Man, I’ve always like Simonsen, but that made me tear up! What a class guy’ since seeing this not knowing about a person then you see a glimpse of his childhood and the challenges growing up. I really do care for him as another bowler and always wish him the best. Such a down to earth young man. God Bless you and stay positive has you have been. Thank you for opening your heart up to us. ✌️

When you survive that kind of childhood you can do anything and he has proved it, As the Australians would say . . . Good On Ya Mate

I love this! I was fortunate enough to meet Anthony's Mom at a Regional in Greenville, Texas. Anthony was on the pair next to me in qualifying. I also use to see him when he worked at Plano Super Bowl along with Anthony Lavery-Spahr and Sean Lavery-Spahr. He's a fine Young man, no question. I also remember him winning $5,000.00 in brackets at a sweeper. He was 16 years old. If I'm not mistaken it was at Forum bowl in Grand Prairie or Showplace Garland. I know he's a force to be reckoned with. I'm proud of you, Anthony.

I think Simonsen just became my favorite bowler. So much grit and determination despite all he went through.

You never know what someone's been thru. I've watched quite a bit of the pba tour and the outtakes involving Anthony's blow ups. Personally wasn't a fan of the bad attitude and the few things I saw that were out of the norm. After watching this I now have a much better understanding of who Anthony is and what he's been through and a lot of what has transpired makes a lot more sense. I feel terrible about making judgements without having any real tangible knowledge of who he is. That being said although I understand where most of the turmoil comes from it also doesn't give him or anyone else a pass to act out like that. For his sake I hope he puts it all together and has a fulfilling career and learns why he is the way he is inside and leaves the emotional hurt in the past so he can be a great father and husband in the future. Looking forward to following his career and seeing how this all plays out for him. Rooting for you Anthony, kick that ass and smile my guy. Your mom is proud as hell of you from above!

Good story but what was supposed to be so sad to move me to tears? He's a great bowler and will be #1 bowler in the world after Belmo moves on.
