This is the main problem. People spend so much time going gaga over Tata vehicles on social media, and at the same time stay apprehensive about criticizing it when needed. Why? Because it's Tata , an Indian manufacturer, so somehow people seems to forgive all issues. If you don't bring out the problems and criticize , they will never get better. I am sick of Tata fanboys bullying people online who dare to criticize Tata or highlight some shortcomings with the cars or service.
They make fun of Toyota,the largest car manufacturer in the world ,we know Toyota as the most innovative company,but recently a stupid RUclipsr made fun of Toyota pointing out the accident caused when the airbags didn't activate,but you only say ,if their is a lot of orders from customers ,then obviously there are going to be some flaws,this has happened even with Volvo which makes the safest road cars on the planet!
Motoroctane is a big example for this. It's host Rachit Hirani forces people to buy Tata cars, even though Tata's service is pathetic. Rachit Hirani is always biased towards Tata cars.
Bhai apne bilkul shi kha..I too purchased a tiago 2 months back and on 21st of Jan,2019 I took it to rd motors service center,kolkata for 1st service..my car had not a single scratch in it but after I handed my car to them for washing and car check(I was facing some issues) I found a dent with a scratch..I informed them and after seeing the cctv footage they agreed to mend it and told their driver to park the car in front of body shop and then that driver in front of me drove the car so insanely within the service center premises that my car got hit again and this time it was the chassis.Actually the car got hit very badly to a bumper and it was so bad that the right side chassis got dented and came out from beneath. They have repaired my car but I am not happy with the finishing or anything..also I reported the whole story to tata with proofs but they too have not taken any necessary action against such a bad service.. Really Tata service sucks..It's better u guys start focusing on it services or it won't take time to see the same fate again Tata

When I mailed you people didn't get a response now you people are responding because it's on RUclips. I can't share all the details here but yes will definitely tell you the Chassis number that is MAT627162JLK47519 and service center - Maa Samaleswari Automobiles, Sambalpur, Odisha. This is update of this comment on 20.02.19. So they(tata motors) commented on my video and they ended up saying that it was the best possible solution. Very soon I am going to upload the video about there best possible solution
This people customer Care is doing the gimmick....... They neither come with any solution nor TATA officials are responsible. I have bad experience too booked Nexon Kraz (p) In Dec 2018 and till now no response. Now they say no vehicle manufacturing. Customer care is a waste. need to take them all to court. In fact Dharmendra is true when he said they do not respond to either mail.
Was planning for harrier but after watching this i am scared.. i already own tata indica but i usually give my car outside since i had some bad experience with my tata services.. i thought it has improved from then but looks like something never changes

Mere Wagon R ka C pillar bohot buri tarah, pichak gaya tha.... But, I got the, car in 1 day from an Authorised service station ....and I was amazed with the precision.....and costed 17500...but worth it..

I want to share my horrible xperience with tata. I bought Tiago last Sept 2018 n I notice 1st gear is moving back n forth in while driving in uphill also 3rd gear was also vibrating violently other gear was alrite. When I brought this to the service centre they said they will call the company n call me back. But now another issue arise the car starts to make sound like tractor when i start the car in the morning n when I press the clutch it disappears again I complaint this to the service centre but the same reply I get. They will call me back after they have a word with the company. But till date no word from the service centre. I have regret buying Tiago. I never knew tata service is so bad. I should have bought other brand. How can the company for this to it's customer? I haven't talk about this to my friends n co workers I feel so ashamed about my decision buying tata products. I want everyone to be very cautious before buying tata cars, I don't want anyone to meet the same horrible expeience that I have encounter with tata motors.
Actually they are making good products but this is ruining the whole experience. The service quality even after contacting Tata has made no difference then I would blame Tata.
I am in a similar situation. I recommended nexon to many people after buying itself. But now my foot is in my mouth because my vehicle nexon is stick in the service centre for two weeks. I told my cousin to go for Tata car but even he is having steering box issues with his brand harrier

My nexon has been in the service centre for two weeks now. They have not been able to resolve oil leakage problem for that long. they need to overhaul the service centres. I don't think I am buying another tata car ever.

On top of it - No test drive Vehicles available (don't even think of asking for Manual or Automatic) - plus , waiting period of 2 Months. Arae Bhai.....Delhi me Chandni Chowk me koi sardar ji hai Jo Kai paints ka combination banata hai. AAP banwao aur locallly paint aur rubbing Kara lo. Usually jitne bhi Workshops hai, wo servicing ke naam PE Sirf engine oil, break oil aur filter change Krna jaante Hain, Jo koi gadha bhi KR sakta hai. Jab kabhi technical problem Hoti hai to koi mechanic dhang SE problem nahi pakar pata ,kyunki usually car mechanics an-padh gawaar hote hai, wo bus mota mota kaam jante Hain.
Firstly you met with an accident it was your fault. They repaired however there was issue in repaint. Understand paint done while manufacturing is robotic and they also measure thickness of the painted layers and keep it similar. The paint done at services center are manually done and they are not computerized. There always be a difference of 15-20% in shades. I am owning Tata Safari since 2009 and till date they never disappointed.
You may be right...but if you are paying a large amount of money then you need to be satisfied with quality....I got accident of my swift 73% damage but just after 2 months I got it just like new... appreciate their work

Mera experience bhi same hai. TATA ki cars achi hoti he. But, across the country they have bad service. You will find rarely good dealers of TATA. 9% TATA dealers worth of trust out of 100% of TATA. And those 9% of good dealers are hard to found.
It's same for every car company , people always worry about the after sale service which is genuine becoz a car last with owners for 8-10 yrs and if the service is bad then most of them will avoid this harrasment and extra cost obviously
Tata service is the worst. I had a similer experience when they were dealing with fiat vehicles. I bought my punto from the tata dealer at peeragarhi, delhi and faced similer issues. Once after the free service, they gave back my vehicle at 9pm without washing it. At my objection, the staff started punjabi abuses. The next morning on my complaint, Tata officials visited from Gurugram and found that 7000 rs had been charged from me without doing anything. Not even oil change. The apologised and again took the vehicle for service and returned it with complimentry oiling worth 500. The owner of the dealership is some aggarwal and the service department is managed by some Sher Singh. It is a huge Tata dealership on rohtak road, peeragarhi. Today i am about to buy a new car, i like the new tata cars, but will never gather courage to buy it and face such issues. They will never learn. Why does Maruti outsell everybody? Just because of top class service centres.
Bhai kind of same thing happened with our Honda Jazz. Our driver side door was severely damaged , sent it for repairing claimed it through insurance and had to pay some of the amount. But after many days of repair they couldn't match the colour, the fit and finish was kind of shabby and not neat. There were gaps between the door when compared to other doors. Even the door looked like a used/old Jazz's door not a new one. And our Jazz's colour is Pearl white the the doors colour was snow white type....preal white has that sparkling look and a lighter shade of white , while the normal snow white is plain white colour. Honda service people were not agreeing that it's not matching and told it's the same colour and is the best they can do in fit and finish. Next service showed them the difference, they agreed and told that they would charge extra for painting the door, but it may won't match 100%. Then we left it like that only . 2) Second problem is that ever since we have bought the vehicle while braking/hard braking the front disc brake make a lot of noise showed it around 2-3 times to Honda ...it's good only for 1-2 weeks and start making noises again. Then the Honda people say that the noise from the brakes are normal and is not a problem. Showed it to them 3 times still they are unable to get to a permanent fix to it again it starts after 1-2 weeks of daily use. Even have a 2014 Honda City i-dtec thought that is perfectly ok they don't really service the vehicle well and just fool customers and mint money.
Actually these people dont even care about customers once they have snatched your money every politeness is gone. that's why except Maruti no one is doing very good. I think the idea of a centrally controlled dealership/service center is the best idea as Maruti did with Nexa. Then they will have accountability as well as standard equipmets so that every service center will be same at least equipment wise.

Not true... I have honda BRV, they have the original paint provided by company itself to the service centres. My car had major accident at front the color is perfect!
I don't agree every paint have a unique code which is written on the plate inside bonnet where all details are written. If they make colour through the computerised colour machine(like asian paints wall paints uses in paint shops) then you will get the same colour every single time. not possible with hand mixing. I had repaired my Hyundai Sonata door because of a minor accident and after a week when I got my car back my friends were amazed because they can't find any clue of repair and paintwork( the paintwork also include new door side beading which is a plastic part )

paint difference is alwys there if u compare with factory fitted paint n outside paint.its a problem with all carmakers.once u want to change bumpers or fenders ur paint will not match with original one.thts why while selling car people can know ur car is accidental or not. no one can match paint from outside whoever its dealers or service senters of any carmakers with factory fitted paints its normal buddy.not with only TATA. i hv maruti car n same problem i faced too.
I agree but then making things 15-20 doesn't work 19-20 is good. Abhi wapas I had the same issue both the doors have to be painted and you won't believe they did match it almost perfectly so its an issue with the technicians who r doing the job. I know my color is a lot difficult to reproduce but and to my surprise they did match it. But it was a different service center.

Ertiga Blue colour 3 months old, Ye Maruti ka bahat purana Colour hai. Fir Bumper Scratched repaint karwana pada, Service Centre me. Uske baad Colour difference. Yahi Sachai hai. 😔 Fir darwaja me scratch or fir repair karwaya hi nahi😁
Actually puri fender plate replace hui h, and if the plate has been changed then it must match the original color, coz had it been bumper or scratch I understand that they do putty fillings and that might not match but if you are changing the whole plate then it must match.
I had Technical problem with my Hyundai i 10 and gave it to Samra Hyundai workshop in New Delhi patparganz industrial area. For 13 days car was with them and Everytime I went to them they came out with new problem and billing. At last when they said that car needs engine hawling and will cost Rs 45, 000 total , I got furious and threatened them with court case got my car out of their shit place. Got my car reapired by local mechanic within 2 days for only Rs 13,450 and engine hawling was not required

I totally agree. I owned a used alto and visited service centres many times. They are much more professional and competent than Tata servicing personnel. I am going through a horrible time because they cannot resolve my nexon problems for two weeks now

Claimed it but it wasn't cashless also they didn't reimburse whole amount. They reimbursed around 73% of the total but still money spent is money. Somehow insurance companies are not giving their money its our's only.

Nah they actually weren't able to match the color due to a minor dent recently two of my doors got painted and they both match the original color perfectly but the portion that they have done is still visible clearly to not matching.

I have heard this from a person who owns a Tata vehicle and tells it was a wrong decision to buy it as power windows to door locks etc many such issue screw ur peace of mind in tata cars. Sad to see the video that Tata isn't addressing & itz customer problem even today...

Hi, I also own a Tata Nexon. I think you have this issue with few service centers only. I stay in Hyderabad and I don’t have issues with service too... and good part is I got a call from Tata motors where I can provide my feedback. I think Tata understood the servicing issues which people faced and now looking into... please give them some time to address in all regions of India.
It's Tata's responsibility to provide quality after sales service. The buck stops with Tata. I also having similar problems at my place. It seems the mechanics have no clue. Repairing a vehicle is not a trial and error method. They should be skilled enough to diagnose the problem and resolve it . Not rely on random guesswork because thats happening here.
Bhai ji ye us wale showroom ne kiya.... mere yha jo showroom hai wo jabardast service krte hai.... Fast hai or servicing ki quality a1 hai.... This depends upon showroom.and its worker not directly to tata motors

I want to share my horrible xperience with tata. I bought Tiago last Sept 2018 n I notice 1st gear is moving back n forth in while driving in uphill also 3rd gear was also vibrating violently other gear was alrite. When I brought this to the service centre they said they will call the company n call me back. But now another issue arise the car starts to make sound like tractor when i start the car in the morning n when I press the clutch it disappears again I complaint this to the service centre but the same reply I get. They will call me back after they have a word with the company. But till date no word from the service centre. I have regret buying Tiago. I never knew tata service is so bad. I should have bought other brand. How can the company for this to it's customer? I haven't talk about this to my friends n co workers I feel so ashamed about my decision buying tata products. I want everyone to be very cautious before buying tata cars, I don't want anyone to meet the same horrible expeience that I have encounter with tata motors.
Actually they are making good products but this is ruining the whole experience. The service quality even after contacting Tata has made no difference then I would blame Tata.

My nexon has been in the service centre for two weeks now. They have not been able to resolve oil leakage problem for that long. they need to overhaul the service centres.

Usually jitne bhi Workshops hai, wo servicing ke naam PE Sirf engine oil, break oil aur filter change Krna jaante Hain, Jo koi gadha bhi KR sakta hai.
Jab kabhi technical problem Hoti hai to koi mechanic dhang SE problem nahi pakar pata ,kyunki usually car mechanics an-padh gawaar hote hai, wo bus mota mota kaam jante Hain.

Firstly you met with an accident it was your fault. They repaired however there was issue in repaint. Understand paint done while manufacturing is robotic and they also measure thickness of the painted layers and keep it similar. The paint done at services center are manually done and they are not computerized. There always be a difference of 15-20% in shades.

You may be right...but if you are paying a large amount of money then you need to be satisfied with quality....I got accident of my swift 73% damage but just after 2 months I got it just like new... appreciate their work

Mera experience bhi same hai. TATA ki cars achi hoti he. But, across the country they have bad service. You will find rarely good dealers of TATA. 9% TATA dealers worth of trust out of 100% of TATA. And those 9% of good dealers are hard to found.

It's same for every car company , people always worry about the after sale service which is genuine becoz a car last with owners for 8-10 yrs and if the service is bad then most of them will avoid this harrasment and extra cost obviously
Tata service is the worst. I had a similer experience when they were dealing with fiat vehicles. I bought my punto from the tata dealer at peeragarhi, delhi and faced similer issues. Once after the free service, they gave back my vehicle at 9pm without washing it. At my objection, the staff started punjabi abuses. The next morning on my complaint, Tata officials visited from Gurugram and found that 7000 rs had been charged from me without doing anything. Not even oil change. The apologised and again took the vehicle for service and returned it with complimentry oiling worth 500.
The owner of the dealership is some aggarwal and the service department is managed by some Sher Singh.
It is a huge Tata dealership on rohtak road, peeragarhi.
Today i am about to buy a new car, i like the new tata cars, but will never gather courage to buy it and face such issues.

Bhai kind of same thing happened with our Honda Jazz. Our driver side door was severely damaged , sent it for repairing claimed it through insurance and had to pay some of the amount. But after many days of repair they couldn't match the colour, the fit and finish was kind of shabby and not neat. There were gaps between the door when compared to other doors. Even the door looked like a used/old Jazz's door not a new one. And our Jazz's colour is Pearl white the the doors colour was snow white type....preal white has that sparkling look and a lighter shade of white , while the normal snow white is plain white colour. Honda service people were not agreeing that it's not matching and told it's the same colour and is the best they can do in fit and finish. Next service showed them the difference, they agreed and told that they would charge extra for painting the door, but it may won't match 100%. Then we left it like that only .
2) Second problem is that ever since we have bought the vehicle while braking/hard braking the front disc brake make a lot of noise showed it around 2-3 times to Honda ...it's good only for 1-2 weeks and start making noises again. Then the Honda people say that the noise from the brakes are normal and is not a problem. Showed it to them 3 times still they are unable to get to a permanent fix to it again it starts after 1-2 weeks of daily use.
Even have a 2014 Honda City i-dtec thought that is perfectly ok they don't really service the vehicle well and just fool customers and mint money.
Actually these people dont even care about customers once they have snatched your money every politeness is gone. that's why except Maruti no one is doing very good. I think the idea of a centrally controlled dealership/service center is the best idea as Maruti did with Nexa. Then they will have accountability as well as standard equipmets so that every service center will be same at least equipment wise.
Each time u go for a Honda service they will make sure to take money from u... High maintenance everytime

Not true... I have honda BRV, they have the original paint provided by company itself to the service centres. My car had major accident at front the color is perfect!
I don't agree every paint have a unique code which is written on the plate inside bonnet where all details are written. If they make colour through the computerised colour machine(like asian paints wall paints uses in paint shops) then you will get the same colour every single time. not possible with hand mixing. I had repaired my Hyundai Sonata door because of a minor accident and after a week when I got my car back my friends were amazed because they can't find any clue of repair and paintwork( the paintwork also include new door side beading which is a plastic part )

It’s a biggest deterrent for us Indians to not take Indian cars. We want to see Indian companies grow and put hard earned money to buy Indian made cars, however their after sales service sucks and leaves a bad overall customer experience.

paint difference is alwys there if u compare with factory fitted paint n outside paint.its a problem with all carmakers.once u want to change bumpers or fenders ur paint will not match with original one.thts why while selling car people can know ur car is accidental or not. no one can match paint from outside whoever its dealers or service senters of any carmakers with factory fitted paints its normal buddy.not with only TATA. i hv maruti car n same problem i faced too.
I agree but then making things 15-20 doesn't work 19-20 is good. Abhi wapas I had the same issue both the doors have to be painted and you won't believe they did match it almost perfectly so its an issue with the technicians who r doing the job. I know my color is a lot difficult to reproduce but and to my surprise they did match it. But it was a different service center.

Actually puri fender plate replace hui h, and if the plate has been changed then it must match the original color, coz had it been bumper or scratch I understand that they do putty fillings and that might not match but if you are changing the whole plate then it must match.

I had Technical problem with my Hyundai i 10 and gave it to Samra Hyundai workshop in New Delhi patparganz industrial area. For 13 days car was with them and Everytime I went to them they came out with new problem and billing. At last when they said that car needs engine hawling and will cost Rs 45, 000 total , I got furious and threatened them with court case got my car out of their shit place. Got my car reapired by local mechanic within 2 days for only Rs 13,450 and engine hawling was not required

Claimed it but it wasn't cashless also they didn't reimburse whole amount. They reimbursed around 73% of the total but still money spent is money. Somehow insurance companies are not giving their money its our's only.

Nah they actually weren't able to match the color due to a minor dent recently two of my doors got painted and they both match the original color perfectly but the portion that they have done is still visible clearly to not matching.

Hi, I also own a Tata Nexon. I think you have this issue with few service centers only. I stay in Hyderabad and I don’t have issues with service too... and good part is I got a call from Tata motors where I can provide my feedback. I think Tata understood the servicing issues which people faced and now looking into... please give them some time to address in all regions of India.
It's Tata's responsibility to provide quality after sales service. The buck stops with Tata. I also having similar problems at my place. It seems the mechanics have no clue. Repairing a vehicle is not a trial and error method. They should be skilled enough to diagnose the problem and resolve it . Not rely on random guesswork because thats happening here.

color ka to bhai panga rehta hi hai hai jo color factory se aayega car pe vo repair ke baad service centre wale kabhi bhi 100% match nahin kara payenge .. Meri nexon ek abr repaint ka kaam hua tha lekin color kabhi bhi match hi nahin hua original se 19-20 ka difference rehta hi hai kisi angle se similar lagta hai kisi angle se dekhne me difference pata padta hai....
