I think some confusion exists here, but I'll try my two cents. I am new to BT speakers - I do get sound from my NAD receiver/HK receiver, Marantz CD player, Lynn speakers, etc. I recently got an HK Onyx 7, and I was really impressed. By what you show here in this video: 1. Of course JBL will have a better soundstage! You are in front of it, and your microphone is designed to pick the front soundstage. 2. LG has a horn tweeter, or like people today are saying, compressed. Like Klipsch has been doing for the last 30 years and they are not meant to show the sweetness of a silk dome tweeter. That being said, JBL will present itself sweeter, with a more open sound. But as you press on the volume, the distortion will eventually appear. That's why LG does not present this deviation, distortions: a more aggressive, compressed sound with a big - big deep bass, bass reflex type (actually both have bass reflex type of bass, in contrast with suspension acoustic bass). I bet at low volumes, JBL will perform better with Vivaldi, Mozart, while LG will show a perfect Iron Maiden, Metallica sound. I really enjoyed the video, but those two speakers have different purposes, and different bias. And they are both great.
Hey. I got 2 of the LGs for my bedroom, because i Like the Design and the Moodlight and you can get them very cheap Here in Europe. The omnidirectional Sound is very good if you‘re listening to music or a radioplay while you‘re Laying in bed, it doesn‘t matter in which Position you Are, you Never miss highs. But in this case i don‘t Need Those high Volumes. I also think, the battery on the encore lasts much longer, But as long i got a Wall socket, i don’t Need long lasting batteries. The Light is very cosy. What i discovered: The Custom EQ lowers the volume in comparsion to the presets. There is no possibility to increase the lower Frequency Range under 100 Hz so with custom EQ they loose a lot of Punch. They Go much deeper if you use the EQ presets. I don‘t think that they reach the Maximum volume of the encore, But it also increases the volume if you use the Outdoor Mode. Best EQ Preset to me is Bass Boost. And yes, You’re Right: It delivers the Best sound, if you put it Directly on the Floor. I measured it and it went down to 43 Hz. That’s relativeley deep.

Essential vs Encore would be nice to see as you said (and tell how much I'm missing out by only having the essential)

@@keepgaining15 I'm not up on what all is available in Indonesia and prices. Sorry I couldn't be more help.😔
The lg sounds real good. Especially now that the price is only 149. You have to change the lg eq in the xboom app 🙏🏻🔥🔥
Did you watch the video? 🤔At 1:51 you can see that. 😉
I’m glad that I steered away from the LG. How do you think the Soundcore P2 would fare against these two?
Yeah, most speakers come up short when you put them against a Partybox. I may put the Rave Party 2 up against one of these in the near future. 😉
@@JaysStraightUpReviews sweet.
I go by what you say i love your reviews tfs
Glad you like them!
Oh course JBL! Lg looks like something the coneheads would use. 😂 Lmao! Happy New year to you and the hand family!!!
Somebody posted the other day that the LG looked like an atomic bomb...lol. Happy new year to you and yours, as well.
LG wins
JBL sounds better.
Lights on the LG looks kinda ridiculous and hectic. JBL in my opinion better, but also think about the Tribit Stormbox Blast 👍
LG win
JBL Sounds better.
