  • Gottlieb’s classic Haunted House but with added speech and multiball just like it should have come out of the factory :-) I know my bonus display doesn't work, its complicated! The work on this was carried out by Chris Williams our UK Gottlieb guru. You can read how he did it here www.pinballnews...

Fantastic! I love the additions. This was the first table I ever fell in love with as a kid, I really hope to own one someday. I was totally fascinated by it having 3 levels

16 bit music, speech and multi ball in 1982. Ohh I miss those days!!! 😀

OMG! Neither the PC, iOS, nor Toyshock versions have the text to speech, or flashing lights this pin has. Wow! Thanks for sharing this. :)

I found this machine fascinating when I saw it back in the mid-80s at Chicago Game Company, an arcade next to Lane Tech High School when I was a student. I guess the speech and multiball features were added later. Talking computers really fascinated me when I was a kid, and that is why I did an application to access email and web pages over the phone that I run today.

We just got this one for my mother. She loves it. Has a pi-80 x4 board in it. I was initially (not now) worried about the aftermarket board but it does allow a ton of customization and makes it more reliable. I may do a mod of some sort eventually. Awesome game.

Nice airball into plunger lane @ 1:40 - it seems that either the ball was fast enough after being kicked by the nearby slingshot to do that after hitting the "2" target , or the coil in the mentioned target kicker is a bit too strong. Also, the cellar GI seems to flash when either of the cellar flippers are activated.

Had the chance to play this pinball machine and I'll admire it for it is with the different playfield levels and absurd amount of flippers, all of which are useful. However, it severely lacks in IP and on-board direction. It makes it super hard for this to become a likeable machine.

Blows goats with those additions. Built one, sold it shortly afterwards. If it was styled like Black Hole, fine. The placement of the locked balls sucked and slowed it way down. And the game never needed speech.

If (for example) you lock a ball for multiball while playing ball 2 you have to achieve mutiball by locking a second ball while still playing ball 2, if you lose ball 2 the machine ejects the locked ball and you start again on ball 3. I hope this makes sense!
