    This is one of your best videos! I realize I'm late to the party with my comment, but I admire your honesty and down to earth approach. I share your aggravation with repairs and/or troubleshooting. In addition, I envy your situation as you have at least three different surfaces to run and test on. I have to drive quite a way to find anything similar. Keep on bashing and smiling!

    The Spektrum servos are junk, take full advantage of that 2 year warranty! I have a Kraton v5, my first servo went out after 2 runs, I didn't set the endpoints first so it died prematurely. Second one is going out after ~20 runs, still way too short of a lifespan. I also have an Outcast EXB, it came with a dead servo from the factory. Also have a Big Rock and it's gone through a servo already.
    I picked up a Sledge this weekend and it feels way more controllable, planted, and plush than my Kraton. It lands big jumps drama free in comparison, almost like an X-Maxx.

      @Fearless-RG 2 года назад

      depends on the size of the battery you buy, 5000 can last from 15 minutes to and hour, then you have your larger batters like your 6000's to your 7000's etc which can obviously last way longer so it all depends on how you as a person drive the car

      @@outsourcedrc I enjoy watching your videos as u tend to laugh alot and enjoy what your doin.also you tend to have reasonable sized ramps u hit nonstop and your trucks don't tend to break much or require tons of upgrades to do so. Which is really refreshing compared to other ppl who are doin 50foot jumps and paying 1000$ in upgrades to there rcs. I used to look at a truck and think man if I buy that Ima have to spend hundreds so it don't break. Then I found your channel and know differently now. Awhile ago u said u needed to change what ur doin because ppl kept wanting u to review cars and it was costing to much. I was wondering if you have any videos or can make some of you simply playing and having fun with cars you already own?. For example I own an arrma notorius and I like seeing how others play with it but for the most part. RUclipsrs do a review and maybe play with it a few times then move on to the newest thing and the v5 was almost a year ago so u can imagine there is not really any new videos on it.which is the same for other rcs. Look at the mt8 for example. BTW a Lil over a year ago u made a video saying I need help and u went on to talk about the notorius wing and differential and never gave an update. Did the new wing work? What did u do for the diff? I've heard of ppl cutting drill bits and Alan keys down to replace those diff pins.

    Change your pinion gear to a 16t and yes running the wires do suck but once you set your Kraton up and tuned you shouldn't have many issues . The kraton is a better handling machine! It also jumps better and lands smoother in this video! The kraton has perfected this platform! It's more a race truggy the traxxas is a beefier basher I'd say! Had a kraton before probably the best rc basher! I now have a losi 8eight te 3.0 and it's a quality racing truggy you can't compare a rtr with the losi! But I'd never buy a traxxas! Arrma is my favorite rtr brand! The 4s and 6s line up is so wide in range and off course price! Traxxas are a rip off! 300 dollars difference in 6s trucks! I can spend that 300 on upgrades to arrma that put it in another league to a stock traxxas! Just my opinion good video nice place there To bash! Thanks!

    Been loving the punch increse you recomended but changing the centre fluid makes it even better, Love it! Just keeps way more power going to the back wheels so drives alot better and wondering if would help witht he wierd flipping behaviour you mention.. maybe it depends what the wheels are doing and how that centre diff splits the power.. like if only the back\front wheels are spinning, its going to be easier for the power to escape there, rather than evenly split, which means only half the wheel mass for air contro.... just a random thought, could be way off, but since it does different things and loose diffs are unpredictable.. I went 500k but want to go to 1m like others.. plan to upgrade to the metal diff case at the same time. I know you wanna keep stock.. I did for ages too, guess can depend how ya drive but I was in small dirt patches so stops, starts and tight turns just meant there was always a wheel balooning and it drove more like a fwd which makes sence as all the weight shifts back and they become so much easier tp spin than the planted rears... Anyways.. sorry for the novel
