. Seiko imitated the indices with their latest military Seiko 5s. Great review!
I love this watch. It is visually big when looking down at your wrist but if you look at your arm in a mirror it looks perfect. I disagree with the clasp being too chunky because it balances out the size and weight of the watch. That being said, it would be awesome if it had on the fly micro adjustments. If it had that and a screw down crown it would be perfect. As of now, for me, it’s 95% to perfection for the price
