This is the best April Fools joke I have seen all day. Well done!!!! The Kraton 6S was my second RC after the Hoss during the pandemic. The neighbors “loved” it screaming up and down the street. The only RC I own where I have yet to have a single break and no stock electronics failures.
Id rather have seen you get the sledge. Oh well. Maybe soon. Anyway, Be warned that you will be replacing diffs frequently unless you shim them correctly. It gets old spending 60$ everytime they break.
What fluids did you use? I put 30k in front 60k in back 125k in the cemter. Its a lot better but wanted a little heavier in the front and rear but couldnt find it in stock. Also shimmed the diffs and put bearings in the steering rack
Interesting. About 18 months ago, I was watching a lot of your content, along with others, to try and help me decide what RC to get my 13 year old son. I ended up going for a ‘Kriton’. It was a really hard decision between it and an XMaxx. What convinced me was the tendency for the xmaxx to roll with moderate cornering, unless you upgraded to the ‘wide’ kit. I was also mindful of breakages, I wanted something very robust. The Kraton has been very good, it was bigger than I expected, my son has not broken anything on it, but I’m a little disappointed with how little he actually plays with it….made that last point should be a warning to all dads out there!
There’s no incorrect way to play with an rc. Just enjoy it the way it is or do whatever upgrades or anything with it. However there is a incorrect way with lipos if not careful
I've got a arrma kraton v5 6s like yours they brilliant motor plus I charge my electric to max8 electric more power better because the old esc plays up a lot keeps shutting down so I charge the All the the electric too max8 no problems 😊

Don't bother to learn it or pronounce it correctly, you may not be interested in the person in the first place. If you are a true enthusiast, Brand matters! Lol! It's probably hard to be a pro RUclipsr and not be biased for some. But I will reserve that judgement for when I see your comparison vid with the Sledge. #youloveTraxxaxMore
I have been trying to decide on my second RC, and I am pretty sure it will be the Kraton 6s V5. But I do worry that I will get one, then they will release a V6
@@outsourcedrc Yeah, especially since the Kraton v5 was released a few years ago (2020?), and only really had the Fireteam out since then? Then Traxxas just released the Sledge, so I would expect a good response right?
I hear ya, uncertainty. I had that same concern before buying the V5. The lack of mechanical and electronic changes in the Fireteam hinted to me that Arrma still sees this as a fresh platform. If Arrma drastically changes the platform to something that can't be adapted to previous gens, you're going to have a lot of pissed off owners out there.😆
I can't wait to see you run the kraton and your thoughts on it. I also bought one last week and haven't even ran it yet just ordered some gens ace basher 6800 mah 120c batteries can't wait to get it running. I'll stay tuned!

Nope. Just the standard price with the current discount that Horizon is doing.
If you play with it correctly you will love it. As you already know, you'll want to put thicker diff oil in the center. I run 20mil in mine.
What makes it correct? I would think the correct way to play with it is the way that makes you the happiest and brings the most joy to your face :)
