Welcome to another episode of the Naeem Sikandar Podcast. In this exciting episode, we've invited Raheela Kashif, who started playing table tennis at the age of 13 from the Rawalpindi division. She has played table tennis at a national and international level for over 28 years. She went to the Barcelona Summer Olympics (1992) in Spain to represent Pakistan. She won the bronze medal for Pakistan at the 8th SAF games, Nepal (1999) in women’s single, and the silver medal in women’s double. She is a gold and silver medalist in Asian Games, National Games, Pakistan Master Cup, and many other tournaments. She is a 3 Times National Champion, Silver Medalist in SAF Games 2004, Bronze in SAF Games Sri Lanka, Silver Medalist in SAF Games 2016, 4 Gold Medals in National Championship 2000, and 3 Gold Medals in National Championship 2016. She had turned her home into ISLAMABAD TABLE TENNIS TRAINING CLUB where she teaches and coaches table tennis. Truly a legend in Table tennis. Her individual brilliance made her through and win all those awards. Table tennis federation is not working as it should be in Pakistan. Because in last decade WO lost too many telented youngsters.
