I kinda like the fact that Blitzo’s apology to Verosika didn’t resolve things the same way it did with Fizz. I like it when shows show that not every apology ends with straight up friendship. Verosika clearly wants to see Blitzo become a new person but is definitely making it clear she wants distance while he does it.
That or she is probably waiting to see if he is actually going to do it and isn't just making empty promises. Either way, I agree, and I really do like how it was handled.
I mean, they also had a way different relationship than Fizz and Blitz, and also in Fizz' case it was more of an accident/actual misunderstanding than in Verosika's.
Blitzo hurting Fizz though caused by Blitzo was an accident, Blitzo breaking up with Verosika was entirely on Blitzo's book. Understandable that the latter is harder to mend.
Absolutely. Sometimes full forgiveness is impossible. This felt more like closure, at least on Verosika's part, like she'll never be a friend or ally to Blitz, but maybe she no longer needs to be an enemy. Maybe this year's "F Blitzo" Party might be her last.
Verosika actually trying to help Blitzø see the error of his ways is sweet. The moment with her really emphasises that she doesn't just want to hate Blitzø to hate him. Sure he's awful, but she's able to finally open his eyes so he can understand it, and why he should. Hopefully this will be his final wake up call.
It’s cute how Stolas blushes when Verosika gives him a kiss on the cheek. Not in a “let the ship sail” kind of way, it’s just sweet that a friendly greeting is enough to get him flustered because it’s not something he’s used to. And I like seeing Verosika being this warm and welcoming person when she’s not performing or dealing with Blitz. It’s easy to portray “the big ex” of a story’s protagonist solely as the spiteful one who needs to let it go and move on while they try to ruin any relationship the protagonist might get into. Rather, she’s shown to be over the relationship but not over how bad it _ended,_ so she waits for the other people he’s still hurting with a drink and a hug.
Also I like that despite being a succubus that you expect her to be the “bad” one in a relationship, like cheating or not taking relationships seriously, but it seems like as a succubus she’s in tune with other people, she’s warm and welcoming and does know a lot about love and I LOVE THAT! Reminds me of how you expect gluttony to not care just like greed, but instead gluttony encourages you to indulge in your desires to have *FUN!* because that’s the point of gluttony, to enjoy yourself. But immediately puts a stop to it if your like Blitzo who isn’t being a glutton to enjoy himself but to drink his sorrows away
I love that verosica literally hands him his bleeding heart on a plate symbolizing both how she freely offered her heart to him and he broke it, AND how his heart is also hurting now because of his own actions
Now that S2's over, I saw someone mention that him calling Stolas "my heart" in Mastermind adds extra depth to this, as when he left Stolas at the party, he left his heart, too.
Verosika is the only person who finally realizes that blitz hates himself more than anyone at that party could possibly hate him. Because what's worse than being the person who breaks everyone's heart? Being so broken that you don't think you deserve anyone's heart in the first place.
Yeah I mean she gave him advice then called him by his preferred name and instead of immediately walking off to find vortex she stayed up there and talked with him. It took a lot for both of them to be able to do that
Ok but can we all appreciate Bryce Pinkham (Stolas’s voice actor) for the way he nailed this ep? The way he delivers Stolas’s drunk voice and sadness is just *chef’s kiss*
He and Brandon (Blitzø's voice) just devour every scene they're in, especially emotional ones. I feel like Bryce has more and more fun playing Stolas the deeper the show gets.
Blitzøs realization was painful but necessary… the way he realized how much his actions hurt people and his jealousy towards stolas being with someone else at the end hurttt
@@kevinshanahanii4966 He's.. not a bad person. There's a difference between that and so broken that you're an asshole. He was never bad in the context of the show. He is, however, an asshole that just got a harsh dose of reality, and a realization that came too late.
@hazakurasuyama9016 If people can care about someone as bad as Blitzø, you are amazing, and you underestimate yourself. What is there to hate about someone with as much potential as you? Nothing is being wasted as you are still here, and that is the best gift to those who care. You aren't deserving of your own hate because there is nothing to hate. If you dont like something about yourself, find a way to improve it. You have so much potential and it's not too late.
Everyone's unpacking Blitz and Stolas' relationship in this. Meanwhile, I'm hysterical over the fact that the teacher lady from the first episode is in a relationship with her husband's old mistress - whom she hired I.M.P. to kill no less.
The way stolas looked at blitz for permission to go dance stands out to me so much. I haven’t seen anyone mention it, but the fact stolas wanted to make sure blitz was okay with him dancing with that guy despite how upset and hurt he was… augh.
Stolas is still love him so deeply... so as Blitzo's exs. That's why Verosika hosts the party. The break-up truly hurts them, since they truly loved Blitzo before
Tbh this episode made me realize how different HB and HH deals with breakups or issues in a relationship. For example in HH Charlie and Vaggie get over their problems in 1 episode wish it was 2-3 episodes of buildup them getting together not directly saying "Sorry i forgive you" kind of thing.
I actually believe Verosika’s way of acknowledging Blitz being genuine of his apology. She may still resent him, but he may be reluctant to some degree about it. He’s really being honest.
"Do you hear yourself" Verosica destroyed him with this line before explaining how it felt to be heartbroken. So also I was expecting blitz to say "I learned it from a prince" if verosica ever judged that how blitz suddenly be able to feel sorry. But it didn't happen since verosica believed himls sincererity without any second verification from him
But stolas clearly made his point extremely straightforward by explaining that people need to care to hate someone when blitz said that he doesn't believe that anyone can care about him
I love how this episode actually showed Verosika as a character, and not just one of Blitz’s exs. She is such an interesting character who gave advice to Blitz and realized that he hurts people because he himself is hurting. I hope she doesn’t fully forgive Blitz, as she has every right to hate him, but sees him as more than just Blitzo the bitch who hurt so many people Also, what the hell is going on? The UTTP went from spam and being just annoying, to promoting p3d0philia and z00philia????
The way Verosika calls him Blitz and offers him some cake after realizing he hates himself. Between this and the party, I’d say this is the reason why Tex is in her posse. She’s like Bee in that she engages in her sin, but she cares where it counts. Putting together a party where people can not only vent, but they can also find camaraderie and perhaps a new love if only for the night, isn’t a succubus thing. It’s a healing thing. Verosika found that way to help others heal, and it’s really nice to see this other side of her
I like that it shows that their not just all sh***y being but they are actually more like people. Though makes sense since a lot of their are human souls, but they do things to help each other, gives them depth and makes characters more complex, it's how good writing is done.
@@alexandralite835 technically Verosika is a hell-born and doesn’t seem to really care about humans that much, but I think that’s relatively detached from who she really is as a person. Like how Millie can eviscerate an entire mafia gang or military squad but is still probably one of the sweetest gals her side of Wrath
As someone who takes a psychology class in college, its genuinely amazing to me how blitzø was written Its a bit of a mix of many unique psychological mentalities Blitzø firstly hates himself and doesnt believe he deserves love, so he runs away from people when they try to love him Hes afraid he wont be good enough or hell hurt someone, so he tries to push people away, not realizing thats what hurts them And lastly, he cant comprehend the fact that someone could care about him, thinking everyone looks down on him because he looks down on himself Ive shared a similar mentality to blitzø myself, scared that ill hurt people and pushing them away, not knowing that pushing them away is what hurts them the most Its not easy to get over this mentality, but how it was written in this show is genuinely amazing and makes me think vivzie has not only studied psychology, but possibly experienced this mentality for herself Psychological problems like this are hard to write into a fictional character, especially this well
@milbo06 yea, I love when shows or books give main characters psychological flaws like this But theyre very hard to write, so when they're done well, they're amazing I myself am a fledgling author and I usually write my main characters with psychological issues that plays into their character arc alongside the main story For example my latest short story has a character who's a detective, but she has massive superiority problems Not that she thinks she's better than everyone, but that she can't handle the idea of not being better, when she can't do something she has panic attacks and she actively avoided help because she believes she has to do things on her own It's not the main focus of the story as she's a detective and that's the main focus, but it plays into her character arc that happens during the course of the main conflict But again, writing mental issues like this is a big risk, not only do you have to make it believable, you have to handle it with a lot of respect, because messing up something like that could receive you a lot of backlash
You reiterated the same point 3 times but in different words. Plus Blitzo is easy to write about, the hard part is the characters accepting this and taking responsibility.
I like how blitzø may have been going through the 5 stages of grief because he starts in denial, denying that stolas doesn’t want to hookup anymore then he goes through anger by blowing up at stolas then he tried bargaining by saying that stolas will like him if he apologizes to everyone he wronged then he got depressed because he realized he has been so bad to so many people and accepts that he needs to be a better person
The irony of Blitz not accepting/realising people care about him while at a party full of people that loved him so much they get together to commiserate how awful it was to lose him is just the most beautiful, heartbreaking thing ever
This episode was both uplifting and utterly heartbreaking. Stolas has it nailed when he says, " You have an entire party full of people who cared about you. Do you realise how much you have to care to do something this stupid? " Blitz goes around assuming that he's unloved but never sees all the people who have loved him and been rejected. His armour of self-hatred is so thick he can't see past it 😢
" His armour of self-hatred is so thick he can't see past it" At first,Blitz didn't see it. At the end of the episode, he sees it now,at least a little. Regardless of when it started, Blitz has hurt people and I hope he does begin to change things for the better. Maybe he and Stolas will get back together but they work on their individual issues before then
The sad part is when they were still at the mansion Blitz almost opened up about his true feelings and Stolas was receptive to it but his pride stopped him cause he couldn't say I'm sorry or admit that self hatred is most of his problem.
I wish you were talk about how Stolas contributed to blitzo's way of thinking, Stolas used him for pleasure and blitzo used stolas for the book. That's why blitzo said Stolas is all about sex, and dont blame him for that at all.
@Ll_ring00 oh yeah, Stolas definitely added to the already existing issue for sure. He couldn't express his feelings in any other way but innuendo, so it feeds into blitz feelings of only being good for that. By the time Stolas actually makes attempts to try to be or act, romantic blitz is so used to their dynamic that it comes across as just another form of foreplay not a genuine gesture.
I kinda love how the fact that when blitz reveals himself to stolas at the bar after the song, even though stolas is drunk and hurt and angry, he still worries enough to make sure blitz is properly covered in the tablecloth and leads him away somewhere safer and quieter to talk without blitz getting hurt
@@am_Nein Stolas cares for someone who'd once have jumped down his throat and snapped his neck, to take him for all he had. 😔😥😔And told him "it was love".
@@Julia-ek2kn OMG I thought she did that because in film and animation you generally want to have the faces onscreen uncovered. But the prison symbolism is perfect!
I now see her in such a different way. Hell is such a broken place and the duality of Verosika really shows that well in my opinion. It's nice to see the other side of her and that can really be applied to anyone. Don't always judge people by the front they give. You never know what brought them to that place or what they do on the side when no one is watching.
It seems to be a pattern in Helluva Boss. Some recurring characters seemed like assholes when first introduced but then we get to see their full selves. Fizz, Ozzie, Verosika, Stolas, even Tex at first. And yes, Blitz (especially in the pilot).
Stolas just hitting the emergency stop button on crying and masking up was the most relatable moment ever. I really hope he remembers everything after he sobers up. This episode was perfect
The way he stops crying is exactly what I did when I wasn't allowed to cry as a kid. You know, the out-of-breath sounds and closing your eyes because I didn’t want the tears to fall out. Just, omg😭
DAWG this episode is INSANE but although a genuinely great episode , hear me out the mix of realisation and heartbreaking blitzø had to go throughout is hard but it’s A NEED and the fact verosika actually cared for him to be a better person is just .. , the only thing I FUCKING hate about this episode the part that stolas kissed with another person it’s FUCKING SAD
19:30 it's a nice touch to see verosika ironically "serving her heart on a silver platter". It shows she is actually at peace. She can give him her heart and walk away without caring whether he accepts or rejects it. She's finally free. But then there's the added layer that it isn't actually her heart but blitzo's heart on the plate. She offers him his own heart on the silver platter and he rejects it. He spelled it out earlier in the episode but he clearly doesn't think he deserves to be loved and one of the most basic bits of relationship advice is that you can't love anyone else until you learn to love yourself. He can't love stolas until he believes he deserves to be loved himself.
You could also say that since the cake is oozing a bit, it means his heart is hurting by how much he’s treated the people around them, like stolas or verosika. It really goes to show how bad he feels now that he looks at the other party members in disgust of himself
Pero el detalle ahí está desde que murió nuestra madre el ya no pudo volver a amar a alguien por qué a mamá era la única que lo amaba nos amábamos los tres por igual
15:48 so idk if anyone noticed, but when blitz tries to comfort stolas by touching him, the song goes "don't touch the pretty things". I love that detail SO much
At 19:23, I for real thought Verosika was going to say “it starts with sorry” as a hazbin hotel reference. But it obviously makes more sense to say “good for him” considering that the episode shows that apologizing cant fix everything, and sometimes you have to accept things as they are.
y'know it's kinda amazing how hazbin is focused on sorrying your way to fixing everything and helluva is focusing on that saying sorry doesn't fix everything, they complement each other so well
That depends on what to be sorry for and any chance to do better. A broken heart and events with wounds too big aren't something a sorry can cover alone. Anything less, may have a chance to redeem and learn from mistakes made. And that's still a BIG may.....
I mean, that works if they're finally killing off this forced "Stolas always had feelings for Blitz" nonsense once and for all. Otherwise it's just going back to Stolas being a cheating pile of bird droppings like the pilot which, finally some character consistency I guess?
At 15:45, right as Blitz was about to touch Stolas, the song gets louder, saying "Dont touch that pretty thing." Such a small detail but the work everyone has put into this is incredible.
"The *first* time?!" Huh. Somehow I never put it together that Stolas didn't know that Striker had been hired to assassinate him at the harvest moon festival.
Binging the series for the first time. Definitely the best episode so far. I love the "everybody here cares a lot" part. Most shows dont dare go that deep.
The part where Stolas says “there’s an entire group of people who have a party about hating you, every year” is amazing. In relationships usually you cannot hate someone without loving them first, as that hatred is due to being hurt
19:28 i really like the amount of symbolism in verosika giving the cake heart to blitz. on one hand it felt like it meant "closure" on her end after he apologized and shes finally gives him his heart back that shes been holding onto. i think its paired with the wake up call she already gave him about how people have been hurt by him, including her, in the "worst way possible" at their most vulnerable. and all of that happens while blitz heart was already bleeding. he has such a dark view of what vulnerability looks like (prolly cuz of his dad) that he shames it in others and himself. he hates himself so bad he not only makes himself pay for it(self sabotage is an understatement) but ANYONE who even thinks about getting "serious" with him specifically too, he hates them. ironically that apology was a "peice of cake." he doesnt even eat his own heart out lol
I also saw it as a clear reference to the phrase “eat your heart out.” Which is essentially what Blitzø’s been doing. He’s jealous, feeling deep regret, and he’s longing for something now (supposedly) out of reach due to his own actions.
3:50 I've been Stolas in this scene. "I've done LITERALLY EVERYTHING POSSIBLE. I Am DONE trying to PROVE that I love you. At this point, you need to chose to accept it, or get out. I want you, but I am done needing to justify everything I've ever done because you have some twisted idea that I don't love you, that it's all an act... I'm tired."
Shame time for me, I guess: I was Blitzø in this situation. When everyone around you puts an act to cope with the fact they have to deal with you being there, you see them smile at you, talk nicely and even act friendly just to crush you and make you feel like the most worthless being in the entirety of the universe... you just stop trusting people and just ask "when is he/she going to betray me or abandon me and destroy my feeling again?" and the idea of being genuinely loved by somebody else, especially somebody that you look up to and ask yourself "how the fuck does somebody this great/beautiful/interesting pay attention to me, care for me or even love me?" Your only thpught is... it's a lie and as always nobody actually even wants you there, nobody cares for you, nobody tries to understand you and nobody loves you. Yeah, Blitz fucked it up sooooooo hard, but I can't really blame him since my best friend is a wonderful swordsman, an amazing blacksmith and a fucking genius and my girlie, the love of my life, is so damn beautiful, sweet and pure... I just can't help but expect the moment they all leave me and wonder how bad I'll be devastated since I'm just... me, a nobody with no impressive skills, just a dreamer that can't fulfill their dream of being a musician or a damn doctor cause I'm both useless and fucking stupid and too much of a coward to take my own life. I am Blitzø, and I can assure you it's the most painful shit I've ever went through, surpassing by far the time my brother-from-another-mother betrayed me and tried to murder me after humilliating me in front of the ones I called close friends. Yeah... can't help but wait fir the moment I'm betrayed, but unlike Blitz I'm unable of hurting the ones I care and I just end up at the brink of death trying to get enough courage to take my own life
@@lokisrevivalif you have people who truly care for you why do you want to end it? You say you'll hurt them, but I assure you you'll hurt them more by ending your life. Everything may feel futile and meaningless, but as long as you have those few people in your life who truly care about you; keep living.
Huh... this is actually a really interesting bit of subtext that I haven't seen people picking up on. She's aware that he's a shitty person because, fundamentally, he believes *himself* to be a shitty person, and she wants to show everyone Blitzø has wronged that it can be OK, and the people he's wronged include himself.
I'm SO glad Stolas got onstage and sang out his grievances with Blitzo. Not just for the sake of emotionally healing, but for the applause and praise he got for his musical talent. This dude gets SO little love and affection, I'm SO glad he got a whole crowd to appreciate what he had to give in that moment.
Especially after Stella’s cruel comment in “The Circus” about how no one wants to listen to him sing about his pain during the “Owl in a Cage” song, it’s nice to hear someone appreciate Stolas as he bears his soul.
I love how we get to see the caring side of Verosika in this episode. The fact that she hosted the party to help other's vent and heal is quite nice of her. And the way she happily greets Stolas and asked how he's doing is sorta like a way of helping him a bit. It's so nice to see this side of her. :)
Okay, I’ve recovered from the last episode but this still hurts and I didn’t cry but I did tear up this was a difficult one to watch but the song was really beautiful! Bryce’s performance for the song was amazing and I had no words but the argument ALMOST got me! It was a lot to process that this happened. I really hope Stolas and Blitzø will talk things out soon! This was a wonderful episode! Amazing episode, Vivzie!
I like the detail of Moxxie being the first person that Blitz thinks to include on his apology list, but also one that never gets crossed out. Really emphasizes how the initial "apology tour" was only meant for people that he _doesn't_ actually care about
I like that Verosika got shed a bit of light and they showed her being actually nice and caring, from her interaction to Stolas to the fact that she throws the party to help people cope, to her being decent towards Blitz. And getting to know her backstory a little bit better was great too. Shes not the villain, and she's not a bad person, she's just hurt.
Verosika hosted these parties not to shame any of Blitzø's exes, but to reassure them that they're not alone in what they're going through. She was so nice to Stolas the entire night 😭 I fricken love herrr💗🖤
Omg same! I hated her at first but now I realize she is actually so nice! I love how she wanted to let everyone who has gone through that experience comfort and let them all know they are not alone.
Verosika giving Blitzø a heart cake was so touching. I like how this implies she is trying to encourage him to develop compassion for the people he hurt.
Heh, I viewed it as telling him to eat his heart out at the things he did. Maybe it would've been done that way earlier, but your interpretation makes way more sense in that particular moment.
18:30 I love the moment at the end of the episode when it became clear that Verosika really wants to help Blitz change, and through this party she showed him the extent of how many people he had hurt. it was nice to finally see Stolas happy, even if he was drunk he felt loved
Yeah i totaly agree i was kinda surprised by Verosika and it just showes how mutch more mature she is and i realy hope Blitz is lerning from her advise
Blitzø is learning the hardest part about saying sorry, even if people accept your apology and you do want to change…it doesn’t fix what you’ve already done.
A lot of people are pointing out the cake's symbolism at the end, but I find Blitzø's disguise more interesting. Right before seeing Stolas sing, he puts on a white table cloth with red stains: the inverse coloring of his red skin with white scars. The disguise symbolizes an internal shift where Blitzø accepts that he hurt everyone as he hears Stolas conclude that he simply must not care, which juxtaposes how he does indeed care. This causes him to pull the tablecloth further over his face towards the song's end while his lips wrinkle with discontent as his understanding deepens. I speculate that Blitzø had this realization at all because this seems like the first time he didn't initiate a break-up, which obviously caught him off-guard. So he realizes the severity of his wrongdoings--because now he feels like a victim too. It's not surprising that Blitzø, to be true to himself, shows his scars to the whole party, literally and metaphorically, by apologizing, especially to Stolas. You could say that his behavior is written all over him.
I never put that part of his 'disguise' together, but you're right. I really liked that his 'disguise' basically looked like walking around in a blanket, because that + his posture through a good part of it really conveyed his insecurity and emotions. People don't wrap themselves up in blankets because they're feeling comfortable or confident.
Now we understand why Blitz keeps stalking Millie and Moxxie: he cant fathom a real relationship, how someone could care so much for eachother. He engages in all kinds of one night stands just to feel a single drop of connection, just to run away when things get serious because his self-esteem issues are so big that he belives none could want him
Have you been not watching this show? His self loathing has been pretty obvious for a while now. If you just now realize it you weren't really paying attention.
This is so good yet heartbreaking. Blitz being jealous over what he knows he can't have anymore (Stolas), Verosika realizing he hates himself so much he basically need the party as well, Stolas putting it clearly that Blitz is what he still wants even after everything but is SO HURT by what he said. Ugh
Time heals all wounds, and eventually they’ll get back on good terms. Both of them are seen being attacked by something with Blitz having to defend Stolas, which qualifies as a potential silver lining.
@@yo-kaimaster2826 I'm almost 100% certain that Blitz will be defending Stolas from Paimon. In the trailer we can see Paimon calling someone a disgrace (there is not a lot of possible recipients of that insult) and then his shadow over terrified Stolas clinging to Blitz. I guess the news of Stolas divorcing Stella and dating an imp will finally reach Paimon and make him incredibly angry since he is classist and narcissistic, thinking that it's embarassing for a member of Ars Goetia, especially the Prince, to date someone from a lower class. Though I can't help but wonder, why has no one done anything about Stella literally hiring an assasin to off Stolas? He is the Prince of Hell, EVERYONE knows it was her, she even said it out loud herself. Why is that not a punishable offense, but dating an imp is?
@@trappedfan5206 That was not Paimon in the trailer, but apparently Satan. The common fan theory is that Blitzø is defending him from Andrealphus, based on the look of the ground and another trailer shot where Andrealphus fans out his tail feathers. But the two definitely aren't done interacting with each other this season, even if there is an episode or two where they don't.
@@trappedfan5206 I'd probably vote that Stella has everyone around her finger, along with Stolas reputation being a imp lover, everyone is probably just ignoring or enjoying the shitshow. From what I can see, Stolas seems to be the black sheep of the Ars Goetia family, at least socially.
Blitz's face during Stolas's song says that it actually meant something to him. Maybe Blitz didn't care about anyone else at that party. But he cared about Stolas.
@@infinas33k It means it's really his default way of talking and thinking. He isn't trying to look pretentious, he's just read so many books more than he has ever had conversations.
My heart absolutely shattered into millions of pieces when Stolas started talking about wanting someone to want him, wanting someone to miss him, wanting someone to hold him, wanting someone to love him. I cannot even stress enough how strongly I relate to Stolas so much just WANTING to be in love, this beautiful emotionally, brokenhearted character is my comfort character honestly
@@aquarius1995 Hey don't you dare fking say that, I had that exact same thing, 3 years of my life I ain't ever getting back, but trust, we get there fam, don't punish yourself for someone else's shittiness, someone who will appreciate you will find their way to you, it just takes time & some reflection on things
The fact that when Stolas sees Blitz in the party he pushes the cover down so nobody can recognize him, knowing that he could be killed there;( ma boy Stolas is too precious for this world
2:19 “So what are you doing here then?” IS SUCH A GOOD QUESTION STOLAS, CARE TO ANSWER BLITZØ??? AHHH I have a love-hate relationship with this episode :,)
13:20 I love how, even though he's drunk off his tail and hurting, Stolas still goes out of his way to protect and shelter Blitz from the rest of the party crowd, herding him into a less populated room.
What hit me was that Blitz tried to confort Stolas by touching his back. Just to pull it away because he was trying to respect Stolas's hurt feelings. He wouldn't do it when Stolas was looking, which showcases how uncomfortable Blitz is by showing affection or concern. Being vulnerable. I want to know what Blitz was going to say before being interrupted. Also, Blitz takes Stolas crying super seriously. Both times Blitz's face just drops and I feel like he has an opportunity to respond to Stolas with feelings. I think those two moments were really a crack in Blitz armor of his own self hatred and shows how much he cares for Stolas. It's simply tragic that every opportunity for Blitz to show the side of him Stolas needs to see is interrupted.
I think he also pulled away/didn't do it when Stolas was looking because he can't tell if that kind of comfort, coming from him, would be welcome or a 'don't touch me' situation. But yes, Blitzø really let some serious walls down. Both of them did. I've said it in a few comments, but when Stolas says he wants to be told, "I want you and no one else," it's from Blitzø's POV. It's focused on Stolas, _no_ _one_ _else;_ you even can't see anyone else in the room. Blitzø is realizing that _is_ how he is feeling about Stolas, but he can't successfully express it or be it at that moment, even if he really wants to.
This was actually a very sad and heartfelt episode. I loved it, and this may be my favorite episode to cry to occasionally :] Amazing work Viv and especially the rest of the Helluva Boss team 💛
I love the scene at the end where Verosika and Blitzo actually have a real talk with each other after their breakup. It’s very easy to fall into the insults and barbs towards each other because it’s much easier than actually talking about your feelings. People rarely want to talk about how they feel, usually because they hate feeling vulnerable. Verosika probably felt very vulnerable when she told Blitzo she loved him, and that made it hurt even more when he left. Verosika, even though she could have insulted Blitzo during their whole conversation, is honest with him, both about her feelings on their breakup, and the other people here who are trying to heal, granted not in an entirely healthy way. She even sees how he hates himself, and doesn’t take the opportunity to mock him about it, and even gives him advice about what he should do to change. The most heartbreaking part is Blitzo leaving the party, and while leaving looks around and actually sees for the first time the people he has hurt, that while in any interactions after said breakups they have responded in anger, but that is because deep down they still care about him. I remember someone once said that hate comes from love, that we hate someone because they were either a threat to someone we love, or they were someone we once loved ourselves. The people at the party are there because they hate Blitzo, which in itself is because they all once loved him. They still care about him, which makes it hurt even more. Blitzo often treated anyone he met who was once in a relationship with him with insults, barbs and vitriol, because it was much easier than actually admitting to himself that he had hurt them. But now, he actually has to look at the people he has hurt with his actions, and accept that it was his fault. Self-reflection is never easy, especially when we don’t want to admit the worst parts of ourselves. Hopefully this can help Blitzo to become a better person, because it’s when we are at our lowest that we are open to change.
I made several arts for Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss, about character trivia, help me share and you will have fun if you are a true fan, I leave you the videos on my RUclips shorts
This similar situation happened once. I had to dish out an "I'm sorry". It sucked but, I was the bad guy there. It was hard admitting I was wrong. We all are in some way. Hell, I'm still wrong about some things. Having a genuine debate or heart to heart is incredibly difficult. I still have others to apologize to, and vice versa. I just need to wait until I get the chance to say sorry to them. And others would rather never speak to me again, and I'm fine with that. I just have to come to terms that I'm not the greatest person, that I have my flaws, that I'm... just me. That's all I'll ever be, so I might as well be a better one tomorrow instead of wishing I was yesterday.
Two things about this episode: One, I like how Stolas took a seat while telling Blitzø that he's never looked down on him. It's a nice little visual indicator that Stolas is literally trying to level with Blitzø, but of course Blitzø refuses to acknowledge that because of his self-hatred and fear of intimacy. Two, my dumb ass has just realized why Verosika is so bitter about Blitzø. She's a succubus, a female sex demon. Lust and seduction are the name of the game for her, so she's likely never settled down with just one partner until Blitzø. And yet she fell in love with this scrappy, vulgar imp...only for him to unceremoniously dump her after she tells him she loves him. No wonder she hates him so much. I'd imagine fear of heartbreak is the reason "Only little bitches strum the strings in their hearts" is a phrase at Ozzie's, too. When dealing with physical intimacy, getting too attached can lead to a lot of anguish. Hell, knowing Verosika is a succubus is probably why Blitzø started dating her in the first place. He probably thought "Any connection I have with her will be only physical, so there's nothing to fear with commitment!" Only after the relationship gets serious does he go on his heart-breaking streak, hoping to avoid getting too close to anyone. Sorry for the ramble, y'all. Have some cookies. 🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪
Ayo I never thought about it from the succubus perspective of verosika, that’s really fucking smart! I gift you cake 🎂 (or ice cream 🍦 or a cookie in return 🍪

@@HarleyQuinnSoldier sorry, I’m used to RUclips doing automatic translation. Google translate: No, I don't agree! It took Blitz a long time to sort out his feelings, and by the last episode he finally spoke about them!
I couldn't stop myself from crying for Verozica. THE VERY REASON BLITZ LEFT HER WAS BECAUSE SHE FELT SAFE ENOUGH TO SAY THAT SHE LOVED HIM. My heart.... it hurts... I want to give her such a big hug and tell her that there's nothing wrong with what she did... It's brave to feel
Because Blitz doesn't hide his negative emotions, only his positive emotions. It's easier to feel safe with someone who doesn't hide how much of an ass they are than with someone putting up a front. And in Hell, that would be a rare thing indeed.
I really like the line "That's a rom-com". From personal experience, I've seen many, MANY people romanticize the idea of a relationship and bend over backwards to try and make it like how they see it portrayed in media, unable to draw that line between fiction and reality. Relationships can be magical--but not always in that way. Moreover, they're often hard work in reality and require A LOT of communication, understanding, and even sacrifice from all parties involved. I know the episode was more aimed at Blitz's mistakes, but it also shows that Stolas also has an air of naiveté when it comes to having a relationship as well.
As someone who wants a romcom romance. It's not the beautified version I want. It's the choice. I want someone to choose me. Despite it being hard. For someone to look at me and say that I am what they want. Regardless of what else is out there.
@@amandacartier4465 I agree, I feel like he just needs affirmation that Blitzo cares and wants him, which makes sense because he’s never really had that in his life. We saw this when Blitzo asked him to Ozzie’s, or when the one guy asked him to dance he really appreciates little gestures like that.
I notice something. Stella always organize "i'm not divorced yet" for make Stolas miserable and have all the attentions for her. Verosika organize "hate Blitzø" party, not just for her hate for Blitzø, but for help all Blitzø's exes to find friends or partners
I absolutely LOVE seeing Stolas be snarky with Blitz, and Blitz not having a good reply to said snarkiness. It reminds me of seeing stars when Blitz makes fun of him for not remembering his spells, and Stolas immediately shoots back with, "Oh yea? If your memories so great, what's HIS phone number?" Very good 10/10 sas.

I like the symbolism with Verosika giving Blitzo the cake with a heart on it. She had given Blitzo his heart back in a way. @@SariniyaKiyu Hmmm I don't think that's the case. The heart is from a BLITZO shaped cake so I simply figured it's Verosika giving him his heart back in a way. Or at least that's how I interpreted it.

14:54 - 15:50 omg. Episode 11 just released and I think it's safe to say Stolas & Blitzo both had their big dramtic rom-com moment (tho, more of a rom-drama). I didn't really expect the stolitz arc to get to such an epic place, after this episode. Love the foreshadowing, in this moment!
I just love how Helluva boss has character growth making it feel like they’re real people with real problems and showing that things don’t always end up the way you want them too.
I think this was Blitzø’s much needed wake-up call. His chat with Verosika is one of the stepping stones to dealing with his past childhood trauma’s. His reconnecting with Fizz kick started the chain of events Blitzø needed to deal with his past. His father’s love was conditional, and he never felt good enough. The only person he felt truest loved him was his mom. When he lost her, it darkened his world, and due to that misunderstanding, losing Fizz, he lost his tether and ended up floating around. He had nothing grounding him and he felt lost. He’s afraid that everyone that is in his life, they’ll eventually see him the way he sees himself.
@UTTPSecuritybro no one asked if uttp is better than heluva boss if its so much better go watch it instead of heluva boss not everyone thinks the same as you
Honestly love the small details of Blitzo being in the single chair while Stolas is on the coach. Or Blitzo being behind the bars of the railing while Verosika is free. Showing how Blizto wont open his heart but Stolas will. And Verosika is free from their relationship, while Blitzo still feels trapped.
Can't really call her "free from their relationship". Looks like Blitz lives rent-free in a lot of heads, including hers. Otherwise the party wouldn't have happenned.
Ive Watched This Episode A LOT, And I Just Realized Ver’s Tattoo Says “Blitz” And She Got It Crossed Off, Bc Of The Break-up, She Rlly Did Care Abt Dating Blitz, She Got A Whole Tattoo Abt Him 😭💛
That part you mentioned it was so cool and really beautiful. In this episode I see that blizø is gettin out of his own problems and see what he did to others in that party and at the same time, there is characters as Verosika and Stolas who are understanding blitzø's behaivour. They are seeing how much he hates hiself and how he is trying to be better with the apology tour. Fun fact, blitzø wanted to discuss with Stolas in the first minutes of the episode and when Stolas said that he wants a sorry, blitzø just créate the apology tour , that was so insane and gorgeus.
stolas gave blitz the option to say "don't go to london, i cannot be without you" in that moment but blitz didn't do it. his self hatred took over and he let stolas go. so he did.
Maybe he realized that when you truly love someone it’s best to let them go, especially if you f up and realize you love them too late. I know how Blitzø feels…. This whole episode is a rollercoaster of emotions and I’m crying. I really hope Blitzø changes for the better
Imagine having so many people fall in love with you that you pushed away, and they throw a party dedicated to hating you, and most of them break down and cry at the memory of you, and you still cant seem to get it in your head that people care about you. Edit: Yo chat these bots are so annoying
sometimes 100 people could say they love you, could sleep with you, but because of your own clouded mine you cant find the care for yourself and it feels like everyone is a liar, like he dumped ver because she said she loved him, it felt fake, terrifying, and wrong. you have to love yourself to love others but you have to love yourself to recieve love too
Okay so is there like a button or something that stops all these bots from showing up on comment sections? Because if there is I would love to know about it and where to find it.
i love how at 15:35, Blitz and Stolas both synchronize with Stolas's words. Like when Stolas says he wants someone to want to hold him, we see Blitz fidgeting with his hands. And when Stolas says he wants someone to look at him and want only him, we see how Blitz looks quietly but with emotional eyes at Stolas. It's as if Stolas is narrating his feelings and/or thoughts. Also the fact that Blitz said that out of all the apologies, the one for Stolas was the only genuine one, really adds that he only wants Stolas like Stolas himself said. ALSOOO, we see how much Blitz actually loves him since he's deciding to change only now.
And in the "I want you and no one else," it shifts from Blitz's face to his POV, where he is looking at Stolas and not seeing anyone else in the room. Whichever artists storyboarded this conversation between them deserve an award TBH.
@@Caldellaand did yah peep how when he was talking to verosika how he emphasized “well I’m sorry i didn’t fall head over heels for YOU” meaning that, everybody else he ain’t get this feeling, but with stolas he ACTUALLY FEELS something for him
Didn´t expect such a sweet moment between Verosica and Blitz. She seems almost like she wants to actualy help him change, which just makes it hit harder. It would be nice to see them more together, like helping each other getting things sorted and evolving as individuals
The best part of this is… blitz is never out of place at the party. It’s for everyone that hates him. And even when screaming from the top of his lungs. No one looks at him as a monster or demon among demons. He’s just broken. Fitting in with all the other broken people at this gathering. It’s poetic. Edit: man this doin numbers
even more interesting, if you really think about it, the part is for him too to change involves essentially HATING who you are before and to the present and desiring improvement...if he wants to change, hes as welcome at the party as anyone whos "welcome"
NO ONE hates Blitz more then Blitzø. That's why he's there. That's why no one looks at him as a Monster, and lets him stay. They know he hates himself.
Vivzie’s layered story telling is great. Stolas and Verosika both realizing Blitz isn’t doing these bad things because he’s choosing to be evil, but because he hates himself is empathy we haven’t seen in a lot of TV shows throughout the years.
Verosika being the only person in the party who realises that Blitzø hates himself so much doesn't trust himself anymore to the point he knows no one will love him anymore. 😢 I'm glad that Verosika still cares for him. Also this episode was satisfying and depressing at the same time.
I see the problem is Blitz has struggled about finding inner peace for himself that was why he sneaked around Moxie and Mille. He just wants someone to truly care for him like a companion friend for the rest of his life. But what I see, this is perfect from now and he should not messed up, Blitz went to Stolas to ask for more was a dump mistake but not significant and matter.
Stolas' monologue about how he wants to know what's it like to not be alone, it has really touched me on a personal level. I never thought that any line in any show could move me like that. Thank you
I live how this episode doesn't end with a hope of them getting together, but that Blitzo has realised his mistake and wants to get better. I love how it doesn't use rose tinted glasses to make it seem like they can just heal from this after the confession-instead they're just talking, clearing their mind once and for all after realising they're to fucked up to even consider a closer relationship right now or even ever. And after the haze of anger, after they clear themselves of strong emotions and reflect on what's happened, and everything before? They actually talk and discuss, explain their feelings and listen to one another. That feels so life-like, so true to the ups and downs of emotions and desire and unhealthy attachments
@Aflay1 I strongly disagree, especially because Stolas is the reason why their dynamic is that way in the first place. He essentially treats Blitzø like a prostitute, dehumanizes him while actively treating other imps as lesser than, then became emotionally manipulative and self absorbed the very first time it's even remotely addressed. Blitzø may be the one having the vibrant outbursts and the one yelling, but that didn't negate the damage Stolas has done.
Stolas is the highest ranked demon at the party but no one seemed to care. No bowing, no 'your highness' and no special treatment. Also notice how Blitz growled when Stolas said he didn't look down on him...
I like to think he considered that a positive. As far as we're aware, Stolas has never seen himself as being the same as all the other Ars Goetia nobles of Hell, which is why Blitz seeing him as a "...RICH, POMPOUS ASSHOLE!" hurt him so much.
might also be because verosika’s party MAY be looked over or lightly guarded by Bee, as shown with her handwritten note to verosika at 8:21 . This could have been told to guests so they worry less. Just theorizing tho, you never know!
@@yaya.cor.1218possibly, but tbf, Tex is there and he’s Verosika’s body guard. And we know he’s dating Bee. So with knowing that a party is going on, and she’s the Sin of Gluttony, I’m certain she left that note to remind them to have a good time. Don’t overindulge due to self-pity, cuz that was Blitz’s issue during Queen Bee.
Honestly, this needed to happen. It's like a wake-up call for Blitzo. He needed to realize that Stolas actually loves and cares for him. And I think it's nice that it also lets Stolas see a little more into how Blitzo views himself(even if very little because Blitzo bottles up and safeguards his feelings). He got to see that Blitzo has NO VALUE in himself and can't comprehend on why someone would love/care about him. (I can relate to Blitzo tbh 🥲)
I agree with you completely. And I'm not excusing blitzos behaviour but I'm mad a stolis. He wants to have a proper conversation and both times blitzo decided to and was ready to be vulnerable with him stolas ran away. Blitzo is an asshole but he hates himself, that doesn't excuse his behaviour but when he is ready to be vulnerable about it stolis runs away and doesn't give him a chance. I like what happened with verosika because didn't accept the apology but let him be vulnerable and stuff.
Also relate how blitzo got extremely pissed when he saw stolas make out with that other guy. Bet right now when blitzo gets stolas back he’s killing that guy 100% 😂
i loved that detail of the music saying "don't touch that pretty thing" when he was going to put his hand on Stolas. argh, this hits so hard cause i identify with Blitz's whole situation so much. not exactly by any means but the "my life sucks so i must suck, too" feeling. same hat, bro. you're not helping yourself any but i get the feel.
Hi, today I'm going to explain how I accidentally depaR myself: I basically showered and bathed until the shower water went directly into my slatineG and it gnikcuF hurt
I love how when Verosika was first introduced, she and Blitz were at each other's throats in the blink of an eye. Then here we see that while it was clear their relationship had long since been over, and hosting the party where everyone has felt Blitz's sting, the way she put him in his place first, then sat and talked rather than just exposing him showed she still had some hidden care and compassion to him. To think Blitz is so afraid of being alone, and yet just walked into a whole party of people who hated him due to being burned by him when they did want him. Poor Blitz just took a sharp smack to the head and had his eyes forcefully opened to what he's done and how many people he's pushed away.
I made several arts for Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss, about character trivia, help me share and you will have fun if you are a true fan, I leave you the videos on my RUclips shorts
oh my god this episode was amazing. literally the best one of the series by far in my opinion. i was just in awe throughout the entire song stolas sang. bryce pinkham's voice is absolutely phenomenal!!
i like how Verosika isnt some cold hearted bitch we saw in spring broken but is a hurt and deeply relatable character, being ghosted and abandoned by someone you fell in love with does hurt and it does affect you, but we also see that, while it isnt an instant friendship, she is open to seeing Blitz change is open to forgiving him
i like to imagine that the beginning of season 1 was Blitz's perspective and as the story continues we see more of the reality of the relationships between characters, especially if there will be more shorts of how the different characters come together and interact, id love to see a short in the future of Striker and Verosika, just because of the whole I.M.P exes thing
Remember the scene in S1E7 when Verosika was singing and looked pissed off while inches away from Blitzo’s face? In the S2 Part 2 trailer, it’s clear that she wasn’t pissed off, she was hurting emotionally
She was always petty, but she never came off as a "cold hearted bitch". Just someone who was hurt and wasn't afraid to express it. During her very introduction, we get to see her drop the smile and be genuinely mad at Blitzø, telling him off for what he did to her. This was always her character, and it was always clear. I don't know where you got that interpretation from.
At first, I was confused as to why it still seemed like she was obsessed with Blitz enough to throw a hate party in his image. But I think, even though it's clear she has issues of her own to work out, she wanted to externalize her feelings in a way that she can easily physically cope with, and to do it with other people who shared the same emotional trauma. It's very easy to villify one's ex, but I think deep down, perhaps hesitantly, she knows Blitz is hurting just as much.
I actually didn’t catch that the demon coming out of the shower was Mrs. Mayberry at first. I mean, we only briefly see her demon form in the first episode and she’s sopping wet, without her glasses and only wearing a towel. It does explain why Blitz and her are both grinning about it so smugly though.
Except it could be hard to tell early in the show. Like for I stance when Stolas was saving IMP from the humans he calls Blitzø his "Impish Little Plaything."
Smh
Yo
Woah Hi
OMG ITS TOMOTASAUCE HIIIII
What do you mean Wake up call
So when's the next abridged scene for this?
The best kind of succubus~
@@calebkelly8221that scares me solely from the "~" ;-;
Also I like that despite being a succubus that you expect her to be the “bad” one in a relationship, like cheating or not taking relationships seriously, but it seems like as a succubus she’s in tune with other people, she’s warm and welcoming and does know a lot about love and I LOVE THAT!
This is the internet, people will make anything into a ship, no matter how innocent it was.
That's what the song at the end is about
I love that verosica literally hands him his bleeding heart on a plate symbolizing both how she freely offered her heart to him and he broke it, AND how his heart is also hurting now because of his own actions
he aslo left his heart there, HE LEFT HIS H E A R T, he is broken.
Also an 'eat your heart out, Blitz, Stolas is getting over you' moment.
You could also add "pouring your heart out" as he wants to change his ways and just had an emotional conversation with Verosika
Now that S2's over, I saw someone mention that him calling Stolas "my heart" in Mastermind adds extra depth to this, as when he left Stolas at the party, he left his heart, too.
@@Caldella oooo wow that is a cool connection!

Verosica destroyed him with this line before explaining how it felt to be heartbroken.
I hope she doesn’t fully forgive Blitz, as she has every right to hate him, but sees him as more than just Blitzo the bitch who hurt so many people

As someone who takes a psychology class in college, its genuinely amazing to me how blitzø was written
Its a bit of a mix of many unique psychological mentalities
Blitzø firstly hates himself and doesnt believe he deserves love, so he runs away from people when they try to love him
Hes afraid he wont be good enough or hell hurt someone, so he tries to push people away, not realizing thats what hurts them
And lastly, he cant comprehend the fact that someone could care about him, thinking everyone looks down on him because he looks down on himself
Ive shared a similar mentality to blitzø myself, scared that ill hurt people and pushing them away, not knowing that pushing them away is what hurts them the most
Its not easy to get over this mentality, but how it was written in this show is genuinely amazing and makes me think vivzie has not only studied psychology, but possibly experienced this mentality for herself
Psychological problems like this are hard to write into a fictional character, especially this well
Yk, you putting this into more detailed words made me realize how much I actually relate to this. To Blitzo here
@milbo06 yea, I love when shows or books give main characters psychological flaws like this
But theyre very hard to write, so when they're done well, they're amazing
I myself am a fledgling author and I usually write my main characters with psychological issues that plays into their character arc alongside the main story
For example my latest short story has a character who's a detective, but she has massive superiority problems
Not that she thinks she's better than everyone, but that she can't handle the idea of not being better, when she can't do something she has panic attacks and she actively avoided help because she believes she has to do things on her own
It's not the main focus of the story as she's a detective and that's the main focus, but it plays into her character arc that happens during the course of the main conflict
But again, writing mental issues like this is a big risk, not only do you have to make it believable, you have to handle it with a lot of respect, because messing up something like that could receive you a lot of backlash
Yapster over here
@Lazyfizh I'm sorry you have nothing better to do with your life than to go and insult people you know nothing sbout
You reiterated the same point 3 times but in different words. Plus Blitzo is easy to write about, the hard part is the characters accepting this and taking responsibility.
How symbolic that Blitz went on a "hate Blitz" party. He fits in perfectly

the fact that Stolas was still s polite with Blitz even after he was so hurt by him really shows how much he still loves and cares for him:)
His armour of self-hatred is so thick he can't see past it 😢
" His armour of self-hatred is so thick he can't see past it"
At first,Blitz didn't see it. At the end of the episode, he sees it now,at least a little. Regardless of when it started, Blitz has hurt people and I hope he does begin to change things for the better. Maybe he and Stolas will get back together but they work on their individual issues before then
Precisely the problem with him. And later when he was about to lay his hand on Stolaz back it showed that he even knows that himself.
I kinda love how the fact that when blitz reveals himself to stolas at the bar after the song, even though stolas is drunk and hurt and angry, he still worries enough to make sure blitz is properly covered in the tablecloth and leads him away somewhere safer and quieter to talk without blitz getting hurt
ı love stolas for that and many other kind things

18:51 The way it's angled, and how he holds the bar things, makes it look like he's in prison. symbolic, huh?
also the way Veronika is "breaking out of prison" so genius
@@Julia-ek2kn OMG I thought she did that because in film and animation you generally want to have the faces onscreen uncovered. But the prison symbolism is perfect!
The fact that Verosika is truly a kind and empathetic succubus of a person truly signifies her improved characterization over the first season
Agreed. After Ozzy's it became pretty clear she felt jilted and was very much having trouble being over it.
Verosika is actually cooler now we see her kindness and host-like behavior.
i always thought she was cool from the first season to now plus her design is so pretty !
Perfect?? DAWG it is kind of perfect , the mix of heartbreaking and realisation is just amazing
The way he stops crying is exactly what I did when I wasn't allowed to cry as a kid. You know, the out-of-breath sounds and closing your eyes because I didn’t want the tears to fall out. Just, omg😭

@@hshsklllbUh, I kinda liked it..
(we all have our opinions dw :3)
Also plays with the phrase, eat your heart out
You could also say that since the cake is oozing a bit, it means his heart is hurting by how much he’s treated the people around them, like stolas or verosika. It really goes to show how bad he feels now that he looks at the other party members in disgust of himself

Sameee
SAME i came down here to comment “it starts with sorry” lol
I mean, that works if they're finally killing off this forced "Stolas always had feelings for Blitz" nonsense once and for all. Otherwise it's just going back to Stolas being a cheating pile of bird droppings like the pilot which, finally some character consistency I guess?
At 15:45, right as Blitz was about to touch Stolas, the song gets louder, saying "Dont touch that pretty thing." Such a small detail but the work everyone has put into this is incredible.

The part where Stolas says “there’s an entire group of people who have a party about hating you, every year” is amazing. In relationships usually you cannot hate someone without loving them first, as that hatred is due to being hurt

Right ? A really empowering line imo.
It’s relatable too

19:28 i really like the amount of symbolism in verosika giving the cake heart to blitz. on one hand it felt like it meant "closure" on her end after he apologized and shes finally gives him his heart back that shes been holding onto. i think its paired with the wake up call she already gave him about how people have been hurt by him, including her, in the "worst way possible" at their most vulnerable. and all of that happens while blitz heart was already bleeding. he has such a dark view of what vulnerability looks like (prolly cuz of his dad) that he shames it in others and himself. he hates himself so bad he not only makes himself pay for it(self sabotage is an understatement) but ANYONE who even thinks about getting "serious" with him specifically too, he hates them.
ironically that apology was a "peice of cake."
he doesnt even eat his own heart out lol
bro i can even smell this comment fucking go and shower
I also saw it as a clear reference to the phrase “eat your heart out.” Which is essentially what Blitzø’s been doing. He’s jealous, feeling deep regret, and he’s longing for something now (supposedly) out of reach due to his own actions.

I feel bad for Blitz.
This whole episode makes me cry my heart out and I don’t even know why really?? It’s amazing. It’s one of my favorites. It’s so painful and beautiful
I just hope that means, after he becomes A better person, Blitz and Stolas get back together. There my favorite ship. 🥺
Even if it's not a true relationship, I hope at least they're good friends. They both don't have someone they can call a friend at this point.
Not quite true.
Blitz has Fizz as a friend, but Stolas has *maybe* Ver. Joined in a shared pain, but little else.
@@KyleDGrizzlyI think that would retcon…..well this episode and its theme of handling change (at least that’s what I think)
Now we understand why Blitz keeps stalking Millie and Moxxie: he cant fathom a real relationship, how someone could care so much for eachother. I think he might be seriously hoping that they break up

And how at 16:29 he still looks to blitzø to see if he’s ok with it despite everything that’s happened

Amazing work Viv and especially the rest of the Helluva Boss team 💛

It's sad, but that's the deep truth

Two things about this episode:
One, I like how Stolas took a seat while telling Blitzø that he's never looked down on him.

blitzo's way past the point of having a redemption but since he's the main character
@@azurite_ore9647 There's no such thing as "way past redemption," he's just got a lot of work to do.
💯💯
As someone who wants a romcom romance. It's not the beautified version I want. It's the choice. I want someone to choose me. Despite it being hard. For someone to look at me and say that I am what they want. Regardless of what else is out there.
@@amandacartier4465 I agree, I feel like he just needs affirmation that Blitzo cares and wants him, which makes sense because he’s never really had that in his life. We saw this when Blitzo asked him to Ozzie’s, or when the one guy asked him to dance he really appreciates little gestures like that.
Yeah, but its terrible in context coming from someone like him.
It also implies that Blitzø also watches romcoms
I notice something.

Showing how Blizto wont open his heart but Stolas will. And Verosika is free from their relationship, while Blitzo still feels trapped.

Fun fact, blitzø wanted to discuss with Stolas in the first minutes of the episode and when Stolas said that he wants a sorry, blitzø just créate the apology tour
, that was so insane and gorgeus.
stolas gave blitz the option to say "don't go to london, i cannot be without you" in that moment but blitz didn't do it. his self hatred took over and he let stolas go. so he did.

i love how at 15:35, Blitz and Stolas both synchronize with Stolas's words.

The best part of this is… blitz is never out of place at the party. It’s for everyone that hates him. And even when screaming from the top of his lungs. No one looks at him as a monster or demon among demons. He’s just broken. Fitting in with all the other broken people at this gathering. It’s poetic.
Edit: man this doin numbers
even more interesting, if you really think about it, the part is for him too
to change involves essentially HATING who you are before and to the present and desiring improvement...if he wants to change, hes as welcome at the party as anyone whos "welcome"
NO ONE hates Blitz more then Blitzø. That's why he's there. That's why no one looks at him as a Monster, and lets him stay. They know he hates himself.

Verosika being the only person in the party who realises that Blitzø hates himself so much doesn't trust himself anymore to the point he knows no one will love him anymore. 😢 I'm glad that Verosika still cares for him. Also this episode was satisfying and depressing at the same time.
@KungFuPandaYFGAyour content is shit😂😂😂
I see the problem is Blitz has struggled about finding inner peace for himself that was why he sneaked around Moxie and Mille. He just wants someone to truly care for him like a companion friend for the rest of his life.
But what I see, this is perfect from now and he should not messed up,
Blitz went to Stolas to ask for more was a dump mistake but not significant and matter.
If only stolas would take accountability for his actions.

Agreed, but I think Stolas has done a lot less to hurt Blitz than Blitz has done to hurt Stolas.
People love Minecraft, but Fortnite is actually way better. Don't play Micecrap, join me and become a fortnitian!
@@Aflay1 that being said, I still think they're both at fault, just more so Stolas

Don’t overindulge due to self-pity, cuz that was Blitz’s issue during Queen Bee.
Viz's world building and character writing leaves lots to be desired

Remember the scene in S1E7 when Verosika was singing and looked pissed off while inches away from Blitzo’s face?
In the S2 Part 2 trailer, it’s clear that she wasn’t pissed off, she was hurting emotionally
That was the best part to see, hopefully Blitz can learn to accept this and grow, and become better!
