  • In 1965, American radio host Paul Harvey gave an immense warning to the American people about the fate of the nation. “We Were Warned: Freedom to Chains” is a short film about the parallels between the warning Harvey gave over fifty years ago, and today with the Socialist influences in government and society. This video is an edit of the short film created to provide only the audio without the visuals seen in the original.

When I was a boy in the early 1960’s visiting my grandparents every summer in Nanticoke, PA., my grandma listened to Paul Harvey everyday. I stopped what I was doing to listen too. His news delivery was unlike anything I had ever heard, and I just loved “The rest of the Story” he would speak of. His breed is gone now, and he is not experiencing the heartbreak over our society today as the rest of us are. I am grieved over what I see happening in these United States today. His life influenced and taught many, he is greatly missed.

So glad I listened to this from Mr. Harvey. I feel the exact same way you do. When I saw that your comment was just two days ago, I had to let you know I read it. The wisdom you inherited from your grandparents was so profound, that it never left your soul. I wish you a safe. Love to you. Thank you for leaving this for us to see. Your grandparents must have been wonderful.

It is important to allow the speech from all sides.
Usually when both sides are allowed to speak, most people can figure out which is real, & which is not, because the one speaking the truth will come at the subject directly & produce verifiable facts/sources, whereas the one spouting propaganda most times won't answer a direct question, will try to change the subject, will spout a lot of rhetoric, or often raise their voices, threaten, & throw insults.

Medicare and Medicaid? Technology? Space exploration? Public lands? Public utilities? Medical research?border security/ immigration? Health and safety for workers? Ect.... Just think how much you would have to pay out of pocket just to get the fire dept. To come to your house to put out a fire, as they did in the "good old days". I don't think people really think about what their taxes pay for and if they are willing to do without those services if the government didn't provide them.just leaving your driveway would cost you money to travel on all the toll roads. You want the cops to come? well not until you pay for them. You want to walk into a hospital? Pay the teller at the door and if you can't afford the price go home and suffer. I listened to Paul Harvey growing up, and boy doesn't his speech make you feel like a pioneer felling trees and building your life and living off the land free and responsible for your own? How many of those pioneers died and weren't able to be responsible for their own? The myths of our making will be the end of us.

He was a prophet. He saw Trump, the ultimate insider, try to maintain power after he lost the election. The fact that he has gotten people to believe that he was right is the ultimate deception.
By "Uncle Sam getting whipped" it means that someone gets into power and does things like claim he is entitled to a third term. The Constitution forbids that. But people say, "Yeah, yeah, he's right! Give him a third term!" They have been deceived.
It means that someone can think that, because he has the temporary job of president, he can do things like eliminate institutions like NARA just because he doesn't like them. But NARA has belonged to the people of the United States, not one individual, for generations. It is part of our legacy and heritage. And people say, "Yeah, yeah, eliminate NARA! Eliminate the FBI! He wants it, so let's do it!" They have been deceived.
It means that he can claim, without evidence, that an election is fraudulent and that institutions like the U.S. court system which said there's no evidence, and his own DHS which said there's no evidence, and all of the Secretaries of State and all 3200 County Elections Commisioners who signed their names to the vote count, are all wrong and are "enemies of the state." And people say, "Yeah, yeah, enemies! Fraud!" They have been deceived.
Beware of people like that man. He will have accomplished an inside job.

So true. As an emergency responder I see the fast pace world we live in. My wife and I have a rule in the house. Dinner time is our time to reflect on the day and TALK. No electronics! I've given a few different speeches at events. I end them with. Next time your out for a drive. Either by yourself or with a loved one. Take the time put the phone down and look around and talk. See what maybe you've missed by being by pre occupied with all the goings on in social. I know first hand. We go by somewhere and say wow!! Where's that at or where'd that go and when. Then you hear oh that happened a while ago. I'm trying to slow down and see the Forrest and the trees and still enjoy life. Thanks all stay safe.

It is the worst thing ever invented in my opinion. I have one but only use it on trips in the car out of town. i NEVER carry it with me on a daily basis. Recently I sat on a bench and watched a young woman walking along and checking her phone literally ever 2-3 minutes. that is unbelievable. It never left her hand.

Regarding Taxes: 2 years ago I received a letter from my bank, the Bank of Scotland. Seemingly the US Gov't , via my bank, required me to prove I was not American or I would be taxed by them. I'm a 72 year old Scotsman. A worker. When our children were very young we went on a 10 day holiday to Boston (thoroughly enjoyed), that was our only visit to the USA. Aparrently the US Gov't has an aggreement with other countries banks to formalise this. In order to prove to the US Gov't via my bank I had to make a legal statement of proof that I wasn't a US Citizen. My Bank's advice was to comply or they would never be off my back. I complied. No further contact. Why me? No idea but I was not the only one. I know that. Aye what Mr. Harvey says is wisdom indeed. Best Wishes to the US from Scotland. Jock.

Washington, Jefferson knew the American people would sacrifice their freedom it was all part of a Masonic experiment by the British and Washington and Jefferson were part of it as masons.

    • @MrMirville
      @MrMirville Год назад

First of all when Jefferson wrote « we the people » he only talked about the gentry of the people having enough land and capital not to have to work to enjoy a good life and get a good education. He described himself as a late continuation of Voltaire in the New World, and liberty as he defined it was for people of big landed property. It was very clear that the people of the lower ranks would not enjoy all the rights described in the constitution. As you say it was a Masonic experiment : he knew that people would have to sacrifice their freedom at some point because an empire would have to be built to secure a good standard of living. Anyway the American constitution was written mostly to seduce Europeans not to be applied to Americans.

My mom always reminds us that Mexico gave us birth but The U.S.A. gave us life. My parents left Mexico for a better life and I thank them always. Although we came illegally my brothers and I gave back to this great nation by joining the U.S. Army and after we served ,we became citizens.
My parents and us grow up working in fruit orchards and my mom worked in a fruit warehouse for almost 30 years. We worked hard and asked for assistance only few times but we never abused the system, if I remember correctly my mom received food stamps for a about 4 months in total. Apart from that, we were taught to work and provide for our families.
So to see this great nation falling apart, it brings me great sadness and concern for my children and grandchildren.

Every American should listen to this wise proclamation once a week to remind them where we have come from and how far we can go. Too many of us just accept what the government is handing out instead of questioning the lack of leadership they exhibit. Unless things soon change, we will fall on the ash heap of history as a dead civilization destroyed from within.
