    I just got this exact one and put it on the wall. I will say that I wish my install had gone so smoothly. I had a stripped screw to deal with that caused some frustration. Once I got past that a few hiccups but it’s flush with the wall and I love it. My one complaint is that there is a clicking sound which comes from the reflectors rotating. I contacted the seller and they did credit me 20% plus give directions on fixing the issue. After taking it apart, the sound is still there but not noticeable when the flame speed is low. Great review.

    So you didn't screw the nails into the plastic anchors that came with them?

    • @TerenceDIY
      @TerenceDIY  2 года назад

      No, I didn't use those. I used the anchor screws that did not require the plastic anchors. Here is a link for them.

    One other thing, what is depth of this fire place?. Their ad says it used to be 6” but the new model is 3.85” but can’t determine by your pics of the unit.

    • @TerenceDIY
      @TerenceDIY  2 года назад

      I should have added that information in the video. Sorry about that. From the wall to the front of the glass is 4 1/4". This includes the mount and the glass. The glass is 3/16" thick. Once again, thank you SO much for watching!

    The camera work on this video has made me sea-sick LOL. I would have loved to have seen a still camera filming the flame for several seconds to get an idea if this looks real or not before buying it. Many of them do not look real. Unfortunately I can't tell from this video because the camera is on non-stop wandering mode :)

      Hi Jamaal, I would not advise trying to power it up with a battery. The heating element alone has to be 1500 watts plus. Thank you SO much for watching!

    I need help!!! I can not get the FFC connector to release

    • @TerenceDIY
      @TerenceDIY  7 месяцев назад

      Do you have some tweezers or small flat head screwdriver (one that is used for eye glasses)? Those will help remove the FFC connector without breaking it. It's very fragile so you have to be careful.

    Is there space in the underside of the fireplace to hide the electric wire where you could duct tape it? Can this unit be hardwired?
    Don’t care for the exposed plug and wire into the outlet. This product is available via Amazon with several sizes.

    • @TerenceDIY
      @TerenceDIY  2 года назад

      Hi Tom, yes, there is plenty of space underneath where the cord can be hid. Also, you can hard wire it. Just cut the plug off and wire it to your service (very easy). Thank you SO much for watching!
