This could get tricky as there are no hdmi ports. The only solution we see would be to run a 3.5 aux cable from your TV (if it has an output for one) and then us a splitter to run to both speakers. Hi! I saw your video about JBL partybox speakers on instagram. You mentioned that with aux cord, you can plus in as many speakers as you want. We are thinking of buying partybox 310 and using aux cords to connect to that and to JBL boombox 2. Is this possible? And if so would a Y splitter and 2 aux cords be fine to use?
According to JBL you can wire different models of the partybox line together. We are not sure about using that method with the boombox, nothing in their tech docs say it will work.
IF you want to listen to them in True Wireless Stereo mode and like the idea of having a left and right speaker, then go with two essentials. It also spreads the music around better. However, if you need something more powerful to fill a larger area, go with the 310!

Thank you for such a great overview. If I want to DJ high school parties for a group of 10-20 people in a big basement, is the 310 big enough?
It should be, two on stands would be ideal. Thanks for watching
You only need one for up to like 40 people😂 don’t get two
Bruv you could use a jbl flip 4
@@keaganloubser4189 lmao!
Probably only with one jbl partybox encore is enough
Can the 110 be connected to the tv?
You could potentially use a 3.5 aux cord to connect it, however we have not tested that.
Will 2 encores beat a singel 110 when it comes to bass? I have a Encore and looking to get another 1 but it will be useless to me if i can just buy a 110 if it is stronger than 2 encores
That is a great question, inside you should get more impact from the two since it is more surface area. Outside might be a different story where the 110 would win. Thanks for watching
@@AudioAdvice Nice video i enjoyed watching👌
@@AudioAdvice Just recieved my 2nd encore yesterday and they sound great!!! Better than a 110 by a mile indoors and outside
2 encore beat 1 110!
Coz of the stereo stage and the Bass is more then even!
@@BlaInTjie Thanks for sharing, that is good to know. Were the Encores near a wall outside or in the wide open?
Can you sync the 710 and the 310 ? ( party mode)
They recently updated the firmware to allow you to pair any of these together. If they are the same, they will default to stereo, if different they go to party mode. Thanks for watching
Great Video! I have two 110's, They are great but I wish I had 2 310's
Thanks! Two 310's would rock!
Where to buy stand for jbl 110? Thanks
You may have to find something generic, we do not know of a specific one
How would the 110 stack up against the boombox 3? Does the boombox have higher quality sound? Thanks for making this video.
Glad you liked the video! The boombox versions are a lot more portable. Inside you might prefer the boombox.
@@AudioAdvice Thanks for the insight.
No comparison. 110 blows it away in every aspect. Boombox is just when you need solid sound with something small, versatile and convenient.
I want that beat music playing in the video at 43 seconds...what song is it? Great video btw on letting us learn about these JBL speakers.
It was a song that YT will not flag as copywrite protected we get from a special channel. We will try and find out the name for you. Glad you enjoyed the video
@@AudioAdvice I found it! "Like That" by Jane & The Boy Instrumental verion. You guys rock.
Can you connect more than 2 of these together--so way three or four 310 partyboxes?
Yes, you will need to use AUX cords to connect them to each other if you want to use more than 2.
@@AudioAdvice but only in partymode not in stereo!
@@bestertester9181 Yes, that is right.
does the 310 have free microphone??
No, you will need to purchase separately.
My cousin carries his JBL portable that fits in his side bookbag pocket. The sound is amazin for it's small size, but they are too rich for my pockets. I think JBL is the best Bluetooth speaker for sound quality
That's awesome! They are very high quality!
@@AudioAdvice I will afford one soon
Thanks for this vid. I'm really torn because I know the 310 is super enough for me but I want the light features of the 710. I know there's a 320 now, but nothings beats the LED lights designed on the 710, it's almost close to the JBL Ultimate.
I bet a 310 Speaker with the 710 lights feature is a PERFECT COMBINATION. 🥹
Yes, you got that right. Both have pretty great lights though!
Do you think a 310 and 110 can be loud enough for an inside party for 100 people?
possibly, it depends on how you define loud, but that is a lot of people
Will you guys be having a Black Friday sale this year on these?
Possibly. Nothing that we know of yet!
love your review,good recommend,already subscribe
Awesome, thank you!
@@AudioAdvice thank you!
Two essentials or one 310?
IF you want to listen to them in True Wireless Stereo mode and like the idea of having a left and right speaker, then go with two essentials. It also spreads the music around better. However, if you need something more powerful to fill a larger area, go with the 310!
Going to have to try one of these out by the pool!
They are fantastic for pool parties!
I got a party box 310 im getting a party box essential i Hope it's good
You should really enjoy it. It sounds very good. Cheers!
Hi ! Please tell me if Encore Essential is stereo if I use it alone, classic, not linked with another. The tweeters are separate left and right channels ??
They give you stereo effect yes
I have the 110 and 310 amazing speakers 🔊 JBL are the best simple as that!
They are very good, thanks for sharing
The party box encore essential the cube speaker is a kick off party starter in a party park, pool party, house party.
Yes it is, thanks for watching
👍. 301 is perfect for me. Sunshine State. 😃. - Heather
Good choice! Thanks for watching
I'll go with the 110 was looking at the Bose S1 Pro but too overpriced for me
Thanks for sharing
I think it's been updated to be able to pair all.of these models together Via TWS.
Yes it does, thanks for sharing! We just checked their tech page support.jbl.com/dk/da/howto/tws-mode-capabilities-emea/000017493.html
My wife just bought me the jbl partybox encore,it so powerful even more powerful after adjusting the equaliser from the ap,
Awesome! Thanks for sharing!
If your a bass lover these are the speakers for you, I personally own all of these and the sound is just awesome!
Thanks for sharing!
I want to have JBL party box 110 how to buy I love to have one Please
www.audioadvice.com/jbl-partybox-110 Thanks for watching our video
Patybox ultimate ออกวางจำหน่ายหรือยังครับ
Thanks for watching
JBL should release new version of Partybox speakers with USB-C charging port. It should charge up to 240 watts so which is sufficient.
Great point!
Is it okay to use 310 while its charging?
Yes
What’s crazier is that the 710 has more power than the 110, 310, and encore combined.
Haha! Thanks for sharing
You should update this now with 320 and 120 in the mix.
Thanks for the suggestion!
Can we plug in Guitar as well as Singing Mike with JBL Party encore essential? If anyone done this successfully, please comment!
I really loved JBL sound quality but I want to connect both Guitar as well as Mic into this speaker, please help!
There is a microphone input that you can mix with the audio signal. No guitar input. There is a 3.5mm AUX input. Thanks for watching
Music is not stereo with one unit right??
Not true stereo correct.
I want to buy a 310, i already have a 1000 and ultimate. idk. might just buy another ultimate
The ultimate is incredible. The 310 is nice because you don't need an outlet.
Can i use 310 in my living room ?
For sure
Can they be added to a car system?
We do not see a way to do that, unless you had an aux out in stereo with a fixed output level. Thanks for watching
prices ?

Which one plays FM radio?
None of these will. You'll have to connect to your phone to play radio from an app.
@@AudioAdvice that's lame. Why would anyone want to do that? What is the point in pushing products that won't even play FM? It seems ridiculous
This my be a dumb question but could I get the PB 710 or 1000 and connect it to my tv to act like a sound bar?
We would not recommend that. You technically could using a TV with analog audio outs, but its probably not a good idea
But can I use the 710 for karaoke???
Yes
Should i get 110 or 310 for a room ?I have neighbors 😅
110 will certainly fill up a small to medium sized room no problem. If you plan to bring it outdoors and fill a larger area, go with the 310
I always wanted to buy the 710, but those not having an integrated battery ( dk why they did not put one inside that beats ) i bought the 310. I love the 310, good battery life, amazing sound and bass, has the wheels and the handle to easy bring em with you wherever you want. i have them since 2 years now and i use them every day, and you don't need the 710 to have police called on you, it happened atleast more than 10 time now with the 310 ahah. once even someone on the other side of a big river called the police because he could hear them. Best speakers i ever had, and if one day i have my own house, imma buy the 710 or even the jbl partybox ultimmate haha
Great story! Thanks for sharing!
