    Thank you so much. I started using 3ds Max a month ago and this is one of the best, detailed modelling tutorials I have come across. Learnt a lot in this half an hour. Looking forward to go through the other videos as well. Please keep up the good work.

    Can someone explain me what he did on minute 14:20 lock a think of Y axis ? please explain all the steps , how exactly he snapped to a Z axis without moving the rest

      In order to be able to snap on to a certain axis (in this case Y axis) you need to click on the yellow line before moving the verticies. This way when you try to move them they will only move on the locked axis. You will know if this worked because if it's locked then the axis will show up in yellow color.

    what if we have to draw without a proper view of the reference chair. Would that be impossible?
