  • These oatmeal lace cookies are one of my favorite, and easiest cookie recipes! They're perfectly caramelized so they have crispy golden brown edges, and a chewy center.

    Thanks so much for this recipe, I love how easy and affordable these cookies are and how impressive they look. I am going to try using equal measure gluten-free flour and make these for christmas presents.

    Does the dough need to remain warm, since we can make only so few at a time? What makes them spread so much?

    I love the idea and they look great but I sure would have to cut the recipe in half... I dont wanna spend so much time making that many cookies. Especially if they are so small...
    So Chels
    Would I just cut every ingredient in half ???

    • @Chelsweets
      @Chelsweets  4 года назад +1

      Hi! You can totally cut the recipe in half :) That would work just fine! You can also make slightly larger cookies if you want!

    Can I use toaster oven?

    • @colleen4931
      @colleen4931 4 года назад

      Possible ,but it may burn a lot quicker since the heat is closer to the cookies.

    Can i use powder oats so the cookies will be more crispy?if yes then how many grams can i use in this recipy?

    • @beatriceladouce965
      @beatriceladouce965 3 года назад

      What is powder oats? You mean oat flour? Don't you have access to instant oats? It's pretty similar to oat flour. The difference might be that it's less fine than flour. And in theory using something with a bit more structure than just flour will make your cookies more crunchy. Not the reverse.
