    Because of you Pete (and a few other YT channels) in late 2021 I’ve discovered and later on bought my Sagola 4600 Xtreme Trophy Truck Limited Edition (production 2022) and I really really love it! For others it could be one of the top 3 guns but for me, … because of the low cfm needed (9-10) and the low air volume consumption (only 280-290 l/min needed) plus the “metal-on-metal” construction without pricey gaskets like the Sata ones … because of the written above in my “Top 3 list” it goes straight to the top, straight to the 1st place! 🥇🏆
    So, big thank you for your time and effort and God bless you mate! 🙏

      Hi mate, and thank you 😊, It one of my favourite guns and I love the colour of the Trophy Truck, out of interest you can fit all the new Sagola caps to the original 😀 👍

      @@peteshobbies5383frankly speaking the only reason to buy the limited edition was the great orange color of the gun (I hate the original Sagola 4600 red-ish color) and I’m super happy with my decision.

      😂😁 Hi Dean, they do go, mate. Even the more moderate 1.2Xl with the Titania Pro cap is quite fast, but the 1.3XL DVR Clear is a ripper.
      Certainly, it won't suit everyone, but for someone who likes them fast it a brilliant gun, cheers, mate 👍

    I've been using the Titania Pro for base and the DVR Clear for, well clear. Been getting great results with minimal, if any, orange peel. I have a 1.3 tip set in the gun, have the 1.3XL but saving it for when I want to move really fast. So far the 1.3 suits the way I paint very well. Nice video as always!

      Hi buddy, These do give a very good finish, Titania & Titania Pro are certainly a good universal caps so the way you use them makes perfect sense, I have the Aqua cap as well , I use it for mainly solvent base coat and it works well,
      I don't use waterbourn much, so I can't say much with any real conviction, but when I have used it with the Aqua cap, it's been good.
      Good to hear you're enjoying the videos. Thanks for watching. Cheers, mate 👍

    FIRE IN THE HOLE!! What a fast gun... wow! Surely, those are for pros, but the performance appears excellent. You have all the nice toys. Another great one, Pete!

    Multimix 2 clear i find really good never had a problem with it, but have been enjoying the kapci clear at the moment

      @peteshobbies5383  8 месяцев назад +1

      Hi Mate, I find it pretty good for the money, although I prefer the Kapci 6030, about the same price, and seems to have a higher gloss level , cheers buddy 👍

    • @kingvtec100
      @kingvtec100 8 месяцев назад +1

      @peteshobbies5383 yeah i been using the kapci 6030 it great, harder is odd tho as fast acts like a normal & extra fast like a normal fast, few ppl i know say the same

    • @peteshobbies5383
      @peteshobbies5383  8 месяцев назад

      @kingvtec100 That's exactly what I've found, I did a review of 4 clears together to show any differences, and that's one of the things I mentioned,
      I've only got there fast at the moment, so I only use it when it's warmer as it just doesn't go off in cold conditions. I'm told the extra fast is like a fast and doesn't drop in gloss compared to fast, so I will try it and see. Certainly, the Kapci fast holds it gloss level really well, cheers mate 👍

    I've actually sorted my 4600 fyi , I gave it a full strip down and poked and prodded it everywhere possible with a bit of mig wire . I've been using it for wet on wet epoxy with the titania pro cap (1.3xl) and its been perfect (prior issue it sprayed hard right out of the tip and used to absolutely cake the air cap on the rught side ... it was also substantially slower than it is now) , I'm yet to try it with the dvr cap , but I have a fairly big respray on a car coming up I reckon I'll use it on 👍 .
    For the person who had issues using one (noted in your subtitles) sometimes you need to start with the fluid wound right in and wind it out by half turns spraying a test panel .
    👍

      Hi Andrew, It sounds like one side of the air cap was blocked, I've had a Devilbiss cap like that from the factory, and a bit of swarf was in there.
      Good to hear you got there in the end. The DVR cap, as you can see, is a hose and great fun. Hopefully, you'll get a chance to use it soon. Cheers, buddy 👍

    • @andrewntoth1
      @andrewntoth1 8 месяцев назад +1

      @peteshobbies5383 it was something inside the gun its self mate , both titania and dvr did the same (it was impossible to use the dvr and get any type of reasonable finish) , but now it's perfect 👌👌

    • @peteshobbies5383
      @peteshobbies5383  8 месяцев назад +1

      @andrewntoth1 You've got me thinking what it could be now 😂, I'm guessing it must have been an air channel blocked before it reaches the tip. At least you got there, which is the main thing 😄

    • @andrewntoth1
      @andrewntoth1 8 месяцев назад +1

      @peteshobbies5383 yeah I still don't fully know myself for honesty , I think there was some swarf or something up where the fan control is , I didn't see it but felt some sort of 'click' as I was stuffing the mig wire through there (also gave it near 7bar out of the air gun 😅 )

    Hi Pete, I really like the Sagola 4600 series of guns they just look like they are good quality and when I was first looking at a full size gun it was going to be one of these or a GTI ProLite, I don't regret getting the ProLite for one minuet but I do regret not getting a 4600 before they got taken over and the prices went up especially now due to the new cheaper guns coming through from the likes of Porphis and Fuji🤔👍
    Anyway mate both air caps laid the MM2 perfectly with a really good finish plus they are both fast guns👌thanks mate👍

    • @peteshobbies5383
      @peteshobbies5383  8 месяцев назад +1

      Hi John, I'm lucky, I got some of my guns used but perfect condition, so I had a 4600 Digital, with an additional tip set and cap for £270 gbp, an absolute bargain these days, others I got in Spain for half the price they are in the UK.
      You sumed it up perfectly. There are many things around that are challenging these top manufacturers, which are starting to make them look expensive.
      You mentioned the Fuji, of which I have yours on loan at the moment, that is a very similar build to these, very solid almost agricultural like in the solid construction.
      In the UK, we are force-fed certain models and manufacturers limit the range they have here deliberately I think, manufacturers sell us what they want not whats available, fortunately the world of international ecommerce is giving us a wider choice, long may it continue. Cheers mate 👍

    I need one of those again my dv1 is way too slow for 115° F weather im in

    • @peteshobbies5383
      @peteshobbies5383  4 месяца назад +1

      Hi Mate, Yeah, the DV1 is relatively slow, so in extreme heat, it will tend to be dry, something like a Sagola in 1.3XL would help

      @peteshobbies5383 i know ive been doing custom paint for 18 years, i love the sagola 4600's im currently using a sata 5000 rp for clear. Love watching your videos, im a spray gun lover like you i just dont keep them if i dont like them lol

    • @peteshobbies5383
      @peteshobbies5383  4 месяца назад

      @mainedapainter I do the same. If I don't like something, I'll get rid of it. Having said that, there are few bad sprayguns about these days, but some are certainly better than others.
      It also depends on people's styles and needs. Some really don't like fast guns, good to hear you enjoy the videos buddy, I genuinely enjoy making them, thanks for watching 👍

    I think the Sagola gun pumps out a lot of fluid faster than any other brand?

    • @peteshobbies5383
      @peteshobbies5383  8 месяцев назад

      Hi Mate, they sure do pump it out. It's hard to split the really fast guns. This Sagola, the Walcom 360 HTE, Sata 5000 RP, and the Porphis PRD715 & PRD625 are all, extremely fast, I don't know what wins 🤔

    • @peteshobbies5383
      @peteshobbies5383  8 месяцев назад

      Hi Paul, realistically, to run these, you are going to need around 12cfm, obviously, depending on how much you are doing at once and the size of your air tank

      Hi buddy, it depends where you are as to how much these are. Some markets are half the price of others.
      Having said that, they are very well made and will last well, as to whether better is available cheaper depends where you are, they are certain much more expensive than they used to be, in the UK anyway, cheers 👍
