- Join us on our Pools, Ponds and Peaks tour with Reef! In this episode we visit City Wave in Madrid and extend our trip in France to score one of the best waves for skimboarding in Europe.

I used to live in a shared house in Cornwall UK which was all skaters and surfers. We used to get together skimboarding, great fun and good times. Once we went out in the rain and skimmed a golf course 😆

When I saw the title, I directly thought of the Cap Ferret. The wave at la Pointe is famous for skimboarding. Hope you envoyed the place, had some oysters in one of the great villages along the Bassin.

Those waves are so nice, never get anything like that hear on the Gulf side of Florida unless there is a hurricane.

I think we got the worst skim condition in the world :) rocks on the shore, no waves, people averywhere.
But despite all of this, after many years and a ton of shitty fake boards, I got a zap skim from US and, yeah, I can give myself some nice sessions in the winter.
