Did you completely buried the plug and outlet behind the drywall? I’m going to be building the same thing except with a 72” but I’m wondering if it’s smart to have no access to the plug. Also do you have any issues with your breaker tripping? It uses 1500 watt on high
No we have access to it if we removed the fireplace. I would recommend having an access panel that’s something we would do different if we did it again. Unfortunately for us we have to remove the fireplace in order for us to get to the outlet. We have used it on high and have no issues with it tripping. Best of luck with your project!
Love seeing a family work and learn together. It forms memories and a bond that can't be broken. Great job.
What did you use to do the corners and what’s that spray ? I’m doing one now
Thank you for this awesome video! I just bought a linear electric fireplace and had no idea how to frame it and I learned so much from you! It really warmed my heart seeing how the whole family worked together on this project. Love it!!!
We want to do one of these so bad. Thanks for showing us all the steps!
Can’t wait to watch you guys make one!
You’re welcome!
Great video! How high is your base where it touches the bottom of the fireplace? I recently got the 72” version of the same fireplace you have.
I’m getting the 72” also. Have you had any issues with your breaker tripping while using it on high? According to my research I’ve done on volts/amps it’s over the recommended wattage. On high it uses 1500 watt. On a 15 amp the wattage is 1440. I only know this because I recently added a new light fixture to my hallway and wanted to make sure I didn’t cause any issues lol I made sure I did my homework
Honestly, I haven’t needed to use the heat yet since it’s been hot/warm. I’ll know this winter lol!
@@mrkngkhan ok. It doesn’t get that cold here in Houston so I really don’t see myself having to use it on high. It’s more for ambiance lol so I think it should be fine. I just don’t understand why it’s made to use so much wattage when 90% of homes is on a 15 or 20 amp
@@MissMoyston yeah, that’s wild. Didn’t think it would pull that much power.
Great video thank you 👍🤩
I wudv thought ya'll would use the bigger wall to put the fireplace and TV that way it's easier to view from the couch. Still love the look 🔥
Thank you so much! We had a 65” tv in this room before and it was way too big. This room isn’t that big. We decided to go with a 50” tv and 50” fireplace and it’s so much better.
Any day now this channel will go viral with these game changing fireplaces! Y’all got good ideas make me want to start showcasing my home renovation lol not as good as Greg’s tho , keep the vids coming! 🔥
Lol we’ll be here to watch!! Thank you so much we appreciate the love!
