It's definitely a huge financial commitment... one of the biggest reasons that likely scare away interest. Hopefully they can help curb some of that in the future.
Theres a lot of consequences for people with past medical issues like ADD and ADHD even if the applicant has stopped medication, lot of people lose hope
I’m training to be a pilot in Orlando it’s a lot of work not easy
I'm intresting to become full a pilot
A bachelors degree is almost nothing now. You want to have a bachelors degree preferably in an aviation related field. It will make you more desirable.
I have been interested in being a pilot but the cost is what scares me away. There's scholarships out there but it seems geared toward the young not the older folks who are looking for a new career change.
Pilot is easy to fly and take off, but landing is difficult you need skills... so f35 vtol or helicopter jet is better most probable to get more pilots...
Huh?
first the pilot shortage is not real, its harder than they tell you, if you get a job its old crappy aircraft with steam gauges not glass, so learn steam guages. you need at least 2,000 to get any job, oh and the 4 year degree you need as well.
none of that is true
1000 restricted atp 1500 hrs to get to regional. Many college now offer flight training with glass cockpit and you can take out loans.
