Thw funny thing about watching new ALNST fans is they dont know how hard the wait for round 6 was.
Having All-In, top 3, Mizisua, and cover songs all drop before round 6 was so depressing every upload then round 6 came out and well......yea....we kinda broke twitter
There is a lot of extra stuff in the ALNST twitter like mini-comics and little insider to the characters. Since round 6 was around April fools they made a side series called "actor au" and yea people took to that seriously
It's good to see that you've heard the covers! Sua's version of 'ruler of my heart' is like a caress in the ear. Even if I love Luka's version, the feeling it gives you is similar to discomfort. While Sua's is sweet and soft with a touch of romance.

As much as i find Luka being an interestingly written character, something about him just makes my skin crawl... Sua's version is just perfect for me, I can listen to Ruler Of My Heart without ominous feeling !

It's pretty sure that he didn't have to participate again in the competition but volunteered to do so with his new song 'Ruler of my heart'.This is stated in a patron only lore interview.
The song is directed towards Hyuna and how he heralds her as the ruler of his heart. How she is his saviour and the darkness they both share is something special. They both had a friendship in childhood and it was ruined by hyuna's brother getting hurt. Maybe he wants to her to hear this song and remember that he still loves her.

Aye wanna know something? The score would've probably been 89/90 had ivan not done what he did. We can see by ivans round that he got a score of 90. It would've been a 1 point difference once again, like mizi and sua.

Well, I have an anime I wanna recommend that's even more depressing than this show...though it has a lot of trigger warnings. Would you be interested? It's implied BL but that isn't the main plot of it.

I live in Ao3 because of Ivan and Sua, forever delusional that is my way
I think Luka's blue fingertips are caused by Raynaud's Disease, it's nothing super significant it's a pretty common condition (my dad has it), but can flare up when you're either cold or under stress or anxiety (the blood vessels in your hands spasm/seize up which is what causes the discolouration) so he may not be quite as heartless as people think, he's likely doing what he thinks he needs to survive but he's just going about it like a psycho :')
Either that or none of this is true and it's just a random character design choice that means literally nothing LOL
He apparently has a number of health conditions such a cronic migraines and asthma as well, and it may be a reach but it could be a reflection of bc the humans are treated as pets here, its like when dogs and cats, specially popular breeds, end up with lots of health conditions bc of poor breeding
i think luka's blue fingertips are caused by... dying mizi's hair after the mizisua round=))))

Mizis hair is acutally blue because she dyed it! theres no correlation between her and lukas fingers. in an extra she stated that she was very excited for the tournament and wanted to dye her hair and dress up (which is quite sad since that means that she had no idea that Sua was going to die.)

I should apologize too you may have noticed that I have a lot of trouble with words and expressing myself (and English is not my mother language). I think by "weaker" I wanted to say that his voice sounds softer and less "angry" than Mizzie version? But that doesn't mean that a softer voice carries less emotions, on the contrary! (And tbh i relate more with Ivan story and character so I understand the need for clarification QAQ)
I don't know if I will manage to convey my point clearly but if we take the stage of grief for example, I see Mizzie (and her version by extension) in anger, whereas Ivan is stuck in resignation (acceptation comes in round 6?)... So just like you said, and I agree more with your in parentheses point, both version are not equal, they are the interpretation of once feeling and must be seen as such! 💫

people like luka because he’s fictional, and people can enjoy good messed up characters. if he was a real person they obviously wouldn’t like him but it’s okay to like his character and root for him even though you acknowledge that he sucks. don’t let fiction determine your morals in reality. i totally understand those who hate him lol, that’s completely valid but it’s also valid to like him just cause he’s pretty or you have a deep headcanon about him. it doesn’t mean you actually condone his actions in reality, cause he doesn’t exist.
@starseedgaon Hihi, first of all, thank you for your perspective :] You are truly valid in saying a good written antagonist/villain can be enjoyable because it gives a show spice, and perhaps the more reason to root for the antagonised/victim. I was just worried about all the young ladies who were of the consensus that he is good-looking and whatnot. It did not help that those whom were reacting were V-tubers, so I could not read their real facial expressions, hahah. I was merely too concerned with the topic of lack of consent and maybe narcism that was somehow attractive to them and did not want others to condone these characteristics in potential partners.
So, maybe I was too eager to draw parallels with fictional and real-life scenarios. Do not worry, moreover, for it did not spoil my experience with the series or how I view the characters :3
@@plenilunium thank you for the understanding reply, i was afraid i may have come across too harsh. i do tend to be cautious of people who defend male characters bad actions if they don’t treat female villains or morally grey characters the same. but generally when people make comments like “i can fix him”, it’s an ironic (?) joke, everyone knows that saying doesn’t fly in real life, it’s usually just a joke used for fucked up characters. some people do find toxic traits in fiction attractive, whether because they’re a victim or they just really enjoy it in the realm of fiction where real people aren’t getting hurt. it’s totally valid to be uncomfy about it though. however you wish to engage with media is fine, as long as you’re not harming yourself or others, and can separate fiction from reality. totally get wym about not being able to read tone lol, i suck at it so bad
