In Sweden that is a 900usd car w/o battery. And I would have to start to fix "some issues" right out of the box??? No way my money is going in that direction until obvious flaws are fixed !
I got my sledge today it the blue body ,the tires were all glued but check all the screws. Most of the screws were loose, especially on the diff covers on the front an rear. I used fuel line for my rear shocks. It runs an handles great, one of the best handling RC CARS I'VE ever driven.
If only Losi would now pick up where Traxxas left off! *and Arrma for tha matter*... they should release a "Basher Truggy" in the form of a "TLR Roller Kit".. 😅😂😂Ohhh how I'd be all about that!!! They had the LST... now just give us the TLR LBT!! LosiBasherTruggy!😂 They did the collab with ARRMA for the TLR Typhon... they need to do a collab with Traxxxas for the TLR Sledge!!!
Colors out of the box are always different then the press photos. I just picked up a green X-maxx yesterday and I was disappointed that my least favorite livery was the only one available at Hobbytown. But the color is growing on me and I’m really glad it’s what I got.
The orange is my favorite body color for the Sledge, it looks perfect! Would love to see you run this against the Revo. Prices are going up, let's hope the durability and performance scales with it!

Has anyone used the Sledgehammer tires on the Rustler 4x4 VXL? I’ve broken a front axle during 3ft jump off a grass hill onto grass (It landed on the edge of the tire). I contacted Traxxas and they told me to loosen the slipper clutch half a turn to remove pressure off the driveline. I wasn’t sure about this response from Traxxas. I do release the throttle when landing any jump to avoid driveline shock.
I found a random pice of metal inside my front shock on my maxx. I waited 3 months drove for a week until I sent it 20 feet up. The shock didn't come back down I thought it was bent untill I took it apart. If I could add pictures everyone would be surprised what it did to the shock.
Right a red one lol like the one in back of you lol. 🤣 glad you got one and I'm glad you got both I really hope you have fun with both and they both blow your mind

I may be crazy or blind but isn't that a Kraton on the table with your Sledge?
From what I understand, there's supposed to be an O-ring in there already. It's there in the schematics but seems to be missing in many Sledges.
My sledge didn't come with o rings and it doesn't show them in the diagrams. I think this was a good, quick catch by Traxxas.

I decided to keep my E-Revo. It's so unique, nothing else out there like it.

Styrofoam is usually preferable. Had a Losi came loose bouncing around in the box because of cardboard.
Absolutely. For the cost we pay for the Saints it is nice to have Styrofoam when you know it’s pretty dang not likely for to get broken

Some people have reported that their manuals don’t show the O rings. I think those are an earlier version

Almost bought the Sledgehammer. But I have so many Traxxas cars I went with the Losi super Baja rey. Real world problems
Don't forget to check your center diff oil. 20 mil weight. Ya might need some silicone ear plugs.
