On deployment to Iraq, one of our block 30 F-16c models had a generator failure. The 60 KVA (main) generator was replaced and I had to run the jet to perform ops' checks. Enjoy!!
so would I, I have no idea how anybody would be ok with that and not go insane, thats probably what caused one guy to steal an A-4 skyhawk back in the day.
There's always the option of submitting a request for a checkride. Sometimes the mechanic has to take the car for a test drive. Now all you have to do is, commandeer a two-seater.

Well the description already states that it’s a Block 30. First Blk30s were fielded in 1987. I’d guess mainstream adoption to be somewhere in the mid to late 1990s. On top of that, there could’ve been tape upgrades
I remember watching the ground crew doing these start-up tests when I was in Japan. I always wondered why they made so much noise before the engine started up. I loved being a hvac tech in the USAF. We got to see really cool stuff, like this, by just doing our job.

Hey AirlinePilot. I was wondering: I have heard on many F-16s that signature turkey-feather whine on throttle up. When the aircraft does that, what are the conditions under which it would make that sound? Do only aircraft with certain engines do that?

A friend of mine says that when the main engine is started up and driving the generator, the powerswitch will flip back from "Main Power" to "Battery". Is this true?

Ok i have some guesses about fuc**** secret jammer panel. S = standby or selected, A = active, F = fail, T = threat or tracking. 1,2,3,4,5 are probably frequencies or reather frequency ranges.
